Reviews for The Vintage Inn
Review 1:The noise level was a little high. Not much you could do about it though, our neighbors were up very late and were outside being VERY loud!we could also here the guests upstairs.
Review 2:We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. We loved the fireplace in the room, having a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us in the room, the complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious, yummy bloody mary, and I forgot my brush and the front desk tracked down a small comb and had it delivered for me!! Great service!
Review 3:The place is absolutely marvelous. Super attentive staff, beautiful location, super clean and luxurious rooms. The breakfast is wonderful with champagne included. Double Thumbs up to a good start!!!! The comfort of the bead is like your in heaven. Free wifi in your room with Jacuzzi and L'Occitane products. Total Luxury!!!!
Review 4:We loved the location and beauty of The Vintage Inn. It was so quaint and our room was spacious with comfortable beds and a fireplace. It was very clean and the setting is very tranquil. They include a wonderful breakfast and newspaper each day, as well as a bottle of wine upon arrival. It was a great place to stay!
Review 5:Cozy & warm. Staff super. Loved the breakfasts and teas, the fireplace, the nicely remodeled bathroom, location-walk to everything. Room had all the creature comforts. Again, staff was amazing, and so accommodating..
Review 6:Nothing. We loved our room, the location, the grounds. It was such a wonderful visit!!!
Review 7:We were given a bag of treats for our dog when we checked in. The brunch was delicious. The staff was all very attentive and friendly!!!
Review 8:The stairs near our room that lead to the second floor are really noisy. It was pretty bad and I have never noticed this before. there was gardening work on the property while we were there. The smell of fertilizer was a little much each time we came back to our room.
Review 9:I love the location and the hotel the feel of the hotel. The breakfast is great. I think the hotel is pretty.
Review 10:They initially said we would be on the ground floor because we booked on line. After talking to the manager I was provided a higher level floor. We like a higher level to sit out on the deck in privacy. Not sure why I was given a ground floor room because I booked on line vs. through the hotel. I paid $600/night for the room!!! Then we found out the room we were moved to had no tub, just a shower and was small compared to rooms we've had in our past stays. They moved us when we complained.
Review 11:Love the breakfast buffet and tea in the afternoon. Staff very nice and helpful. Location in Yountville great since there are so many wonderful restaurants there.
Review 12:nothing
Review 13:This hotel is an incredible find. The staff is friendly and professional. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise of pastries, omelettes, coffee, and more. Beds super comfortable and bath spacious and clean.
Review 14:Breakfast buffet was the best! Gourmet bread pudding, great coffee, champagne and omelet station....Perfection. Rooms were romantic bungalow style, with your own deck and patio furniture, and fireplace
Review 15:There is nothing bad to say.
Review 16:This hotel was wonderful! The location was great, the staff were all very friendly, the property was beautiful, and the breakfast was amazing! I will definitely go back again!
Review 17:loved the grounds and the location. The staff was gracious, helpful and cheerful. Room was beautifully appointed and clean. Breakfast was the very best one could hope for.
Review 18:The beds are some of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in. The staff is cheerful, friendly and accommodating. The grounds are quiet and peaceful.
Review 19:The price
Review 20:When visiting Yountville, we always choose the Vintage Inn. It's consistent quality of service, surroundings, and convenience, keeps us coming back. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed and most very quiet.
Review 21:I liked the room, the garden and the opportunity to sit outside on my verandah. The breakfast was good also. The concierge was very helpful and friendly.
Review 22:We loved everything about The Vintage Inn. The rooms were lovely, the staff was helpful, the tea was delightful, the breakfast was yummy - especially the english muffins and homemade raspberry jam!
Review 23:i had sent an email prior to my trip via booking.com but i didn't get a reply. also, it was stated in the room description that there would be a hot tub which i was really looking forward to. however, there wasn't one in the room. sadly i only realised this when i checked out and when i quizzed the receptionist, her response was that perhaps the description was out-dated as they had recently done some renovations. the last point isn't really a criticism, but more of an observation. when i was booking the room, there were only 2 rooms available. i took the smaller room which came with 2 queen size beds. for 2 people, this was obviously way too big... but i didn't mind and proceeded to book anyway. During my stay it seemed like the hotel was not that crowded after all and made me wonder why it had seemed to be represented online that everything was about to get fully booked.
Review 24:The room was of a very high quality. i assure you, once you lie down on the bed you won't wanna get up! Location was great too like most hotels in Yountville.
Review 25:Such a cute little town. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants! Beautiful flowers, immaculate sidewalks. The rooms are very relaxing - awesome HUGE shower. Employees are very helpful and welcoming.
Review 26:Nothing
Review 27:Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a fire every night. Complimentary bottle of wine in our room and an expresso machine. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in!
Review 28:Be careful to request rooms away from Hwy 29.
Review 29:Smaller, but luxury appointments make the Vintage Inn a winner in Napa Valley lodging. Included breakfast buffet is a big cut above typical B&B offerings. Staff is attentive but unobtrusive.
Review 30:Perfect location in the heart of Napa, across the street from the best restaurants. Service is amazing, they upgraded our room for free & have an amazing brunch every day with mimosas & bloody Mary's, for free! The rooms are beautiful & very romantic with a jacuzzi & wood burning fireplace. Can't recommend this place enough!!!!
Review 31:Always a great deal and smiling staff . Luxurious beddings and newly renovated rooms. It was a fantastic stay. Jeff the hotel manager and Alyx checked us in and they were more than fantastic . Stayed over the weekday
Review 32:We absolutely loved the grounds at the Vintage Inn and in fact found that Yountville as a town was very pretty and well kept. Room was very spacious and lots of restaurants etc were within walking distance. We appreciated having the breakfast included.
Review 33:The staff were less than helpful in recommending restaurants in the area and in one case downright rude and gave us inaccurate information which caused us to search for something that it was not possible to find given that the staff gave us the wrong name!!
Review 34:The hotel was beautiful, clean and well laid out with lovely gardens etc. Afternoon tea was excellent as was the breakfast..
Review 35:All was good!!!
Review 36:This was our 1st time at the Vintage Inn & it certainly will be our go to place while visiting wine country!!! The staff was so friendly & always greeted us where ever we went whether it was on sidewalk on way to breakfast, dining room at breakfast plus cleaning ladies. The room we had was on 2nd floor overlooking a pretty fountain & the bed provided a great nights sleep for the 3 nights we were there-- We hated to leave. Of course, like other comments the location was good, close & walking distant to some of the best dining places & lunch places.
Review 37:A little loud due to being located to the busy through street.
Review 38:The rooms are spacious, bathrooms comfortable. Besides the usual complimentary coffee and tea they even have a Nespresso machine to brew fresh espresso. Awesome! The gardens are beautiful and very well kept.
Review 39:Guests in unit above us were very noisy on their deck when we tried to sit outside on our patio.
Review 40:Room was very nice, comfortable, adequate size, and clean. Breakfast was great. Pool area was nice. Location was awesome. Housekeeping staff was great. Loved the cats!
Review 41:Absolutely nothing.
Review 42:Love the room layout with the fireplace and private patio area allocated for each room. Bathrooms were a great size and loved the two shower option. The grounds were beautiful and immaculate. I also love the wood flooring in room over carpet as it feels cleaner. The complimentary breakfast was way more than I had expected and delicious...mimosas too...awesome :0)
Review 43:The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable, everything else was fantastic.
Review 44:Coincerge could be better.
Review 45:Included breakfast, gave us a room upgrade, coffee and wine tasting in the lobby.

Review 93:The location, accommodations, breakfast in the morning, and the staff
Review 94:The breakfast was sensational & included I the price of the room. The staff was pleasant & the concierge Catherine had great tips & was ver informative. She was fantastic!!
Review 95:Construction roadwork was loud during the night for our room location on second floor. Our friends who stayed on first floor below us, heard nothing. We realize this was probably just unfortunate timing and not a continual problem.
Review 96:Very nice place with charm and well kept. Breakfast buffet was incredibly nice!
Review 97:Hard to fault. Very well located in Yountville. The rooms were comfortable, very well appointed, probably luxurious. The service was exemplary and breakfasts were excellent. This comes at a cost but that is to be expected.
Review 98:Staff was nice but a bit odd We asked where we could get dessert and we're directed to a place that had closed hours earlier
Review 99:Great location Nice touch with afternoon tea Breakfast also surprisingly nice with mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar
Review 100:First floor corner Rm 200, ex rm location per request. Clean, nice size rm & bath area. Exc. breakfast. Everyone very pleasant. Over the years have stayed several times/plan to spend more time over the coming yrs.
Review 101:Slatted patio tables where we ate breakfast were somewhat uncomfortable. Although room was in fine condition, air smelled a little stale and could benefit from some aromatherapy.
Review 102:Beds very comfortable. Loved the whirlpool tub and fireplace. Excellent breakfast. Grounds very beautiful. Overall pleasant stay and a perfect base for exploring Napa Valley.
Review 103:I loved this hotel. I was concerned about noise after reading some other reviews but there was no issue with foot traffic noise from our room. The staff were friendly and the amenities top notch. The champagne brunch was wonderful. We didn't get to enjoy any of the spa services at their sister property, The Villagio but if I stay there again I would certainly want to. It's a bit spendy but the luxury was worth it to me since I don't often get to take a break from work.
Review 104:Found a long hair under a towel, spiders in the bathroom at night, and the sink closest to the bathtub was sluggish (clogged)
Review 105:Location, staff was friendly, fantastic bed with fireplace, fast wifi
Review 106:No elevators to the 2nd floor. The ceiling light in the main room/bed room could be a little brighter. It was a little dim at night, even with all the lights on.
Review 107:Location and overall look of the property.
Review 108:The location and the staff were excellent. We never had to move our car. Everything was in walking distance! The complimentary champagne breakfast was amazing. This will be where we'll stay in Yountville from now on!
Review 109:Slow internet speed for business use. We were not informed at the front desk that a $100 deposit for any damages would be billed to our charge card and then credited back later.
Review 110:Nice, clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast. Good overall value.
Review 111:Location of room in back experienced highway traffic and re cycling noise
Review 112:Fantastic location Great staff
Review 113:Thought we were getting a spa tub and room only had a shower. No tub at all.
Review 114:Wonderful atmosphere!!
Review 115:We loved the inn and it was just the perfect location for our stay in wine country
