Review 1：Staff were less than welcoming. Expensive. There is nothing around, except for wineries, course.

Review 6：The breakfast in the morning is outstanding. The Spa Facility is the most relaxing I have been to in a long time. The fireplace in the room is a nice bonus. The beds are comfortable.

Review 7：Our room was near the road so in the morning quite early it was very noisy. Not sure there is anything that could be done about it but perhaps having thicker windows on the large window close to the road. Also, there wasn't enough toilet paper or kleenex.

Review 11：I visited this hotel in early December, it was really chilly outside so we had to turn on the heating system. Unfortunately, the room's heating system was of poor quality and it immediately dried the air, resulting in an uncomfortable environment.

Review 14：The Villagio Inn and Spa was fabulous! My best friend and I needed to get away and relax, and they made it easy. We felt very pampered - the staff was great! The rooms were comfortable, the Spa was amazing, and the brunch and tea-time were delicious.

Review 20：The Villagio is a standard resort hotel right at the beginning of famous Yountville. It has rooms on two levels. The layout is garden style. The pool area is nice.

Review 21：Booking.com reserved a room with no appropriate accommodation for a couple with 2 small kids. In general I have come to the conclusion that Booking.com needs to change its approach and handling of famiy with kids. Our previous stay in NYC at the Gramercy Park Hotel was a disaster at USD 550,-- per room and day. I think in gerera a more in depth conversation has to take place. Egon Mauss

Review 24：A lovely room and spa facilities. The concierge was extremely helpful in making dinner and wine tasting reservations. Also, we enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and high tea in the afternoon. Pretty heated pool to swim, read and relax , just as a spa should be!

Review 30：My husband wasn't feeling well so we asked for a plain sandwich on regular bread (any kind). They wouldn't do it. We could only get a sandwich on a crossoint even though they had regular bread. They wouldn't do anything differently than the menu stated. Kinda sucked because it was late. He ended up going to the hospital the next day - not that that was the hotels fault but would have been nice if he could have eaten something that was easy on his stomach first. For this reason we will go to bardassono next time

Review 41：When I arrived after a long day of travel, I was escorted to my room, way at the back of the property and overlooking a parking lot. Disappointed, I called the front desk, but alas the inn was full.... I was told in two days another option should open up, but there was never any follow-up to this. That night, I learned my room ALSO was right next to a major highway, and for the next three nights I was roused continuously throughout the night by the screaming engines of trucks and cars passing by on the highway. I mentioned this at the front desk the next day, in a nice way, but once again there was no effort to fix the problem. Very disappointing, and it cast a shadow over my entire experience there.

There were so many rooms that would have felt nicer-especially if you want to use your patio/balcony. Our area felt a bit like an overpriced Motel-dirty and as if we were in the "bargain" area.
