We were welcomed with a drink, had amazing staff support the entire stay and enjoyed the restaurant and the pool, not to mention free and easy to access wifi (an open network without a login - how refreshing)! To make everything better, the price was incredible.

Review 39：I arrived quite late at the hotel from an international flight. The hotel is literally 5 minutes away from the airport. They have a shuttle that runs; but I chose to get a taxi from one of the local airport taxi drivers, which was 250ZAR. I thought this was a good price, until the hotel arranged for a taxi in the morning at 150! Soooo- my first tip- if you prefer a cab above a shuttle- arrange it through the hotel. The lobby is decorated very festively. Check in was easy- all the staff were so friendly! Loved my room;it was huge;big bathroom; coffee and tea facilities; free bottled water; free wifi; aircon, etc. I had an issue with the plug in my room and was unable to charge any of my devices- if I had stayed longer I would have asked to move to another room. The cost of the room was just over 1000ZAR; this did not include breakfast. There's free coffee and water in the lobby :-) I would recommend this hotel;for transit it was perfect for me!

Review 40：There had been delays in many flights coming into OR Tambo that day and many airlines had given passengers vouchers to stay at hotels close to the airport. We had booked 6 months in advance but we had to stand in a long Q for the shuttle (more than 30 minutes - only one van running). Then when we arrived at the hotel the Q to check in was out of the door. We had to STAND and wait an hour to check in. Staff did not offer a cooldrink, a coffee or anything for waiting guests. And the whole restaurant was empty. We could have been seated to wait. We eventually got to our room at 1am in the morning from a flight that landed at 10.30am. Perhaps the check in system needs to be reviewed for situations like this in order to speed it up?!

The only thing on the olatter that was fine was the wings and jalapeno rissoles The maghareta pizza I ordered for my kids never arrived...when I queried this the waiter who took the order was on lunch and nobody knew about it

Review 47：the cleanliness was not great. The dishes in the hall stayed out for atlest 24 hours, and the pool area didnt have anyone to pick up bottles. they also had some function that went on til past 12 at night, and spilled out into the car park. with car revving and alot of noise.

Review 52：Breakfast does not start until 6.30, which isn't particularly helpful for travellers leaving on early morning flights. I would presume that the majority of people staying here are travellers so I'm sure providing an early breakfast would benefit many people. Also, having handed over my card for payment, the receptionist proceeded to give the card machine with my card in it to another guest who was also paying for her room. They only discovered the error when she became confused as to why her pin was not working. Luckily my card was not blocked as that would definitely have ruined the start of my holiday. Finally, two single beds pushed together are not the same as a double bed.

I was in a room with an interleading door and the noise in the next room was very loud at 1am so did not sleep well. The room service meal was atrocious and the worst I have ever had. Check in was a nightmare at a crowded reception desk with at least 20 people crowding round the reception and the service was slow. Overall, quite a different experience from my last stay where the manager went out of his way to make my stay excellent. I will not use the hotel again.

The hotel is not in a very attractive location but is very convenient for the airport, with free and frequent transfers running in both directions. Review 100：We had wanted to pay cash and did so on arrival. However in the morning the reception satff apologised profusely that they had also accidently charged our credit card. They of course refunded the cash. This did not detract from our visit and we will use the hotel again.

Review 101：The hotel is superb. It is just a few minutes riade on the shuttle bus from the coutesy bus drop off point nera arrivals. We were travelling to the Kruger National Park and having arrived from the Uk at 9.45 pm need a place to overnight before collectiung our hire car. A shuttle bus goes every 30 minutes from the airport to and from the hotel. The reception process was quick and soon we were in our huge, clean and comfortable room. The bar was open serving good quality bar meals even at 11.00pm! You could even buy a packed breakfast to take away the next day from reception. Check out was straight forward with the first bus back to the airport leaving at 5.00am.

It was also very helpful that the hotel provided a shuttle bus to and from the airport that left every half an hour. It was very organised! The hotel also had a booth at the airport with staff who could tell us where to go to catch the shuttle (a small walk across the road). The hotel was very modern and comfortable. We were greeted by friendly staff and a refreshing beverage soon arrival. The room was very comfortable and clean. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and will reccomend this hotel to friends!
