Review 1：Rooms need to be upgraded, we had trouble getting into our room, we had to pull tightly on the handle every time getting in and out of the room.

Review 2：Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was really good, area was clean. Pool is a pretty good size.

Review 13：WIFI did not work in rooms, only in the lobby. And some of the breakfast was 'COLD'. I had luke warm eggs and sausage, but had very cold gravy on my biscuit. Not a nice taste... And the supposedly warm breakfast was not served until 8am, so I hung around waiting for something warm and was treated to cold biscuits and gravy.

Review 15：We were woken at 1ish by other guests in the hotel having a party in their room! Our door was knocked on and pounded on about 6 or 7 times! Very scary as they were drunk. Our sleep time was interrupted from 1ish to almost 5am! Was not happy and front desk really said there was nothing they could do! Will NEVER stay at this hotel again!

Review 31：My family and I traveled to south padre for the labor day weekend and this hotel was the only one we found that was decent in price. The room was big with a kitchen . The bathroom is out dated and could use some work. The mattress was comfortable yet really small for a queen size bed. We had a balcony which was really nice. We enjoyed going on the balcony in the mornings . The pool was nice and big.

Review 32：I asked for a ground floor non smoking and got the perfect room closest to office,pool..room was large and clean and loved the little grassy area outside the back door for my grandson to play.Will request this same room on a return trip..also breakfast was very good and friendly office staff.no complaints...very satisfied

Review 35：We arrived on a monday and had 2 towels a mini towel and a floor mat. We did not havr maid service by choice. On Friday we asked for more linen and requesting wash clothes as well stressing how few we had to begin with. Not even 3 towels for the three of us. I was told they would bring more right away. An hour later my kids opted to shower and use dirty towels. Finally we called back and they brought us 2 towels only. House keeping spoke absolutely no english...acted like they didnt kniw i word we said when asking for trash bags and towels.

Review 50：I lost 1.50 when I had to go to two different floors to try to get washing soap for the washing machines, and the soap dispensers just ate our money. I know it's only 1.50 but it was a let down that it only took our quarters. And the housekeeping ladies were kinda pushy, and since our room didn't have a "do not disturb" sign, they kept on knocking when we just wanted to rest. It was still a nice experience of 4 days.

Review 57：It seemed it's best years had been long time ago. Everything is old, stained dirty carpets in the halls, stained furniture in the room and in lobby area. When entering the room it smelled like mold. The bathroom needed some work also, all very old and not very clean, and no covers for drainage in either sink nor bathtub. The towels might have been washed but were still dirty. Just gross! Internet access was only available in lobby area. Our view from third floor balcony was to the construction site next door.

It was a bit overpriced for the locación, but the friendly staff compensated for the lack of a view (there was a construction site outside of our balcony).

Review 68：Cleaning staff took forever to take some towels to room. No stove in room. Sofa (sitting area) was wet and smelled wet. No wifi connection in my room. Room was outdated! Some kind of insect bit my child during the night in bed and was reported to front desk but they never called or followed up on it. She had a huge red mark on her leg. Carpet smelled old, wet and need to be changed.

Review 76：What didn't I like? From the outside, it looked nice, once in theroom, you see the poor upkeep and maintenance of the room. Poorworkmanship quality of the drywall, tile work and paint. Vendingmachines didn't work properly, tv didn't work well (old tube tv)had to hit it to get a picture, and the shower faucet handle came off inmy hand when trying to turn on the shower. Only one towel! Spent an hourand a half to get more. Worst experience in a hotel ever but paid morebecause of location.

The TV was old and did not work. Our room was next to the elevator so it was loud. The toilet tank would not fill up. And the furniture and decor was old.

I would have rather been able to stay in my room but the lobby is very comfortable and the wifi was fast. The water presser wasn't great but I was stil able to shower just took a little more time.

Review 101：We were on the third floor and had a wonderful view of the ocean and were even able to see the fireworks from Louis Backyard from the balcony in our room! We were also able to watch the sunset! The staff was awesome and it was very quiet.

Review 112：Bed comforter was dirty (hairs and stains) It needs to be updated. The print is from like the late 80's or so. The bed sheets were dingy. I had to request clean ones. The pillows were hard and not of the same size. (only 3 were provided. We reserved a King Suite with a Jacuzzi, but in the first night around 2AM my husband and I were awoken by a drip that came directly from the ceiling above the Jacuzzi. The scary thing was that the drip came out from the light fixture.(FIRE HAZARD) Also, our phone kept ringing for no apparent reason. Front office was notified, but nothing was done. We had 2 uncomfortable nights. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was provided. To make things worse, at check in time, they didn't have my right reservation. They were already going to place me in a handicap room which supposedly I had requested. The lady in the front had to make that change only to tell me they were not going to be able to place in the top floor. Besides that, I was being charged more for the room which I had already booked in advance for a different price. To make things worse, the TV was old, had fuzzy reception, difficult to see words on the screen and bad color contrast. No DVD available to rent movies. All in all, we will never book here again. My family and friends asked about our short vacation, and I made sure to warn them.

Review 120：The location of the room was horrible. Our view from our balcony was of a construction site with work in progress. When we arrived the desk clerk was very unprofessional and rude. I am a war disabled veteran and was not offered a military or senior discount. He was more concerned about watching tv than helping me. I arrived at 1230 am and was extremely tired after driving 16 hours. I was awaken to drilling at 0800 and when I looked out the balcony I was shocked to see a full blown construction site in progress and a view of a nasty old boat off loading ramp. I made a video of all this zi want someone in management from the property to view before I post it on you tube for the world to see. When I checked out the clerk was equally as rude as the first guy. I want someone from corporate management to contact me. For what I paid for the room I am very disappointed.

Review 123：The amazing service from the front staff. We requested a room by the bay to see fireworks and without any sort of hesitation they helped us. There was a friendly gentlemen who greeted us and was very pleasant.

Review 124：The room had a musty smell, and when we asked for a 12:00 checkout, the front desk person said, "I guess", with a very sarcastic tone. The water had been turned off by the city, and we were unable to bathe that morning.

Review 133：Breakfast was good. Consisted of biscuits sausage patties, eggs, cereal, bagels and bananas. They also had two waffle makers, but the lines were too long. Great view of the fireworks from our balcony on the bay side of the property.

Review 134：the ad was incorrect i was displeased when i saw the size of the couch. The ad stated the room slept 6 people comfortably with a pull couch. Our Room did not have a pullout couch.
