Review 6：Facilities are OK but show their age. Bathroom small and gets very steamy. Breakfast facilities very small so you are encouraged to take your breakfast on a tray to have it in your room. Balconies don't fit more than 2.
Review 7：Location on beach is good but you need a room on 3rd floor on the north side; on the south side, facing a side road with 4x4 traffic to the beach. Staff is nice.
Review 8：Rooms fully equipped, cozy and comfortable. Right on the ocean so the ocean waves lull you to sleep. The hotel is spotless. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. A huge variety of food including apple cinnamon pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, homemade bread, English muffins, yogurt and jams, fruit and a wonderful fruit parfait. All freshly made. Good restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Review 18：The description on the site didn't meet our expectations at all. We booked a suite with a seperate bedroom. This hotel only rents out rooms with a double and a sofabed, there is no separate room. The sofabed was really uncomfortable and short. For 1 night it was ok, but we were happy to move on to our next stay.

Review 20：No direct access to an ice machine. You can get ice from the office during business hours. Heavy walkers can be heard upstairs, but was not unbearable. Not really a big deal, but I did find the all the light switches to be awkwardly placed. Also a few switches that did not appear to do anything.
Review 21：The view on the second floor was amazing. We were lucky enough to get a room on the end so we had an extra window and only one set of neighbors. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was very nice. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and internet was fast. Also had plenty of storage for extended stays and the micro freezer/fridge combo and microwave was a plus. Hotel also offered beach towels, beach chairs, and other items at no charge.

You should be aware that the beach here is public and cars can drive on it - its a busy beach area. Didn't bother us, and its still a nice beach, just not secluded.
Review 26：Great location - right on the beach, and just 10 minutes from the center of St Augustine. We had a beautiful, clean room with a little balcony overlooking the dunes. The hotel is pet friendly which is great, and there's quite a few restaurants and bars in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 31：Hotel is adjacent to beach vehicle entrance and noisy heavy duty machinery came early on a Saturday morning to grade it. Wi-Fi seemed to work only some times. Room rates seemed a little pricey, but comparable to nearby properties. A/C was noisy unless left on continuous fan.

Review 66：Proximity to the beach could not be any better @Vilano Beach. Very safe area with Publix a block away. Bridge only 2 blocks away and great for walkers. All beach chairs, towels, and toys available so you don't have to bring a thing.

Review 78：bad smell around the corner of the building. Security issue after 9:00 pm as front desk staff on premises from 7:00 am-9:00 pm. If there is a problem after 9:00 p.m., there is a phone number to call. No phone in the room, so you have to use your cell. Cell phone reception in the room not good so you have to go out into the parking lot.

Pamela was extremely helpful, informative, and friendly and there was a very welcoming atmosphere overall. Especially loved the birds in front of reception. There were several options for dining within walking distance as well as a large supermarket for anything a traveler might need .

Was equipped with everything for our comfort and convenience. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is right on the beach; we could hear wave at night and enjoyed the balcony and safe walks in the morning. The area felt very secure and I was comfortable walking along on the beach. There are turtle nesting sites and beautiful water birds. We had a great stay. We would definitely recommend and visit again.

This is the one reason we would not stay here again the thought of a fire. Also the restaurant selection was not good and this is not in your control....Although the market was in nice walking distance and we had nice suite on the fourth floor.

Review 111：Had to climb 3 1/2 flights of stairs with luggage. Staff offered tohelp with the luggage however every time we went out it was up and downthe stairs. The positive was once you climbed up - your view of thebeach was unobstructed. It is pet friendly so if you are nervous of dogsthat could be an issue. I thought $200.00 a night was steep as well.
