Review 1：Just the bed was very uncomfortable and at entry manager shouted at me for coming late.

Review 2：I like that it was nice and secluded which was very nice and romantic.

Review 3：Nice view to the bay from breakfast room, big bedroom, everything is there. Very nice african interieur in our room. In summer probably even better with pool and bar. Nice and helpfull owners which learned us, what a full english breakfast is. Smile and thanks.

Review 4：comfortable room with spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Staff very friendly and accommodating - a problem with the bathroom light was rectified immediately. I liked the fact that every room has a separate entrance as this allows for privacy and you can come and go as you please.

Review 6：We stayed over for 1 night as we went to see a show in Gordon's Bay. Our room was clean and had all the basic amenities. The Full English Breakfast was the highlight.

Review 7：This is a great place to spend a few days to explore beaches and the wine route. They make a full English brekkie that is on point. There is a fabulous view from the breakfast room. The rooms are tidy and fine for a short stay. Easy drive to the airport.

Review 8：1... the lady didn't empty the waste paper baskets the one day. So there were teabags from the day before still there. 2 ... the second roll of loo paper wasn't perforated, so I battled to tear of a piece.

Review 10：The steep climb up to the property meant we pensioners did not contemplate walking down to the sea front. However there was easy parking at the sea front. Occupant of next room had to walk close to our window along the deck where we might be sitting to exit his room - was pleased to have net curtains. Long walk round building for breakfast unless we passed through the kitchen

Review 16：My elderly mother and her sister stayed here. The location was not ideal for the elderly who cannot walk far and have no transport. It is back from the sea on the side of the mountain.

Review 18：I loved my room (No 5) from the moment I saw it. The bed is new and very comfortable. Gordon's Bay is a sleepy fishing town and I chose it for some peace and quiet, which is exactly what I got, just to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The walk up the steep street (Boundary Road) offered much needed exercise. I loved walking in the residential streets as well as Beach Road. The full English breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient, going out of their way to ensure the comfort of guests. The view from the dining room balcony towards Table Mountain and the sea is breath-taking. The harbour (home to the Navy College and the Gordon's Bay Yacht Club) and Bikini Beach just beyond were wonderful "finds" and the marina on the other side of the long white beach, home of the Gordon's Bay Boat Angling Club were just as excellent a find. At the guest house I found the service excellent and as my stay was rather long (one full month), I appreciated the laundry service. The bar fridge in the room is great, the tea and coffee making facility is much appreciated. The weather was still on the cool side (September) but next time I will enjoy the heated swimming pool. The grounds around the guest house abound with flora - palm trees, bougainvillea, pot plants, creating a peaceful atmosphere. I don't like to live out of a suitcase and always unpack everything, so the large wardrobe was excellent. Lots of shelves for my hats and toiletries. A chest where I could put my laptop in one of the drawers, out of the way but within easy access. I am not a TV person, and the channels are few but there is DSTV in the main house, all you need to do is ask the owners to channel a program through for you. Winston, the Anatolian shepherd is a reserved dog and it is easy to be around him. Thank you to the owners Jim, Joy and Christine for a lovely stay. Thank you to Sheila for cleaning my room and doing my laundry.
