Review 1：A little bit far from everything, but if you are looking for some days of relaxation it is perfect.

Review 2：The place was incredible, a paradisiac private beach, the atmosphere was really relaxing. The bungalows are fantastic, very well designed and equipped to make your stay the best experience possible.

Review 3：Very poor service in the restaurant for all meals. Breakfast very sad with a weird selection. I've never seen hot food cooked then just left out to go cold?! Service terrible, staff just standing around chatting, you had to go & ask them to clear dirty plates. Served me the wrong dish for dinner, apologised but in no way didn't offer to change/rectify it- a sort of "tough luck" attitude. Restaurant was so bad we paid for a taxi the next 2 nights to eat elsewhere. At breakfast I asked for some fresh bacon as what little was in the buffet looked congealed & disgusting. I was told chef is angry and won't do it. But then 20 minutes after asking chef had very generously offered to do it. Shame I had finished.Evening shuttle is only free if you eat at their restaurant in town which is quite frankly a joke. Considering the amount you pay it should be free or it would be less offensive to not offer it at all. Why you would want to travel to town to eat at their restaurant is beyond me. If the on site restaurant was any good you'd be happy to stay there and eat.There are many finer points advertised that are in our experience non existent such as; Welcome drink- we didn't receive one.Pool advertised as an infinity pool which although designed as one it isn't since the water level is about 6 inches shy of the level needed. Sauna & steam room always locked and appear to be used as storage. No pool service- you have to go & order at the restaurant bar then sure they'll bring it but again, won't clear anything away. "Swim up bar"? Utterly fictional. No yoga sessions we complained about this point in particular as it was a deciding factor in us choosing the resort. (Mr Tang did then organise s/thing especially for us but he had to fight for it on our behalf). Granted these are small points but that is what you pay the extra money for. If they don't exist don't advertise them- Simple.

Review 4：The private beach and grounds were spotless. Room was beautifully decorated. Plus, on arrival they had done a lovely job decorating ours with petals since it was our honeymoon. Thang on reception & a couple of other staff were very helpful. Also, a new lady whose name we didn't get. Think a customer relations manager but she was powerless to do anything.

Review 5：Booked a Garden View bungalow that wasn't a Bungalow, it was more like a set of rooms facing a block of other rooms (no garden view) with no balcony. The food is over priced for what it is. A little bit out of the way but offered a bus service every evening so not too bad.

Review 9：The drain in the shower blocked and we needed to remove the drain so the water could flow during the shower. The black-outs don't block almost any light, but the bed is so comfortable that we can sleep anyway.

Review 10：The staff received us with a warm welcome and since then they always treated us on the best. The Hotel provided us bicycles and/or a shuttle to go to the beach or to the restaurant.

Review 11：The bathroom on standard room is a bit smelly. Maybe because of the humid weather. Window Couldn't close as well. But it wasn't a problem since we choose this place because we love the nature as it present.

Review 12：Close to the beach. Free pick up at airport if staying 3 days or more. Free use of kayak. Pool is clean. If the hotel is full and ppl showering same time,the water can be a problem. Beautiful location with private beach, plants n flowers are everywhere. Politely staff. The driver who pick us up at the airport show us around for free on our way to the hotel. Breakfast 7-9 am

Review 13：Staff's english skills are very limited. Staff does not have respect for customer's privacy: 2-3 people were standing next to our table every time we were eating. It was very stressful, we could not relax at all. Dinners in their restaurant were disappointing every time. Breakfasts ok, but very inconvenient time frames: from 7.00 to 9.00. We were happy to check out and leave.

Review 14：Swimming pool. Hotel's area in general - beautiful and green. Room was great, with big balcony, view over the garden & sea and well equipped.

Review 15：Our phones for some reason didn't want to connect with their wifi, so we had no internet during our stay. Although it was a little annoying it was also really nice - avoiding a lot of disturbances!

Review 20：I liked this hotel very much! Quiet and romantic place. We had 2 rooms with river view. Cozy rooms in natural style, bathroom with huge bath and live plants. A hammock on the terrace gives additional rest. Friendly, helpful personnel. Gorgeous restaurant, - BBQ scallops – the best I’ve ever tasted. Nice breakfasts with fresh fruits and tasty pancakes. Len, Capitan of the restaurant, really helped us many times. Wi-fi on the whole territory. Highly-highly recommend this hotel for quiet and enjoyable vacation!

Review 24：The most relaxing stay possible. Idyllic location and excellent service led by the Tom. Good food and assistance with exploring the island and elsewhere. Hammocks on your patio are a nice touch! It is located on a private beach and ideal for relaxation. We would definitely visit again.

Review 25：The worst thing about this hotel it`s discrepancy between description on this website and reality. People, do not believe the description which you read about this hotel: 1. There is nothing you can find near by, except jungles. You need motorbike to reach everything. Be careful, the nightmarket is about 15kilmeters far from the hotel. 2. There is no night market, island and etc near. , microvawe, bicycle and even bath which is on a balcony does n`t have hot water. Tiny swiming pool. 3. Breakfast is according the menu.\ 4. There is About 7 or 8 kilometers to the South from the hotel located huge dump (junkyard) where local people incinerating the garbage from whole island 24/7. So you can feel smoke quite often. 5. Dangerous and dark room numbers and pavement from the reception to them. There is a step even in a room toward a toilet. 6. Beach doesn`t safe due to huge number of crawfish and jellyfish.

Review 40：I booked this because the other high end resort /hotels were full. it turned out to be in a class of its own; (I visited two of the principal resorts on the main 'strip'). Chez Carole was nestled into a verdant hillside overlooking a shallow swimable bay and creek as well as an infinity pool that caught the sea breeze and around which we dined one night. Exotic,comfortable and innovatively designed rooms/houses ( only 6 at the moment) with discreet varandas onto the beautifully tended gardens sloping down to the sea. Because it's 15 kms out of town, all the staff are not English speaking and occasionally communication is a problem. They make up for it, however, with charm. All services/trips etc are available. Food was very good. The nearby beaches are much better than those on the main strip.
