Review 1：When we arrived, one of the rooms were not ready. The receptionist did not offer an apology and was rude when we complained. We asked to speak to the manager. We are still waiting for him to show himself.

Review 2：The location. The guesthouse is comfortable and the stay could have been very nice if it was not for the staff.

Review 3：The location was perfect close to medi clinic durbanville. Safe parking staff very accommodating. My daughter needed to go into hospital earlier than expected and the guesthouse had no problem in wavering her booking for this reason. Thank you very much to all concerned.

Review 4：Not much to dislike.minor minor gripe was the removal of pool side cushions on the last 3 nights but not sure why that was. Possibly too polite to ask us to keep it down while we sat having a drink at night time poolside. But it wasn't a big problem.

Review 5：Absolutely loved this guest house/apartments. The rooms were big and very well equipped with tv, kettle,mini fridge,towels,etc. But the staff were the real gem . They were so polite and attentive and did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay here. Special thanks to Rocashana for her help and hospitality. Breakfast was great and you have 5 choices. Location is great and you can walk to shopping centre in 5 mins. Drive to Cape Town city centre about 25 mins. 5 star rating definitely .

Review 6：I packed all my luggage before breakfast left everything including my handbag in the room and on my return someone was already cleaning the room. Surely this get done when the key is handed in.

Review 9：Being winter....stepping into and warm 'home' with the under floor heating. Loved the spacious bathroom and lights. Friendly welcome and warm hearted people.

Review 12：There was a huge party on Saturday morning from 4 am to 8 am in one of the rooms, which meant we could not sleep during this time. This was not what was to be expected!!

Review 16：Our stay was brilliant. We booked for self catering and were upgraded to B&B at no extra cost. We loved the room. Extremely comfortable bed, heated floors and electric blankets. The service was excellent and all the employees very helpful and courteous.

Review 17：The steps in the room were a little bit tricky for my arthritic knees, but would be no problem for a 'normal' person. None of the steps anywhere had handrails - for example up to the dining room.

The room itself was fantastic, very clean, comfy bed, underfloor heating was a bonus and bathroom was neat and tidy with everything in its place. Review 20：Cold room, mezanine upper level noisey. Breakfast not in cluded in price and quite expensive, especially for young kids not eating much. Do not like 2 levels, prefer one level.

Review 22：I requested a flat sheet for the bed and it was not provided. On arrival I was informed that they do not have flat sheets. I would have thought that they could have let me know prior to my arrival that they could not provide a flat sheet, and I would have brought one. Alternatively they could have bought one themselves.

Review 25：booked long ago 4 rooms and there was still confusion about booking. Beds were very bad. One room did not have window.

Review 27：The bed is very soft, the towels feel very old and “used”. The luxury room that we had booked had the plugs off and the staff did not know how to get it back on. We then had to go into a standard room, but were offered no partial refund. The breakfast was so-so. Some other guests came in at 4am and were so noisy that they woke up everyone as the rooms are in fairly close proximity

Review 28：The guesthouse is well located if you have a function on one of the wine estates in Durbanville, otherwise it is at the far end of this big suburb. The staff were very friendly, although they were not always able to assist.

Review 31：Whilst this may not impact the rating of the place, I think the cutlery and crockery were insufficient. Also whilst not being charged for the washing of dishes as I did them myself, there was a notice up that there will be a charge of R30 per day if you wanted the dishes wash. I found that a bit odd as compared to other establishments. Maybe this is the trend being adopted by establishments.

Review 33：We book a twin room and we where given a the medium self catering apartment because the receptionist wanted to accommodate everyone during the busy season,and we where fine with that. Problem was the bed base squeaked with ever movement we made,so we couldn't sleep,plus she neglected to tell us that the self catering apartment had no Dstv unlike the guest house rooms. So the stay was very disappointing.

Review 35：Kolping is in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. The facilities are beautiful and contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff members are professional, friendly and helpful.

Review 37：We missed breakfast which we thought ended at 11am like most places. Not really their fault but would be nice if it could be later. The lady at reception when we checked out was a bit stern and seemed annoyed at us. Very different from the welcome Shaun gave us.
