Reviews for Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe

Review 1:Location was Great and the amenities of the resort were easily accessible. Loved all the shops and didn't need to use our car! Free shuttle to town. People were very friendly. And most important, skiing was top notch!!

Review 2:Received confirmation for a 1 bedroom deluxe suite. Only after receiving confirmation from Booking.com, secured 4 airline tickets. Was contacted by property owner directly the day before trip and informed that the unit Booking confirmed with me was not available after all and that Booking had made a mistake. Airline tickets were non-refundable so was forced to accept another unit that did not include a separate bedroom (4 in one room) - less than ideal!

Review 3:Our unit was directly across from the ice skating pond. The perfect view from our unit of the Village at night, and through out the day. They have a wonderful bus service, and shuttle service so that you can get around the area without the need to drive. Perfect location to take a break in between ski runs.

Review 4:The bed was very uncomfortable!!! They're are no condos for largefamilies.:( I will never book anything again with Booking.com. When wearrived to the facility we thought everything was paid. Come to find outit wasn'T. It was only partially paid. So, we had to go into ourspending money to finish paying for the room. Everyone is Fraser Pointwas extremely nice except the lobby people. They just were rude...

Review 5:The place was absolutely beautiful!! Loved everything about the place. It was a real life Christmas movie.... I would love to go back and bringthe family.

Review 6:Room furniture was very old and worn. Both bedrooms lacked a clothing dresser so you couldn't unpack a suitcase. Master bedroom still had a tube tv. Entry area carpeting had stains and was ripped. Kitchen only had one tablespoon, making it an arduous task to enjoy our soup with teaspoons.

Review 7:Location within walking distance of ski lift, trails for summer hikes, bike trails and ski village shops and restaurants. Stayed in a 3rd floor, two bedroom unit in the Fraser Crossing condos. Great location with same floor access to the common area outdoor Jacuzzi and large gas fireplace.

Review 8:Their was food in the microwave and on the ceiling.............

Review 9:The facility was awesome and the view was breath taking. We will be staying there again.

Review 10:No air conditioning

Review 11:The gentleman Ken, who arranged a early check-in. Ken made us feel so welcome and was so friendly and knowledgeable about the facility

Review 12:I thought from the pictures that this property had a heated outdoor pool, but it turns out that it only had a hot tub. That was the only thing we didn't like.

Review 13:Very nice condo with a great location and great decor.

Review 14:The resort is a ski lodge first and foremost, and as such had no access to air conditioning. Maintenance had to turn off the heat and we had to have all the windows open all night to stay cool in the room. (I am sure if our stay was in the winter months the room would have been perfect though.)

Review 15:The room was nice, and being a condo, it was nice to have a small kitchenette to use. The room was well kept, the furniture was nice, all in all it was very inviting.

Review 16:So beautiful, both inside and out! Our studio room was very large and we enjoyed the sitting area with the fireplace. Being able to open the windows for the fresh air was great. The studio was very well equipped and very clean. Wifi was excellent! Check in staff were great and very helpful. As it is early in summer season, not many restaurants and shops open, but there are lots in the village. Hot tub was great...very clean!

Review 17:The fireplace didn't work, but it wasn't really needed either.

Review 18:The staff was great, the room was wonderful, and the views were fantastic. The hot tub is awesome!

Review 19:The room was very hot until they came and turned the pilot light off of the fireplace. Then the room was bearable. The midweek cleaning was not done as promised and I had to request this twice.

Review 20:The staff was very friendly and helpful. The other guests were also very friendly. We had a great time overall.

Review 21:Room was a bit stuffy, hallway outside room was very dirty. Would have been nice to have welcome packet about garbage, lockers, etc since there is no daily room service or staff on site. Half the lights didn't work and the switches made no sense. Dish sponge would be nice. Check out is a bit early.

Review 22:Nice sized studio and kitchen. It was nice to have locker downstairs to store equipment instead of in room. Can't beat the location, just steps from the lifts.

Review 23:Lack of good supermarket , resort very quiet in evening , not a great choice of eating and drinking places in resort , or downtown really

Review 24:Early check in, good shuttle service to downtown ,location to slopes , room size

Review 25:Room was a little stuffy! Thank goodness you could open window and there was a ceiling fan. Otherwise it could be completely uncomfortable!

Review 26:Parking spot

Review 27:The heat kept running even when we turned it down, but we never complained, we just opened the window and turned on the fan. This place is great though!!

Review 28:The staff was incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything we asked. The room was very nice and the bed was amazing.

Review 29:Kitchen had no sugar or silverware. Sink in public women's bathroom remained unrepaired...

Review 30:Staff was excellent! They made everything seem easy... Perfect location!!

Review 31:required check out at 10am was too early. Should be 11 or 12 like most other properties...

Review 32:walk to slopes. Clean. Large outdoor hot tub. Good ski storage facility. reasonably quiet.

Review 33:Bed was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable and a bit of a disappointment. Pillows left something to be desired as well as they would collapse during the night and would wake up with head buried in the pillow. 9000 ft elevation does make any activity very tiring. Be prepared for the altitude. Coming from 350 ft altitude to 9000 ft in one day left us very drained for the first couple of days. No free wifi signal anywhere in our room that we could connect to and use.

Review 34:Convenience of the location right by Winter Park Village with stores and restaurants within walking distance. Heated garage was a nice extra that we utilized and well worth the price. Room was clean and comfortable for our 5 day stay. Staff quickly responded to request for additional towels and coffee for the room. Beautiful vista of the ski slopes and chair lifts from our room, Balcony overlooking the patio area and hot tub was nice.

Review 35:The back door was hard to close, there was a light bulb out in the bathroom, and the bathtub took forever to fill

Review 36:I liked the secured parking, convenient location and lockers. The place was nice and comfortable.

Review 37:They mixed up my reservation which led to their being confused about the fact I had a five-night stay. A Five-night stay gets a mid-week housekeeping service. I complained three separate times about not getting the cleaning but no one resolved my problem, so I had to contact the CEO of the company and then my problem was fixed immediately.

Review 38:Loved proximity to ski area, overall amenities and comfort of the room

Review 39:The fact that the unit didn't have central air, made it very worse at night, specially when the gas fireplace was never completely off, temperature at night got to 82-85 degrees. The only way to cool the room down was to open the windows. That was a BIG minus for this place. Otherwise not bad for the money.

Review 40:The dishwasher did not work. Would not have minded that if there was more than one dishcloth provided. The fireplace did not work. Even though it's summer, would like to know that I'm getting what I paid for. Very loud crowd when the hot tub is open. Worse at night, even after 11 when it's supposed to be closed.

Review 41:The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains. Had a full kitchen and a huge bathroom. Very friendly staff that helped with any questions we had about local events.

Review 42:Parking was free per resort online advertising but it was not true. $14 per day. Bad practice!

Review 43:Location

Review 44:between seasons so EVERYTHING was closed: restaurants, shops, no activities.

Review 45:very nice facilities.

Review 46:No housekeeping to clean room daily.

Review 47:Well planned community, beautiful scenery, clean town, great food in the town!!

Review 48:Long walk from the elevator to our room.

Review 49:Location, clean room, ease with pet.

Review 50:This would be a good place to stay during the winter months; we were there in the shoulder season, so not so ideal.

Review 51:Toilet has mold under the rim.

Review 52:Nice place - liked the outdoor hot tub.

Review 53:The lack wifi

Review 54:It was very comfortable and convenient

Review 55:Fireplace was non-working. Room smaller than led to believe. Had been looking forward to the property and were under-whelmed.

Review 56:Expensive for the resort being completely closed and having to drive to get anything

Review 57:Comfortable with friendly staff

Review 58:attention at front desk when i had a problem with garage door not opening

Review 59:comfort and location

Review 60:Nothing!

Review 61:Appartment, car park, ski lockers, hot tub. Easy access to village.

Review 62:Mold in shower. Lack of towels the ENTIRE TIME. Staff NOT helpful or caring.Stinking room unclean A TOTAL RIPOFF.

Review 63:That it was close to the lift

Review 64:Bed not comfy. temperature control poor.

Review 65:Location relative to skiing.

Review 66:no decent supermarket,on site restaurants not very inspiring.

Review 67:near slopes,underground parking.friendly

Review 68:We loved the location of this condo. It overlooks the ice rink and village.

Review 69:Everything. we want to come back asap.

Review 70:The WiFi was super slow.

Review 71:The facilities are located very close to restaurants, lifts and rentals.

Review 72:Loved the location and the unit was great.

Review 73:It was expensive, but it was nice.

Review 74:Humidifier was provided upon request. Staff was very attentive and accommodating.

Review 75:Nothing, we as a family had the best time. We will be back next year !!!!!

Review 76:Kid friendly

Review 77:Fireplace and hug hot tub outside, so nice!! Loved everything!

Review 78:Couldn't book ahead of time because they had a minimum 2 night stay. At the last minute

Review 79:Kids would like a pool, but hot tub is the size of small pool.....so they survived! :)

Review 80:Great place.....everything you could need. Would stay again for sure.

Review 81:Rooms on 6th floor too warm with thermostat at 60; only way to regulate temp is with open window. Rear rooms VERY close to main road so woken by truck traffic all night. Check in across the road at separate lodge. Front desk staff initially absent and wish they had reviewed room amenities with me on check in as use of Wifi, ski lockers, garage access and spa towels very specific to location. One elevator out of service during entire stay, difficult to get luggage up to sixth floor after missing 9 slow, full elevators! No staff in building to assist with guest check in or out.

Review 82:Across the street from ski lifts.

Review 83:Staff was not helpful and did not respond to requests, questions, resolutions of problems etc. Not how a good resort should be run. Liked the location but would not go back

Review 84:That there was not room cleaning service every day, just one mid stay cleaning if you stayed more than 5 days. But to be honest it was enough and not the end of the world... I guess this way we are environmental friendly!

Review 85:Loves it!the location is great. Direct in front of the lifts... Free rides to downtown... Super child friendly. We were traveling with a two year old...

Review 86:The resort had booked a fraternity and had absolutely no Control overthe group. The group was very loud at all hours of the night. They wererunning up and down the hallways "screaming"up to 2:00 am onboth nights. When we complained, (3 times) we were told that the resorthad secured security and police to keep the students in line but thatdid not happen. I would Never stay at this location again unless I wasassured that the noise and safety issues could be addressed. It is ashame that the resort has allowed this kind of behavior at thisotherwise nice resort. I have family in Denver and will be sure to warnthem about the issues with this resort!!!

Review 87:Comfortable room, bed, underground garage

Review 88:The heater wasn't working right and it was extremely hot in theroom. We kept thinking it would get better and by the time we calledthe front desk they did nothing and didn't even offer to put us ina different room. It was off season so they were not busy so it wouldnot have been hard to change rooms. The staff were not veryknowledgeable either.

Review 89:The room was nice and the hot tubs on the third floor were cool. It wasclose to everything.

Review 90:The staff and facilities are excellent. Great value for the money in the offseason. I haven't stayed there in the winter, so I cannot comment on the value during that season.

Review 91:In booking.com site it was not mantioned that this is an apartment hotel and that the office is not in the fraser building but on another building acros the street. There was no sign on the closed door so it took us about half an hour in dark evening to find the office. In booking.com site the room had to have a terrace but according to the price we paid the apartment did no includ a terrace. The hotel is out of town and very difficult to find it.

Review 92:the dinner recommendation form and employee was actually very poor (personal taste) but this was the only negative and we still highly recommend this property, go and enjoy the hills!

Review 93:underground parking was great and the security in the building was very good, and the hills in and around WP are outstanding

Review 94:No a/c at all. Hard to find where to check in. Resort facilities ( restaurant ) closed early. Not a good place for overnight stay. Maybe fine for weeks vacation.

Review 95:Actual unit was nice,clean

Review 96:Depending on your interests, certain seasons of the year may leave you with sparse entertainment possibilities. The check in is confusing if careful attention to written instruction is not followed.

Review 97:Room had cheery up to date furnishings, well maintained and functional. Very pleasant stay

Review 98:House keeping useless. Did not do their job. Did not clean toilets, bathrooms and kitchen, etc (Note there was no equipment etc for us to clean these things eg toilet brush, cleaning chemicals.

Review 99:Location to ski lifts. Fast wifi. Front desk staff helpful. Transportation service and drivers. Spa pool and environs.

Review 100:Everything was good

Review 101:Location, location, location

Review 102:no pets allowed hard to travel without them

Review 103:the price for the amount of space and the location was great

Review 104:No exercise room at Fraser Crossing

Review 105:Fireplace and excellent Hot Tub

Review 106:Had we a long time between checking in and actually getting into the condo

Review 107:Great location

Review 108:Jacuzzi was beautiful and just the right temperature! The highlight of my trip!

Review 109:I would have liked if there was a pool

Review 110:It was easy to access
