The breakfast was not good, and there were two options, cereal or a breakfast biscuit. There are 4 floors and the only ice machine that works is on the 1st floor.
Review 62：I like the pool and large spa. My room remained very cold which is ideal in the summer months in Yuma. The location of the hotel is perfectly situated near the mall and several restaurants. I stayed for two nights and it was very affordable. It was quiet all night long.

The front desk clerk named Carlos asked methe purpose of my trip...when I responded "Leisure" hesarcastically said "REALLY". Then proceeded to wait foranother response from me. Like I was going to respond to his sarcasm.He was snobbish. Sarcastic. And obviously hates the town he lives inand his job. I dreaded seeing him when I checked out. Carlos shouldhave been happy I was there giving him a job instead of looking down onme for going to Yuma for my weekend. When I mentioned also at check inthat I did not write in the notes that I wanted a room facing the poolor a ground floor room Carlos said those are all upgrades. That becauseI used booking.Com and locked in my price I was not entitled to thosethings. He hastily..acted like he was doing me a favor..when he said hegave me a free upgrade by giving me a room that faced the pool. I'djust like to add that I noticed the entire place was empty. Nobusiness. I could understand if it was full. But why can't I have aview or be on the ground floor for one night? Would it have soinconvenienced someone?

Review 79：Additional cost for the pet. We have a very small pet and he sleeps in his own bed and is very clean. We also clean up after him outside, so to charge us for him was unnecessary. We do understand that some people don't care for the area as we do.

Review 109：Hotel/room looking shopworn. Could use an update. There's nowhere near pool area where pet owners and their pets can sit. As I am paying a pet fee, a few lawn chairs should be provided so pet owners can enjoy the outdoors too. (Some -- not all -- rooms have patios or balconies.)
Review 110：This is a large older hotel in an excellent location. There are numerous restaurants + shopping within walking distance. The pool, set amidst nice landscaping is large and much nicer than is usually found in similarly priced properties. Room was beside the freeway yet was quiet.

We returned at 3:30 thinking that they certainly would have rooms available and I was told 4:00. I was frustrated because both times I had to wait while someone else was given a room and checked in. So when this happened the second time at 3:30 I was told our "type" of room was not cleanen and available but other rooms were.

At breakfast the main eating area was very messy with food dropped on the floor and the counters needed attention. Staff should have paid more attention to this. We would not stay again because of the smell.

Review 129：Upon check-in, the front desk clerk upgraded our room due to my spouse's military service. We decided to spend two nights here instead of one. Our room was handicap accessible on the first floor with a sliding glass door to the pool/spa area.

If you have more than 4 or 5 people in there at a time, you really can't move freely .There is good setting outside of the breakfast area with a nice outside view.
