Review 1：The hotel is old, the rooms are tidy and clean but a bit rusty in looks. So are the doors and windows. There is no locker in the room if you want to safe keep valuables. This hotel charges the price of a 3 star hotel with facilities of a 1 star motel. The breakfast is there just for the sake of checking a box. There is just coffee, boiled eggs and bread in the small reception room with enough room for about 8 people to sit. We had to skip breakfast all 3 days because of the condition of the breakfast area. The coffee in the room was tasteless.
Review 2：The place is on the beach; you can see the beach from your hotel room. Its about 500ft walk from the hotel. Most rooms are east facing so you can see the sunrise if you wake up early. Rooms have open balcony where you can sit and enjoy the ocean. There is a Publix grocery store 2 minutes from the hotel and 3-4 good restaurants within 0.5 miles of the hotel. You can walk to these restaurants and enjoy the sea food.

Review 18：This hotel is not in St.Augustine Beach. It is in Vilano Beach. This is a very small area with very few choices for dining or entertainment . It was closer to downtown, but we were looking for more of a beach experience. Staff and accommodations were not great. The TV didn't work with the remote, there were no hangers, and staff was not friendly, except for the owner who was lovely. Beware, the pool is no larger than a hot tub, and is not suitable for swimming and would be horrible for kids.
Review 19：The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The room had a couch, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The balcony was spacious. The beach was directly across the street and the Publix and restaurants were within a very short walk.
Review 20：Ants in the room, check in lady barely knew English, and the first ladythat actually checked us in was snippy and not friendly. The pool wasnot much bigger than a Jacuzzi and the pool was dirty and full of ants.Coffee pot leaked and the maid did replace it with another one. We werenot told that dogs were allowed on the beach! There were a lot of loosedogs who were not kept on leashes and also used the restroom on thebeach and the owners were not cleaning the messes up!!! The continentalbreakfasts were not much to brag about. :( There was nothing hot, andonly 1 out of the 3 mornings were hard boiled eggs provided. :( I thinkthe price was a bit high considering all the negatives listed.

We let the front desk clerk know we were interested in staying more days. She accommodated us and let us know she had a cancellation. At most it was a 3 minute walk from the hotel to the beach-just a matter of a short walk across the parking lot to a short boardwalk and you were there. Vilano beach was not terribly crowded during our stay. This is what we were looking for-a nice beach for our grandson's first trip to the ocean. The owner took the time to visit us as we had a problem with our rental car. She was caring and concerned.

Review 74：The beds were very old and stained , and extremely uncomfortable , the room was very cramped with two queen beds , the breakfast that was available was a joke and also where you could eat breakfast was at the office window in a 10 x10 area or less , the wifi signal was not good at all not even at the office area , the cable tv sucked - no channels were able to be accessed . Whom ever reads this needs to give me a refund for at least one night if not both nights that we stayed there . The pool was about 15' x 15' and 4.5' deep , not much room at all .
