Review 1：Because of scheduled flights to other islands, we made Traveller's our home base, staying from one to three nights at a time. Jack and Janelle are delightful and very helpful and accommodating. They also helped us with transportation to and from the airport, scheduled a tour for us, and held our extra luggage when we went to the other islands. The location is great, just a short walk into town.

Review 4：The owners, Jack and Janelle, were friendly and very helpful. Travellers Budget Motel is a comfortable accommodation and well placed for access to all parts of Port Vila. Also, interesting to meet others travellers and swap stories over a more than generous breakfast.

Review 5：Everything is very good , they even helped me find a host on another island, which turned out to be the best choice I made in Vanuatu, housekeepers there are really friendly and diligent, they'll make your bed on time and even wash your clothes which you left on the ground. A very nice motel or for me it is a nice BBH, good experience.

Review 12：Small and personal. Janelle and Jack were very generous with their time and had excellent knowledge of trips and tours as well as local community. Gave great advice to help us tailor our visit to suit our needs. We came and went several times between other island visits and it was the perfect spot for that. All staff friendly and helpful.

The owners are well connected and very knowledgeable about many activities around Vanuatu. Easy to get around with frequent local bus right outside the door. Quiet enough to sleep well at night.

Review 14：Excellent hosts. I stayed 3 weeks after Cyclone Pam and spent much of my short stay delivering supplies around the Island with Janelle to help out the locals. Truly lovely people and a great place to stay.

Review 15：Great base to set off adventuring round the islands. Always nice to come back to a warm shower and aircon after a week in the jungle. Staff are relaxed and very friendly, miss my time there already. Great value considering similar amenities will cost nearly double elsewhere.

Review 18：We booked for three nights, and we stayed eight. From the moment you first arrive Jack and Janelle, the owners, make you feel part of a big and happy family and no one is left out! Janelle must be Vanuatu's expert in helping to plan trips, and travel to the other islands. It's small and intimate with a fabulous pool surrounded by lush greenery, together with Jack's large collection of local carvings. We looked around other places but nothing came close to this happy friendly oasis. If you get to stay here ask John, the chef, to make you his passion fruit cheesecake! Thank you all for making our time here so special!

Review 19：The noise. This wonderful place is closed to the road and it is noisy. We could hear the neighbors speaking. So because of that we did not sleep well.

Review 20：Very nice people, Agnès very helpful, very clean, this place is very cosy with all the facilities for cooking. We really felt good there. The prices for breakfast and for food in general are not very expensive, just right prices.

Review 21：The price guarantee we had from bookings. Com was not honoured. The lady explained her website had standard rate so we paid that due to not having choice. If you are on a strict budget this would affect things. I would go elsewhere so I knew price promised will stand.

Jack and Janelle, and the rest of the staff were just great, providing beautiful breakfasts and dinners shared with the other guests in the communal kitchen/dining area. Place where you can cook meals etc looking on to the lovely swimming pool. Meals are provided as well if you ask. This I didn't know about until we got there. Would stay again.

Review 72：Location in Port Vila meant you had to travel to get to anywhere interesting (there isn't even a beach to swim at in Port Vila) or pay for a tour. However, this isn't the hotel's fault, it's just the nature of the island.

It had all the necessities: pool, air conditioning, a strong fan, helpful staff and a kitchen to cook your own food and they also sell meals if you want them. The staff are happy to book tours/transport for you and give good recommendations for the best ones. Fantastic stay!

Review 94：This place is great-- a nice pool (just like the photos), lovely staff, and an amazing kitchen to cook in if you'd rather eat in! Jack and Janelle are lovely and welcoming hosts, and their staff, especially Pauline (elle parle français aussi) are so kind. We had been in some of the outer islands, so hot water and electricity was just what we needed (in between dips in the pool). Each room is stocked with tea and coffee, and even a large umbrella (which, sadly, we needed).

Review 100：My friend and I have just come back from a lovely week in Port Vilastaying at the lovely Traveller's Budget Motel. I decided on stayinghere after reading so many lovely reviews and I am happy to say theywere all right. Jack and Janelle made us feel so welcome from the firstmoment that we arrived until it was time to say goodbye. They went outof their way to make sure that we were having a great time and booked uson to the trips that we wanted. I was also impressed with how helpfulthey were with quick responses to emails before arriving. We stayed inroom 1 which was perfect for us as a little quieter. The room was lovelyand clean each day with the bonus of beach towels provided. It was greatto have free wireless internet too. We were lucky to chat to some otherlovely guests while staying and enjoyed seeing the New Year in withthem. Thank you so much Janelle, Jack, Regina and all the other staffthat work so hard to make their guests have a great stay.
