Colourful Manor is situated above the seaside town of Gordon’s Bay in pretty, natural surroundings. This luxury lodge offers contemporary rooms, free Wi-Fi and panoramic sea views.
This small lodge offers 15 beautifully presented guest rooms, all with a modern bathroom featuring a rain shower. All of the rooms have a private terrace with great views over the mountains and False Bay.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served buffet style each morning. Other meals can also be requested and there is an honesty bar for guests to use.
Leisure facilities at the lodge include an outdoor swimming pool and barbeque area. Colourful Manor is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding Winelands, Hermanus and Franschoek.

Review 1：No air-conditioning in the room and linen was worn out. Old energy intensive lights are used in rooms. We had 2 single beds next to each other which is not ideal.

Review 3：1. The room had no Fan or air con, 2. The room did not have a refrigerator, 3. The room had no radio or television set, 4. There was no dressing table with a mirror and chair, 5. No proper seating was provided for in the room, only 1 uncomfortable chair, 6. There was no hanging space in the closet, only shelving, 7. The shower had no door and there was no shelve to place toiletries, 8. The room had no luggage stand, 9. The was not a safe in the room, 10. The room was small, 11. Breakfast provided was limited, and included un-toasted bread, eggs, fruit, 1 piece of bacon, juice and tea/coffee, 12. The lodge is not conveniently located and is far from all amenities. 13. Review 5：I loved the friendly staff and the peaceful atmosphere at Colorful Manor. It was my second visit in the space of 2 weeks and will definitely go again.

Review 6：The beds were 2 single beds put together , which made sleeping a little uncomfortable . There were no intertainment channels ( like movie channels playing ) it was only sports and news channels .

Review 10：Access road to the manor was on a dirt track. our double room, was two single beds pushed together. water out of the taps was yellow, probably due to grey water or rain water harvesting, which is great, but no bottled drinking water was provided in the room. We visited in autumn and the room was quite cold in the evening with no heating available.

Review 12：We have booked a room with sea view (False bay) and mountain view. We payed for this room in advance. When we arrived we didn't get the booked room - we got a room only with mountain view. Many discussions with the stuff followed. During our stay it couldn't been cleared up why the booked room was given to other people. I was very angry about the fact that I have payed for a room that I didn't get. Finally the stuff regulated the problem through the price for the room. Review 13：- finally beds that are long enough for me!! - very stylish design - quiet countryside setting (I would suggest to put GPS location on this website to make it easier to find)

Review 34：The website is way to promising. The rooms are very hot and impossible to sleep under a thick winter quilt. Airconditioning would have been good instead of the annoyingly noisy cheap fan. Very simple breakfast. Owners are not committed to please their guests. A pity, our stay wasn’t meeting our expectations at all .... :-(
