Reviews for Seasons Of Perth
Review 1:Great staff so obliging and friendly. I could see the river from my window, I just love staying there it might not be the most modern, but its classic and welcoming.
Review 2:Hotel overall a little tired and could do with a bit of an upgrade. But still great place to stay.
Review 3:Great pool. One of the better pools in the city hotels. Friendly atmosphere from all staff. Breakfast from the menu excellent. Great room size with plenty of storage.
Review 4:Its not really a didnt like but there where empty suitcases and bags in the room when i checked in very good i
Review 5:Central to perth city good room This is the second time i have stayed with you and i will be back
Review 6:The decor of the room was dated, needs refurbishing.
Review 7:The size of the room. Great breakfast and reasonably priced. The central location. Lovely bed linen and towels. I had a small river view between a couple of buildings.
Review 8:The hidden costs such as $30 a day parking while the car park 4 doors down was only charging $17 a day. There was no mention a parking charge when I booked the room but the online ad stated secure parking available. Cheap but very disappointing buffet breakfast
Review 9:The size of the room
Review 10:No room service, no optional movies on the tv to purchase (we wanted a night in ordering room service and watching movies), rooms were a little old and due for renovation, and the elevators were very slow and broken
Review 11:Location and size
Review 12:Only one of 2 lifts working, other not being repaired. Stairwell filthy. . Electrical power circuit breaking down. Last night, no light in bathroom. If can't get a parking space, have to use a public car park, with higher risks of break ins.- have gear in the car.
Review 13:Location. Some parking. But only book able after there.
Review 14:Terrible shower, some rude staff on reception and untrained staff working in the bar. Food very average and drinks overpriced in the bar. Freezer didn't work in fridge and no ice machines in hotel therefore had to get ice from the bar or pay $6 per time for someone to bring ice to the room. Several TV channels had no sound.
Review 15:Great location, large clean rooms with big comfy beds. Nice pool. Great bar called My Place directly opposite hotel on Pier Street which serves great food with friendly staff.
Review 16:Some bed sheets had stains, tv positioning is very strange so only half the bed can view, some channels on the tv didnt work (specifically channel 9, 90 and 99)
Review 17:Spacious room for money spent, location was perfect, staff were friendly, checkout is 11am so more time to get ready
Review 18:The only complaints I have was that the shower was a little moldy and that the cold water tap knocked when it was turned on. But this was minor.
Review 19:The King size bed was fantastic, and it was close to where we needed to be. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 20:Rooms need some renovations, the bathroom was especially in pretty old conditions
Review 21:Location is great, just a few minute walk from CBD. Staff was also very helpful
Review 22:We liked our quiet room. Walking distance to hairdresser and church wedding round the corner. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Close to shops. Parking underneath
Review 23:The noise made by taps in hotel rooms that I could hear from my room continuously through night.
Review 24:Nice big room and the location was very good. Very good value for money.
Review 25:Rooms need refurbishment especially the bathroom. Housekeeping very poor, no towels, cups or spoons on arrival.
Review 26:Size of room, $15 breakfast, position and bar.
Review 27:Just make sure you put your Do not disturb sign up if you are inside, as the cleaning staff are keen to do their job. There was a bit of whining in the neighbour's water pipes.
Review 28:Desk staff were very happy and helpful. Good central location. Pool was crystal clear. Shower was hot and plentiful. Pleasantly surprised by an executive upgrade.
Review 29:No free internet or wifi, can't find any milk in d fridge or complimentary milk for coffee & breeky
Review 30:Best location, room accomodation cleanliness
Review 31:Bathroom was old with a horrible shower curtain, and water taps very noisy. Bed was getting old and so not that comfy.
Review 32:Great location, large room, with a lovely view of the Swan River.
Review 33:Room needed maintenance - bathroom ceiling damaged, tiles & grout in shower old damage & dirty, tap dripped in sink constantly, not all kights worked, paintwork aroubd room needs repair.
Review 34:Loved he location
Review 35:Poor location of hotel, area has beggars sitting on the footpath and people sleeping in doorways and giving out abuse
Review 36:service from staff, particularly in the bar
Review 37:The room in particular curtains were quite dirty
Review 38:Great value for the money, great size room and comfortable bed. A bit of an upgrade in décor would make it top notch.
Review 39:High cost of Wi Fi per day, fact that the laundry bag ends up being dry cleaning, so they dry cleaned my socks, underpants and even handkerchiefs, could have bough new for far less. When staff were questioned over the 'laundry' ending up as dry cleaning it was just a defensive argument and not a lateral thought that we as a hotel should consider the customer and offer both laundry and dry cleaning separately. Female staff attitude poor.
Review 40:Location and great room size as well as little street noise.
Review 41:Outdated bathroom High parking fees for overnight (AU$ 30) and no directions to the hotel parking area Lack of parking in front of the hotel and name board not clearly visible
Review 42:Location and value for money
Review 43:We got a complimentary room upgrade which was a lovely surprise. I rang to ask a couple of questions before our stay and stuart who I spoke with was v helpful, friendly and polite. Later We also met and spoke with John the bar manager who was great company and v friendly
Review 44:Only thing I can say is the tiles around the shower and the shower base edges have mould, very noticeable, needs a good de mould
Review 45:we were only there 1 night, but it was close to train stn and venue we had to go to, room was big, bed comfy, breakfast value for money.
Review 46:The bathrooms were in a very poor state and desperately needed upgrading.
Review 47:The room itself wasnt bad although the bed wasnt that comfortable. It was a very quiet hotel though.
Review 48:There was mould in the bathroom, in the bath, on the walls and tiles, no way would someone dare have a bath. This was unforgivable and not hygienic.
Review 49:Staff ver friendly, the upgrade was unexpected so that was impressive.
Review 50:Much better if it gives free wifi to room like in most of other hotels , so think about it in future !
Review 51:Great location for shopping ,value for money ,nice staff ,more residential place to stay . I' m more than happy that I selected this hotel to stay during my short visit to Perth .
Review 52:The staff at the front desk were not very welcoming, the bathroom was a bit old and gross, parking cost far too much
Review 53:I loved the location, rooms are nice and clean, good value for money
Review 54:A whip used by a dominatrix left in the room( DISGUSTING).Previousoccupants fingernail clippings on the floor(GROSS). Various dry biscuitscraps on the floor.Wet carpet in corner of lounge. No face washers .Only one teaspoon. This was supposed to be an 'Executive Suite'.Promise of a refund because of "poor room presentation" nothonoured. Hotel is obviously frequented by prostitutes and the rooms arenot properly cleaned. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone!
Review 55:Location is good
Review 56:My assistant booked this hotel for myself and my ceo based on earlierreviews. The hotel was not suitable for families or business travelers. The rooms were very dirty, the fire alarm wokeeveryone up at 4:30 for noreason and my ceo found a bag of condoms in his room
Review 57:The rooms were filthy. I found a bag of condoms in my room. The fire alarm went off at 4:30 am. The worst stay in any hotel I have visited. Worst of all the staff didn't care less
Review 58:The location
Review 59:Check in was a nightmare such rude staff. After that was sorted we went to our room just taking a nap after travelling and staff come banging on the door knocking to look in mini bar. Keep in mind this was 3pm. Asked for late check out was approved but still got woken up to calls and knocking next morning. We've stayed there lots of time. Never had any gifts left for us or an upgrade don't feel appreciated for being loyal. When we stay at hotel across the road always presents left on our bed and free upgrades for regularly staying.
Review 60:The bed was comfy and room was clean.
Review 61:Did not enjoy the buffet breakfast thought the food itself was pretty poor. Thought the room we stayed in was overpriced.
Review 62:We often stay here due to the great location.
Review 63:Avoid the ninth floor, very noisy plant room above. At least the staff were honest about this and offered us a downgrade to another floor. The cockroach in the bathroom was off putting though.
Review 64:Location and staff were great
Review 65:The bathrooms need upgrading, the shower was very noisy. There were somediy and cleaning items left in our room and took days for collectioneven when put in the corridor. Breakfast was good but the room wasfreezing as the outside doors are left wide open to encourage passers byinto the restaurant, crazy as everyone had to wear coats while they ate.
Review 66:We like the size and arrangement of the rooms.
Review 67:Only thing we didn't like was the paid wifi, we stayed a total of 9 nights and thought at least some free would be offered, considering we were hardly using it anyway, was only really to skype family back home.
Review 68:Terry who works in the bar was very friendly and can make killer cocktails. We ended up going out with him and his friend Eddie for drinks and had a great night.
Review 69:I booked for my husband and me but my husband arrived before me and couldn't check in, even after they spoke to me on the phone I had to send an email which I thought was ridiculous. I can understand the phone call but they check in staff were more focused on what they couldn't do than what they could do.
Review 70:location, rooms
Review 71:Staff is very 'bogan' with bad fitting attire and could not smile or have a welcome word. Cleanliness is not too standard. Lift needs maintenance. Overall it looks like a 28 year decline.
Review 72:Familiarity after 28 years being a customer.
Review 73:We specifically requested a queen bed in our booking and were put in a room with 2 beds pushed together. The room was dirty, the layout of the ensuite was strange and the light was poor. The ceiling was dripping and leaking from the roof above it. The corridor had flaked paint all over it, so it wasnt a new problem. The doona was not actually in a doona cover, recently I have noticed that hotels are saving money by using 2 sheets instead??!! We could hear someone snoring loudly in the room next to us.
Review 74:Plenty of paid parking spaces in their car park. Nice friendly staff. Location was perfect. The hotel moved us to a room with a queen bed and a lick on paint on the floor below which was better than the first one.
Review 75:Check-in was slightly clunky, we had pre-paid and the staffer tried tocharge again+bond. No biggie, resolved quickly.
Review 76:Cheap Comfy, big bed+lounge+table, tv (didn't use), decent bathroom, slight river view, good location in Perth.
Review 77:When fire alarm went off and had to walk down stairs to ask if it was a fire and was told no no sorry for being woken up
Review 78:Bed was nice room and hotel clean
Review 79:$30 / night for parking reduces the value for money equation when more modern hotels are available for a similar advertised nightly rate.
Review 80:Central Perth CBD location
Review 81:Bathroom shower head was passing water but didn't get fixed during our 6 nights stay.
Review 82:Spacious room. We had a room in the ground floor which was bigger than normal. King size bed. Staff was helpful and polite.
Review 83:Had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to noise Room did not have a kettle, bath plug, hangers or a 'do not disturb' sign - all had to be separately requested
Review 84:Location (provided you have no car) Helpful staff
Review 85:Telling the customer that they are wrong re their booking details - apology given when noted the Hotel was wrong. Limited number of power points in the areas that needed them. Aircon not working correctly. No Do Not Distrub Sign for room.
Review 86:Location. Pillows Sheets
Review 87:Only two ancient lifts with one not working during our stay. No view/balcony. Pool area limited sun. Some noise at night
Review 88:Large room with plenty of storage. Very helpful staff. Great location. Great breakfast. Free computers in the lobby.
Review 89:The toilet ran & needed a fix. Parking very tight.
Review 90:Close to the hub of Perth. Easy access, restaurants at the door, taxi bay at front & comfy modern room. Stayed 7 days. Very happy
Review 91:Very difficult to stop outside the hotel due to lack of drop off parking. Receptionist extremely unhelpful on arrival so we had to park away from hotel in a multistory car park and walk with luggage. When asked was there any way we could collect luggage from foyer in the morning instead of dragging it back to carpark, was told to "ask reception in the morning!" My daughter and I were upgraded to a suite due to overbooking but the suite was quite old and unrefurbished. Rooms on other floors were much nicer but I was told there were no options to have a room as a replacement (even though that's what we booked) as they were fully booked for the night. I Informed same receptionist of broken chair in my room which my daughter fell off as a result of a missing leg but she appeared disinterested and offered no solution. Also lots of loud drunken people arrived back at the hotel in early hours and held a mini party for nearly an hour outside my friend's room. When she called reception, she was told there was nothing they could do and that it would stop soon (she was staying at the hotel with her young daughter who had a rehearsal for a show the next morning and who couldn't get any sleep until the early hours).
Review 92:Had a deal from Booking.com which was very reasonable. Morning reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 93:You could hear the people talking and babies crying and old pipes making a noise when the taps were opened. Prevented any good nights sleep.
Review 94:We liked the pleasant, friendly, helpful staff.
Review 95:Air conditioning could be better did not seem to cool the room sufficiently; also the wood furnishings in the room tired and in need of refurbishment; perhaps a few more pictures on the wall. Bathroom lighting very poor.
Review 96:Convenience of hotel; good sized room and provision of books in room; good mini bar
Review 97:The only thing I can say we didn't like was having to go down to the lobby to access internet and then only having 30 mins free a day.
Review 98:The hotel was very good fro the money we paid, I was a bit concerned when I read all the comments that had been put on about this hotel but I should have, as I said before good value for the money.
Review 99:We did have a hire car for our travels south and still had it when returned to perth CBD. Parking was a problem and found it outrageous that the hotel wanted $30 per night to park in their car park under the hotel even as a guest.
Review 100:The location was important when we booked and did not disappoint, everything was handy, sightseeing, dining, public transport.
Review 101:Too few gym passes , so could not go to the Gym the time I wanted to. Aircondtioning could not be turn to a lower speed to reduce noise so had to switch it off......room then over heated. Car park in garage was full so had to park in public parking for a lot more money.
Review 102:Big rooms
Review 103:The room and appliances looked dated, but this did not detract from our stay
Review 104:The central location, spacious room and friendly staff. The hotel was presented very well.
Review 105:Bathroom tap needs attention and brighter lightning in bath & shower room.
Review 106:Within walking distance to most things. Other than what is written at the side it was most enjoyable with friendly staff that were very helpful.
Review 107:No free wifi. Had to walk to the mall where wifi is free everywhere. Room was a bit shabby and hotel could use a general upgrade.
Review 108:Good location and excellent, helpful staff. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
Review 109:Bathrooms are extremely dated and could do with a good scrub/refurbishment. Yellow tinged bathtub and toilets (flaky paint peeling off the seat). The rooms don't give off a clean vibe either ... Better lighting might spruce it up!
Review 110:Location
Review 111:The hotel needed refurbishment. Some of the lift buttons (in both lifts) did not light up when pressed. Both the bedroom door and the bathroom door could not be closed without force. The toilet in the bathroom was practically invisible at night without turning on the bathroom light because any light available from the window was obliterated by the door.
Review 112:I loved the location and the very professional yet obliging staff. On the day of checking in, we arrived before 11am but not only were we able to check in straightaway, we were given an upgrade to an executive suite. There were two computers in the hotel lobby for guests to use, in addition to the in-room wi-fi service.
Review 113:Air con system appears old and dated - was noisy.
Review 114:Room was clean and spacious (double room), bed comfortable, staff were very helpful, great location, ordered breakfast - very good!
Review 115:the view was below average. didn't spend much time in the room
Review 116:loved the linen. bed was great. room was spacious. I would stay again if a deal was to come up
Review 117:Not a bad experience, but failure to inform that rooms have - tea/coffee making facilities caused us to take our own facilities.
Review 118:Location was the prime reason for choosing Seasons, so close to CBD and our theatre. Nice and clean hotel, efficient staff.
Review 119:Despite spacious bathroom-shower cubicle very cramped.Otherwse all excellent.
Review 120:Desk staff very helpful when I needed printing and scanning of a document(and no charge!!)-room clean and very spacious-good bed-mini-fridge that had room for my stuff also.Very handy to shopping mall-riverfront-restaurants-all within easy walk.Very quiet room.
Review 121:Walk through the door and THEhotel looks nice, got to 9th floor and there was a very disgusting smell when you walked out of the lift, the paint on the roof was flaking away and it is in very poor condition, opened the room door and it's quite a big room but very neglected and needs serious updating, complained thane toilet was leaking and they were not I retested, asked to move rooms and was told we can't as was fully booked but would get me moved next day, so went to reception the flowing morning and she had no idea that we are to be moved,
Review 122:The bed was comfy
Review 123:The room was very spacious, and the king bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, as it was very hot during our stay. The drink prices were good too.
Review 124:Staff were very rude and unhelpful, room service was advertised but non existent, when room service called we were laughed at and told to come down and get it ourselves!!
Review 125:I liked the location, and the amenities.
Review 126:Noisy karoke bar noise until midnight Friday night. Staff said it was beyond their control but did not warn us about it when we checked in. We should have been offered upgrade at our expense to another room.
Review 127:The rooms needed a total remodel and no free wifi for the price you pay this should be included! The staff weren't the friendliest I think they need to work on this
Review 128:The location was perfect & the bar attached to the hotel was good was clean on arrival
Review 129:I called before we arrived to ask if after we checked out if we could use the pool for a while. Was told would be fine. checked out and was informed we were not allowed to use the pool.
Review 130:Good location, quiet, comfortable rooms and nice pool.
Review 131:Tea needed more ordinary black tea as lots of herbal but only one cup each of black tea. Not replenished last day. Not a biggy and am sure the front desk would have assisted.
Review 132:Great room for the money, central to trains, ferry and buses. Handy to supermarket, shops and heaps of restaurants in walking distance. Will stay again.
Review 133:The hotel is a bit tired and needs to be updated. The room while clean, was getting worn out. The swimming pool is on the ground level next to the public bar, so there is no privacy if you wanted to get away from the crowds.
Review 134:This well positioned hotel is close by to public transport, the shopping malls and the Arts precinct. The room was large and very comfortable. The staff were helpful. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
Review 135:The room was really old and outdated, looked like the curtains hadn't been washed for ages and the windows definately hadn't. The lift looked liked it hadn't been vacumed that day. The hallway once we arrived smelt musty not a nice smell. Im sorry but we would never stay here again or recommend it to our friends.
Review 136:The staff were great friendly and helpful.
Review 137:my side of the bed was lumpy and squeaky - the other side was fine.
Review 138:parking on site (subject to availability) and great value for money for the one night stay, fantastic breakfast (included) central to the cbd. 5 star staff and rooms.
Review 139:facilities looking tired. Repaint and patching up, modernise shower, quieten down the airconditioner, and it would have made my excellent list.
Review 140:location, friendly staff, rooms ok except for shower over bath.
Review 141:It is very hard to pin point what was unlikable about this hotel as everything was very good. If I had to be picky, one of the elevators was out of action and caused a bit of delay getting to our room from time to time. Sorry there really wasn't any real concerns at all.
Review 142:We liked this hotel as it has a great character, the hotel was very well presented and you had the access to everything you wanted to access in the heart of the city at your doorstep. The parking facilities were great and it's location would be awesome if you didn't have a car to house as well. Having it's own restaurant and bar was also very convenient. The rooms were quiet and peaceful enabling us to unwind and relax and it made us forget that we were actually right in the middle of town. This hotel has so many advantages.
Review 143:Not enough ordinary tea in the room had to ask for more
Review 144:Fantastic service always with a smile enjoyed it very much and close to the City. fantastic for the price will stay again
