Reviews for E Hotel Banquet & Conference Center
Review 1:Nothing about this property was worth the money especially since I got a"discount" rate like this at other hotels with 80% betterquality on everything. I could have spent $60 on a motel and feel thesame level of comfort and cleanliness. The hotel is so run down Ican't believe it's really a convention center. Staff doesn'ttalk to you or explain anything they didn't look anymore happy to bethere than I did.
Review 2:Nothing.
Review 3:Bath towels small, thin & holes! Coffee in lobby cost $2.00 ! Fridgenot plugged in and I did't realize it until the following morning--therefore, food was room temperature.
Review 4:Front desk staff very friendly.
Review 5:Fire alarm mistake, price of the food at the restaurant. I paid $25 for hamburger and french fries, the hamburger was the largest hamburger I have seen in my life, but the food is way too expensive extremely too expensive.
Review 6:Employees
Review 7:No wifi connection in room. No response when called to front desk. Lot many smokers in hotel building. Not good at all. Not recommended for solo travellers too.
Review 8:Location in near to my office
Review 9:On Nov20, 2014: around 8:30ish am I was up very tired sleepy someone came in, I thought was my friend, but I did not saw her face directly but on the side I saw a short fat gray uniform and hugging on her chest white towels, she looked at me for few sec left walking quietly and closed door, I was what was that what just happen it!! I open door ASAP my half body naked by door looking for her but she is gone she had to be in one of the room next to me. Talked to the manager on duty I think she never listen I ask for a taxi to train station, the driver she sent wanted to full us and complaint that it was one passenger and not two by the hotel manager!!!
Review 10:Next to Harold's restaurant! What is was the gig of 6.6 review came from, please! Go and see for yourself!
Review 11:I stayed in this hotel while working a hair fashion show at the expo center. I compared prices with several other hotels of similar quality in the area and this was by far the most cost effective, convenient move. The staff was very courteous and the rooms were nice, comfy and clean.
Review 12:Constant issues connecting to WiFi from anywhere in the hotel. Had to travel to other floors to get to the ice machine. The remote control to TV did not operate.
Review 13:price and location
Review 14:The amenities that were listed when we chose the room were not included when we checked in. There was no wifi connection. The facilities at the hotel closed at all different times besides the restaurant. I will not recommend this hotel.
Review 15:There was more bad then good.
Review 16:I stayed in room 720. 1.)I reported to the staff that I could not connect to the hotel's WIFI and showed them the error message on my laptop. They told me that their WIFI is not compatible with my laptop's brand (Acer). "Sorry, nothing we can do". 2.)The bedside lamp flickered off and on the entire stay. 3.) The bathroom sink fixture was broken and nearly impossible to shut completely off. 4.) I'm hearing impaired. The TV's closed caption controls did not work at all. 5.) The TV's cable connection had a short so that, when I tried to turn it on its swivel to face the bed, the screen turned completely snowy and the audio was noting but static. 6.) On the last day the toilet stopped fully flushing.I made a video, showed the desk person, nothing was done. I did not use the toilet thereafter. This is a sub-standard hotel and is a rip-off even at $65.00/night.
Review 17:Staff at the desk were not very friendly or helpful. Seemed like we were bothering them with any questions. Also called the next day about a jacket that was left in the room, and told they didn't have it. Not helpful at all.
Review 18:Convenience to highways, and to place we had to go.
Review 19:Very rundown!

Review 34:Everything was great.
Review 35:Rooms are old, couch had holes in it, towels were the size of a wash scrub and older than I am! The mattress was so old it sagged in the middle like you were drowning in it! The TV is an old tube with horrible reception! Yes it's cheap...but it's cheaper than the price, avoid.
Review 36:Cheap and location
Review 37:When arriving I was given a room I didn't pay for. I paid for a king bed and got two small beds. I am a big guy and it sucked. The next day I couldn't use my key. The front desk couldn't find me in the system, then told me I was in the wrong room. Finally moved me to the king room and it was like night and day. I think I should be compensated for the one night but doubt that will happen.
Review 38:2nd room I got.
Review 39:Staff sometimes need to do extra mile to accommodate their customers! Need to see more smiling faces!
Review 40:Accessible to the Edison Convention Center where the Expo is being held.
Review 41:This was my second visit to the Edison. Our bed was very uncomfortable. We stay four 4 nights once a year it would be great if the rooms had a mini fridge. We will be moving next year.
Review 42:The hotel was weathered and in need of upgrades, especially the sleepingrooms. My room wasn't very clean - the nightstand hadstains/"sticky stuff" from a previous guest's cups orfood. Direct tv channels seemed to be hit or miss and workedsporadically.
Review 43:The hotel was reasonably priced and conveniently located nearmajor highways.
