Review 1：Our room smelt a little musty. Not a big deal but was very noticeable when we first walked through the door.

Review 6：We had to change rooms for our three night stay. They explained that when booked on a 3rd party site that, Yes they may have the room, but it may not be the same room. This is so common for this Hotel that they have a pre-printed two part form to handle it.

Review 8：We had a river view. I was looking forward to watching the sunset and sipping some wine with a friend. My room was right in the middle of 2 families with small children. They must have been traveling together because their little ones kept traipsing back and forth constantly. It would be nice if they put friends in adjoining rooms. Great view but privacy was an issue:(

Review 17：the other peoples kids ran rampart in the place and I mean running up and down and making as much noise as possible .but that is their parents fault for not being in control of their own kids ,the breakfast was barely warm , they had buffet style and you could order eggs,waffles bacon and stuff. we ordered cooked breakfasts but they obviously took the food off of warmers out back because they were not hot fresh cooked breakfasts

I asked a worker and she said it was separate and she made her own hours she was never there...not cool really would of booked a massage or more. Didn't know there would be no dinner available. Review 25：The biggest thing I didn't like was that I wasn't told by booking.com or red jacket that there was a resort fee added on until I checked out. My friends had already paid me for the room minus the fee so I was stuck paying the daily fee which I felt was alot

Tub clogged, toilet slow. The pricing ($325 a night) was not in proportion to the facility. Check in desk and maid service people did not stand out as friendly at all.

Review 38：I've been coming to the red jacket since I was a kid. The rooms need updating. For not too much more I could go to a more upscale hotel such as The Oceans Edge. The rooms are humid and moist and the a/c is either freezing or you sweat. Staff is great and it's a great location. But if you're charging that much money, let's get with the times and update the bathrooms and install some air exchange filters.

Review 42：Stayed for 2 nites with two little girls. They loved the kids club! The staff was very accomodating, especially the chef who catered to our daughter with food allergies. The beach was spotless and the staff was helpful in setting up chairs and umbrellas.

Review 43：Indoor pool bathrooms were dirty and mostly without toilet paper, paper towels etc. Floor was almost always really wet and did not appear to be mopped throughout the day. Grass outside of indoor pool area was long and there were muddy spots where the sprinklers had been on. WiFi kept kicking my kids off and they had to re-logon multiple times per day.

Wi-fi service was terrible-they need signal boosters or something. Don't ask for poolside, unless you want loud families hanging on their patios with their beer coolers.

Review 108：Being right by the beach. The landscaping was gorgeous. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is going to be our new vacation spot! Pricey at $400/day, but you can tell they put the money back into the resort. Family friendly. We had a nice quiet spot-be sure to ask.
