Review 1：The employees were very rude. The room was disgusting. It smelled like mildew. The bathroom door would not shut, it had been torn off the hinges. We had 3 groups so we had 3 different rooms and they were all the same! None of the bathroom doors closed, every room smelled awful.

Review 2：I like location because you can walk to shops and restaurants. Close to beach and accessible to everything else. Friendly staff gave me an extra sheet and bedspread. Breakfast was nice! Overall this is a great place to stay and we are going to book for summer 2016. Thanks

Review 3：Almost no breakfast although "hot" breakfast was advertised. No ice was available. We could not communicate with the clerks because could not understand their speaking. Exposed wires made the place appear as if it was not taken care of.

Review 4：It was clean and comfortable. Once we got into the room we did not want to go back out.

Review 5：There were bugs not only crawling across the pillow on the bed, the wall, the door, on the table, on the floor under the table, in the sink area of bathroom and on the floor in that room. I paid cash for two nights and was only refunded one night after only having the room 3 hours, and was gone all but 30 minutes of the 3 hours. The manager wouldn't even speak to me, coward/cheat.

Review 19：The hotel was located on the main street of Destin so everything was only a short drive away. The staff switched our towels out with no problem and they were pretty friendly. The beds were comfortable to sleep on and the tv, light, etc all worked. We (2 people) stayed from Friday until Tuesday and the price of the stay was reasonable cheap.

Review 25：Pieces of tile broken, tile was dirty in all areas where there was tile. Sink was to short, it came right below your hips.you had to pay for ice and sometimes didn't work.

Review 33：I didn't like the fact that one of the people at the front desk cannot speak English so it made it difficult to communicate with them. The bathroom was very very cramped and the bathtub did not drain correctly so I was standing in 3 inches of water for every shower. On Friday night a large crowd of thugs started mellowing around in the parking lot in a bad manner. I didn't feel like my girlfriend was safe to even walk to the car...lesson learned, you get what you pay for. Make sure you bring a tazer with you for self defense if you go here on a weekend.

Review 39：I booked a non-smoking room. I was given a smoking room. The volume on the tv was very low and did not get loud enough to hear the program.

Review 54：Didn't like the fact the online pictures didn't match the hotel, my wife had to ask more than twice for extra towels, the breakfast area was too small-seems only about 8 peoples can sit, the hotel was over priced for the stay...

First off, during booking they ask what roomtype you want and we made sure it was a smoke-Free room, it even said itin the availability that was the room we were getting. When we arrive,my husband was told they only had 1 smoking room left. How could that bewhen we specifically booked a NON-smoking room? We were told by the lessthan enthused front desk worker that it should be ok since they makesure the rooms are cleaned out and the smell is eliminated. False! Whenwe pull up we see a clear sign outside all the rooms stating they arenon-smoking rooms. We were relieved, until we opened our door and wereimmediately taken over by the horrid smell of smoke and cigarettes. Thehorror story continued when we saw an ash tray with a book of matchesthat had the hotel name in information. So, the sign outside every roomwas false advertisement and made our stay there horrible. The smell ofcigarette turned into tasting it, that's how strong it was. Wecouldn't sleep and wasted our money staying here just one night.When we went back to the front desk, the employee just looked at us likewe were crazy. Horrible customer service. We couldn't wait to getout of there. Other things that were bad: slow free internet, it'snot even worth it being free; and the free breakfast should be calledFree Beverages since the little food they offered was horrible and theyran out of food an hour and a half before breakfast was over. In ouropinion spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

All the walls throughout, have holes in them. Ceiling is not in decent shape. That place needs updating desperately. Who ever painted, looks like a 5 year old did it. Never enough towels, linens, etc., on hand when you need them. No coffee maker in room. They charge for ice! Parking is terrible. Sketchy staff and guests. Terrible. We overpaid for this dump! The only half way decent thing was the tv, with a bad picture and few channels. Very disappointed!!!

Review 73：We were told by the manager that if we checked out early we would getour money back that we prepaid. Then when we tried she didn't allowthe front desk to refund me. I was upset to say the least. She said shedidn't realize we paid with cash and couldn't refund cash. Ireminded her that she was the one that checked us in and took the cashbut it didn't matter. She said that was their policy. I run afamily business in Missouri and if I would have told my customer I willrefund your money then I would have done whatever I had to do to makethat possible.

Review 74：Last year when I stayed the rooms I'm assuming were newly renovated so everything was clean and nice. Well this year it wasn't as nice the bathroom floor was dirty along the wall and some paint chipped also a burn Mark on the tub like someone sat a cigarette or somthing else on it. But other than the bathroom the rest was pretty clean.

Review 77：the floors and baseboards were dirty with cobwebs,,,,I had to have the cleaning staff come back in and reclean the whole room, my feet were dirty just walking on the floor, the head of the cleaning crew said "well this floor is hard to keep clean, people in and out", and I reminded him that the room was to be cleaned before I came in the afternoon, so why would there people coming and going, I took my shoes off at the door so I didn't track anything in, When I said it needed to be cleaned he said "well I'm not worried about it" and I said "you wouldn't because you don't have to be in the room"

Our room was great for the price and thestaff was amazing! Normally when you see a hotel with rooms priced socheaply you imagine that it will be a nightmare but this was not thecase! Review 83：As just a stopover I did not like the location...too far from the interstate. The beach views are totally blocked by the more upscale lodgings on the other side of Route 30/98 which is a high traffic route.

If you had a full hotel which is what we had, there wasn't enough food to go around. It was easier to go out for breakfast.

Review 121：The cleaning staff skipped over our room and when we contacted the manager to have it cleaned she said there is nothing they can do. She explained the staff that was currently there will not clean a room and all she can do is bring us a broom and a bottle of disinfectant to clean our own room. A discount was also never offered until I contacted the manager several times to find out when cleaning supplies would be delivered to our room. When checking out the day manager did not know about a discount and there was no communication among the staff. The general manager is not able to be contacted and the managers told me there is nothing I could do about having to clean my own room.

Review 122：Room had an awful smell and the toilet stop working. We had to keep the plunger in our room over night to make sure the toilet worked. We were very dissatisfied with this hotel

There's no elevator which is inconvenient when carrying luggage. The breakfast was not appetizing. It has the "feel" of a budget motel which is fine if that is your intent. I was not pleased.
