Review 1：Staying/Living there for a week... My father was in the hospital. Refrigerator was not working, asked several times to have it repair. it never was ever looked... Had problem with TV as well and they wanted to look at it at 12 mid-night??? I was hoping for a more comfortable stay and felt I did not get it...

Review 2：dirty blood spot pillows. the staff at the front desk is not very friendly or helpful and same thing for breakfast.

Review 6：There were a few things we didn't like: the beds are very hard, the towel bar in the bathroom was broke and there wasn't another one to use. The latch on the door frame was loose. It's breakfast area is TINY.

Also, the inside stairway was old, unpainted, dank, and very scuzzy. We went out of our way to another stairway to avoid it.

Review 32：Only stayed one night while traveling from San Francisco to San Diego. Clean, comfortable and the best breakfast from the 5 different places we stayed.

At least a dozen times I had to close my window due to people smoking next door. Didn't want any problems so I didn't approach the smokers. You would think, common courtesy.

Ralphs is just across the road for food & drink purchases.Smallish pool but nice to relax in after a long day touring around. Small breakfast area which appears to be standard in the US.Good parking facilities.Would have no problem staying again.

Review 98：Parking was tight! I got back to the hotel around 10:30pm and there wasone space left in the back parking lot on the other side of the hotel.Keep in mind this was a Saturday night during the summer, too, and themotel is right next to Denny's which was very busy, so it'spossible that some Denny's patrons took some of the Comfort Innspaces (even though each was clearly marked). The next morning therewere cars parked along the curb on the side of the building in the backby those folks who couldn't find a parking space.

Review 99：My room was clean and looked as though it had been renovatedrecently; it was tastefully furnished. It was as nice as, if notbetter, than some rooms in "better" hotels in whichI've stayed, and had a fridge and microwave. It was in a goodlocation, too, just down the street from a supermarket, a Starbucks,and a short drive to other restaurants on Ventura Blvd. Easy accessto the 101. I was in too much of a hurry to take advantage of thebreakfast but it looked as though there was a good selection ofitems. The area seemed like a good area, too.

Review 100：We select this inn because of the advertised heated pool. It was notheated. Called the manager and he said he would let the pool guy know.On our 3rd day, the pool was still cold and the filter was not on, thewater was dirty and dirt on the bottom of the pool. We still were notable to use the pool for our water aerobics or even enjoy the pool.

Review 127：Stayed 2 nights at this hotel during a vacation with family. We start looking for hotels 30 days prior to our intended stay dates. Given its is summer and we are in California, needless to say most places around LA were sold out or too expensive. We were looking for an affordable alternative place close to Universal Studios and this was a great option. According to Google or GPS navigation this place is just about 20 minutes away from Universal Studios, but once again we are in LA so consider the traffic delay of an extra 15-20 minutes to your commutting plans. Woodland Hills is a nice city/neighborhood and there are plenty of restaurants options in the 5 minute driving range. Pool at the hotel was something really pleasant to enjoy in the evening when returning from the tours/park.

The surface cleaning hadbeen done, but the facility was tired, could use some attention. Therewere only 2 bath towels and we had 4 people so got 2 towels from thepool as it was convenient. The room was dark as well. We had a non-smoking room, but it was right next to and above smoking rooms so themoment we opened our door and walked in the hallway we were hit with it.
