Review 1：The motel is beyond run down. It would be a wonderful location for a chain to come in and tear the motel down and construct a new hotel which is too bad... I like funky little motels if they are clean and charming. This one was not charming, and not all that clean. And the towels were very, very small.

Review 48：This motel had all the amenities of other more expensive rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the retro feeling of a ma and pa place. The a.c. worked well. The room had no musty odor. The view outside the front door was a glorious mountain.

Review 53：The hotel boasts the drive time is about 20 min from Virginia Tech. This is a false statement. If you are trying to cut costs, the gas spent going back and forth from school to hotel will eat up any savings you think you made with the hotel's very inexpensive per night rate. The bathroom is outdated, but that's wasn't a big issue for either my husband nor myself since we're a little old fashion ourselves. The larger issue is the lack of ANY hot water, if you decide to take a shower in the early morning.

Review 54：The bed seemed clean but I am a little weary of being absolutely certain. The air conditioner worked well. The refrigerator, after you plugged it in, worked fine.

Review 58：Right off of the highway. I was given a wrong exit number, but once that confusion was straightened out and had to leave for supplies, finding the place couldn't have been easier. So, easy to find. Cheap, the room didn't cost alot of money and it was going to be an over night stay anyway, so I'm glad I didn't spend alot.
