Reviews for Blue Sky Guest House

Review 1:Friendliness and confortability are what i feel in this hotel. The staff is very nice and help us enthusiastically. The price is reasonable. Definitely my favorite!

Review 2:Not a very clean room which wasn't cleaned or bed changed the three days we were there. The Internet was good when working but would go off a lot.

Review 3:The location on the strip was good for the mui ne your of the sand dunes and fairy stream. Plenty of places to eat/ drink near by.

Review 4:they posted $15 per night for walk ins while $20 for booking ahead. the place was empty except for us, so next time, I would just show up and take my chances. They had different prices on the same things from each staff person. Ex. motorbike rentals, one staff told us $10 (200k dong) a day. A different staff member later the next day told us it was $6 (120k dong) a day without any negotiating. We ended up getting it for $15 (300k dong) for 3 days.

Review 5:Very simple room. Bathroom, bed and rest of the room were not great, but good value, especially if you just walked in instead of booking ahead as walk ins it's only $15 for a private room with wifi, motorbike parking, decent location. Wifi was good. Some staff were nice.

Review 6:It's very very noisy they have a loud bird as a pet and it didn't stop screeching all night also 6am kids , dogs and a cockerel start !

Review 7:Wifi was ok

Review 8:Very very very smelly room, staff almost dont speak english, they kept our passports for whole our stay. There were also lot of dead bugs in the room. Room window is oriented to the lobby so you cant open it if you do not want everyone to look inside. Fortunately we had to stay there only for one night. Location of this hostel is not good because is not located to the sea side so you do not have chance to get to the sea, because the sea side of the street is full of hotel resorts with no public beach.

Review 9:The only good thing about this hostel is highspeed wifi.

Review 10:I was waken up early morning by the noise of Staff's kids, they were running and screaming around. The staff should instruct the kids.

Review 11:the location is good, close to The Sinh Tourist bus stop and many restaurants, shops nearby.

Review 12:The location is very convenient.

Review 13:Honestly, nothing here bothered me :)

Review 14:Professional staff, they serve my requirement so quickly and effectively with sincere behavior

Review 15:Nothing

Review 16:Location

Review 17:We arrived at 2 am. We emailed them that we would arrive at thistime..fair enough no one around so I got a room key from behind the deskchecked the room... No one around so we took for the night, then at fouram a 'security guard' woke us banging on the door looking for mypassport, I gave it to him and told him I would sort it out in themorning... In the mean time the a/c didn't work and the towelssmelt like my gym bag towel if I left it sitting in there for sixmonths, the bed sheets were made of a material I've never feltbefore which made it very hard to sleep on and then there was a monstersize cockroach in the room. Then at 7:00am we were woken again to moverooms, we thought we might be an upgrade or some improvement... Mymistake half later after sitting out side we got moved across the hallto exactly the same room only this time we were missing our cockroachfriend, it was a complete joke and believe it or not we stayed the nextnight cause we could cancel the booking so we just came home as late aspossible, ill put it this way we went for dinner twice that night. Bythe way I've travel around and stayed in places you wouldn't puta dog but the smell in this place would have killed the dog... Justridiculously poor from all angles

Review 18:Nothing travelling on budget and this was the worst place we stayed

Review 19:Bed and we hired a scooter from the guesthouse' friend and was seriously ripped off. We paid 200k for 1 day, where at our next stop in Hoi An we paid 80k for 1 day rental

Review 20:Although it was far from the resort stretch of mui ne and where our bus from Saigon dropped us off, it was pretty decent. The air on worked well and the bathroom was clean. Bed was not very comfortable.

Review 21:Even thought the sea is across the road there is no beach, you need to go by bus or walk 15-20 mins to reach the beach, the tour operators are economical with the truth , they will always say yes to get your business, if they say a journey will take 3 hours , it will probably take 4,

Review 22:Clean & comfortable, budget price, good base to visit surrounding area, local bus stops outside to get you up to the beach.

Review 23:We got a room that is right by the road. It was very noisy and we couldn't sleep without earplugs. We asked if there were any other rooms available but the receptionist probably didn't completely understand the question and just laughed about our complaints about the noise. We had booked the room for 2 nights but left after one night to another hostel were sleeping was possible. Air conditioner didn't work and the fan neither. Water is quite dirty and smelly at that end of the beach. We recommend swimming on the other end of the beach (the end closer to Phan Thiet).

Review 24:It wasn't expensive. It was close to a nice restaurant (Pin's) which was probably the best in town.

Review 25:The laundry service is SUPER expensive. Also, they didn't tell us before that you pay PER ITEM of clothing you get washed. And after it was washed, it smelled really bad because all the clothes were heaped on the line. The staff were not very friendly and that can definitely use improving.

Review 26:The rooms were nice and clean. Good value for money as far as accommodation goes

Review 27:Very unreliable internet. A lot of noise from the STAFF(!!) shouting loudly in the corridor from 6AM without any consideration for guests who may have preferred to sleep.

Review 28:Clean. Hot water. Location.

Review 29:There isn't much for a commons area to sit. There is a small area in the lobby, with beautiful chairs, but they are not comfortable. For the price we paid though, it was fine.

Review 30:We had arranged for them to pick us up at the train station, and due to an accident on the track, our train was about four hours late, and we were surprised and pleased that they were there to pick us up. Excellent service.

Review 31:We gave our room key to the reception when we went out on the second day,and when we returned asking for the room key,it was somehow lost.Luckily they have another key to our room.

Review 32:Nice staff. We arrived at mid-night so there was only a security at the reception,he called the receptionist to check in for us.And there is a best-bargain-ever dinning spot just beside the guest house, looks not attractive but price is super good and tastes awesome!LOVE IT!!!! Oh,and the receptionist booked the bus tickets for us,no commission!

Review 33:Room was a bit dirty, windows without glass, doors to the bathroom didn't close nor lock and while close to the beach, there is basically no access to it there (as most of the beach is privatelly owned by various resorts) - there is a small but rather dirty part of the beach nearby where fishermen park their boats...

Review 34:Price was quite cheap, and it had air conditioning, Tv...

Review 35:The rooms have no window, the bathroom was not clean and the bedsheet had stains. It was very loud because of the street next to my room. All in all I would not book again.

Review 36:The staff was friendly.

Review 37:Good location and helpful staff

Review 38:The room was dirty, smelled damp and mouldy it was full of bugs. The fridge was dirty.

Review 39:Friendly staff

Review 40:The pillows smelt a little damp and the towel was like a little hand towel but for the price it was good

Review 41:The location was good.

Review 42:Bed was too soft. There was water dropping from the ceiling in the bathroom.

Review 43:Hot shower. Available rooms where everywhere else was booked.

Review 44:the staff was lazy and not interested helping the guests

Review 45:the only cheap place in mui ne during Tet and a fair place to stay a couple of nights

Review 46:Without windows as mentioned

Review 47:Beach just across the road Friendly staff Clean

Review 48:I could n

Review 49:Really nice guesthouse, good location and friendly staff. Room was tidy and bathroom was clean.
