Review 1：This is a clean hotel, nothing fancy, but comfortable. It was completely redone after Hurricane Dolly in 2008, and they are undergoing some updates at present. My favorite thing is that all the rooms are inside! If I want to go get ice or a soda at 3 a.m., I feel perfectly safe. Each room has a fridge, microwave, and a hair dryer. We stay quite often, when we just don't want to drive home. ,
Review 2：They are trying to redo the paint which is warm but it is just very old and on the lower end of motels. It's not in the beach and we saw for food. Had vending machine and ice but not much else. For our first trip it was ok.

Review 6：There were a couple of things you should be aware of though.. The front staff were not friendly, rather bland. The smell of curry was at times overwhelming and it was very unpleasant. The pool water was cloudy and and the back security door was never secured and anyone could open it, although it looked like it was functioning when you place card card key in door. The breakfast consisted of mini powdered doughnuts, a tang-like drink and some crummy coffee. :(

Review 25：Beds were uncomfortable. My non smoking room smelled like smoke. Maybe invest in air fresher. My bathtub looked like it was patched up. You could feel the wood underneath. It would be nice to eat something more nutrition then donuts. Maybe fruits or yogurt. You have to buy from the vending machine. My stay with your hotel was 8 days.I just expected a little more.

Review 58：As soon as we got there, the man next door was beating up his wife, if that wasn't enough of a traumatic experience, the police had to show up. It smells, the toiletries provided are the cheapest possible, everything looks dingy; the hotel itself is sketchy. But the $69 daily rate costed me almost $200 for 2 nights because of tax. Definitely not worth $200 for the 2 nights! Look elsewhere.

Review 60：I love the location of the hotel, my partner and I always like hitting up access 15 which was right down the street from the hotel. Not to mention the guys at the front were friendly and helpful and the rooms were so clean, we were so comfortable.

Review 65：When we first arrived, I remember the hotel was "pay as you stay". We didn't stay the night on Tuesday because of time delays, so we showed up Wednesday morning around 2am. Another first impression was the man was very rude and unkind to us. We asked about towels and blankets and he said "No extras". Once we got all of the BS payments in order since we had to pay for Tuesday (even though we weren't there Tuesday evening) we finally got to our room. We were tired and we wanted to take a shower. There were no towels in the bathroom. Seriously? I feel as if they spent most of their money on the "granite" sink and fridge that they don't care about the guests and what's most important, comfort and hospitality. The breakfast was those gas station donuts! This was a last minute choice, and sadly I did not get my money's worth. I'm very disappointed and you shouldn't stay here unless it's a last resort because it's too expensive for what you get.
Review 66：I liked the fact that the cleaning ladies were kind to us. I also enjoyed the fact it was in a fairly descent location. The last day the front desk clerk was so sweet. Huge improvement from the rude one the first day.

We were on a budget and checked out motel 6, super 8, and econolodge. Island Inn was far better thank motel 6 and econolodge, the room was similar to the super 8 room we saw but half the cost.

The hotel advertises a free breakfast every morning while you stay, but they only serve from 6-9 am. I'm sorry, but I'm not waking up that early in vacation. Our final day there, we made it to breakfast at 8:50. There were 4 mini chocolate donuts on a tray, half a container of orange juice, and coffee left. The manager, I'm guessing, asked us if we'd like some powdered donuts. We said yes. He gave us 2 packages of donuts. We also took the last of the orange juice, which was actually Sunny D. Every hotel I've stayed at that offers free breakfast had a variety of things- fruit, cereal, bagels, real juice, etc. This hotel seems to be going the cheapest route possible. My final complaint is that when we were ready to check out, we stood up front for 15 minutes before the manager came up there.
