Review 1：Fire exit, on building did not work! Key access lock prevented us from leaving the building! Very unsafe. No staff available for 20 minutes at the front desk to check out and notify that the building exit did not work properly.

Review 3：Facility is old. Price was ridiculous. There were so many people staying there we couldn't even get breakfast. Had to go to a restaurant. Would not stay there again.

Review 4：Your description indicated that this was a hotel, which is what we thought we were paying for. Upon arrival, however, it was immediately evident that it was a motel. "Drive around back to get to your room." Misleading advertising for an overpriced motel room.

Review 6：Cigarette smell thru the vent in the bathroom. Always. Toilet didn't flush well and would take 2-3 times. Strange loud vacuum noise each morning about 6 a.m. made it hard to sleep.

Review 12：Noisy room....and it wasn't the other guests mostly...it was the maid, rolling up and down and up and down, and the street noise. There was a gap in the door that I literally could see though to the outside. On the first floor...heard all sorts of noises. Place was just blah, nothing special at all. Kind of felt like I was at the jersey shore.

Review 17：I was happily surprised to find a microwave and fridge in the room. That was a huge convenience and makes me want to make this my go to hotel in the future. Check in and out was fast and friendly.Everything was easily accessible.

Review 26：If you are looking for something affordable and don't plan to spend much time at the hotel, this will do. Consider upgrade to king bed as it seems those rooms come with small fridge which can store snacks, beverages, etc

Review 27：Front desk area and breakfast room very clean and bright. The rooms are showing age. The beds disappointing--talked to several other guests and they had the same experience: the mattresses showed their age and need replacements. All expressed how the beds essentially depressed towards the center and did not provide appropriate support on each half of the bed. A major disappointment--the start of the new summer season and the facility could not replace worn mattresses.

Review 31：Mostly everything. Shocked that this place rates a 7.5. First, it's a motel and not a hotel. Nothing against that, but it needs elevators for second floor rooms. It is old and dirty and in bad need of renovations. Floor creeked, uneven, and felt like you would fall through it in spots. Bathroom tiles chipped and dirty. Old dispensers for soap and shampoo, no containers. Channel changer for TV didn't work. Twin beds only. For $220 per night, we only stayed here because of limited availability elsewhere. Have stayed at a lot of hotels, and this was about the worst. Can only recall one other stay worse than it. Don't pay over $80 a night for this place - it isn't worth it.

Review 36：I booked this hotel since it was under the pet friendly hotels listed. I went to the front dest that morning to make sure everything was fine since my son would be arriving in the afternoon. The next day he had a phone call from front desk demanding to know if he had a dog in the room. I went to the front desk where the manager told me my son was not in a pet appropriate room. I told her I booked in online under the impression it was a pet friendly hotel. She told me I was supposed to have called the hotel since they only had 4 rooms for dogs! I told her I didnt' know that and it wasn't shown on their site to do so. She was amazingly rude as I was filling out paperwork - I signed it first and she pointed out I hadn't filled it in yet! I don't need someone telling me how to fill out a form.

Review 59：I did not stay/sleep at the hotel for the following reasons: 1) We were given a set of keys, they did not work 2) We were given a new set of keys, these did not work either 3) When I went back to the desk clerk, he said that he would place me in another room. He gave me a new set of keys, these opened to a smoking room. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room. I returned the key, and left the room. it smelled horrible.

If you choose to book here, I would request a room that is not beside the highway. When I read that it was a 5 minute walk from shopping and restaurants, I assumed that meant the historical part, which is still only a 15 minute drive. However, that was obviously referring to the business district. The tub could have been cleaned better.
