Review 1：Great location. Across the street from AJ's and Harborwalk attractions. Even though it's on a busy street it's nice and quiet. Waffle House is next door...what more can I say??

Review 2：Musty smell in room,electric to lights and alarm clock would shut off after half hour or so, therefore couldn't use clock, door to bathroom was ripped up along left side bottom. Breakfast wasn't much.

Review 20：Security was an issue. During our seven night stay, four of those nights had fighting coming from the parking lot and other rooms. Someone tried to vandalize a construction crews pick-up truck. At one point we considered leaving but decided to park our car in front of the office.

Review 21：Our housekeeper was very friendly and courteous and provided extra coffee per our request during the length of our stay. Breakfast was fresh everyday and well tended.

Review 26：The floor was absolutely disgustingly dirty! Took a shower, walked around, and then noticed my feet were black. This hotel REALLY needs to clean their carpets... NASTY!!! We left early because of this. The hotel is a little older with some updates, and we would've been fine if the floors weren't so nasty, the bathtub would've drained properly, and if our room would've been attended to.

Review 27：The location is not on the beach, but central to a lot of attractions. You can walk across the street or down the sidewalk to most things.

Review 28：Smokers were all over the place, so that's what our unit smelled like. All plugs were in a multi plug outlet out in the open...seemed a little unsafe. Noisy. About right for the price.

Review 30：I took a shower and after walking around the room for 10 minutes my feet were dirty. Wrinkles, rust, cracked ceiling with holes where it joined the wall. Then there was the late night waffle house traffic - so glad we had our young family in a room right under the stairs!

Review 34：The staff was very friendly and the manager was extremely accommodating. I ended up having to change my dates last minute, and she was more than willing to allow us to check in a day late. Smiles all around from the staff, and they were very prompt at helping with any and every little detail.

Review 35：It's an older motel, but for the difference in price a 1/2 mile walk to Harborview and Margaritaville was totally worth it. The Waffle House in the parking lot had some of the nicest waitresses I've had in a long time and my husband sent his eggs back 2 days in a row

That was part of my spending money, i'm still waiting for it to clear. Also the hotel is dated it needs updating. We were told that during peak season it sells for $249.00 a night, not worth it!!! We paid $69.00, that's what it's really worth.

Review 52：We stayed there August 13-16 and it was the worst experience I have ever had. We drove 11 hours from KY to FL and had never been to Destin before. The room we stayed in didn't look anything like the pictures and it smelled like mildew and mold. The cleanliness was horrible. We went out for dinner on the first night only to come back to a roach infested room. We didn't notice them when first arrived because we immediately changed and spent the day at the beach. When we returned from dinner there were roaches everywhere. On the walls, dressers and nightstands. As we looked around the room we saw them in the corners of the room and discovered how nasty and dirty the room really was. There was old food under the beds, dirty underwear and socks. On top of it the pool was disgusting. It was also very dirty and I wouldn't allow my children to swim in it. When I tried to speak to the staff about the condition of the room they were extremely rude. They could have cared less. They told me there was nothing they could do and told me if I didn't like it I could check out and stay somewhere else. Which I couldn't because all of the hotels were full in the area. They didn't offer any solution and didn't even discount or give us a night for free for our troubles. I am appalled at the condition of the hotel and the rudeness of the staff. The hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt. I am extremely dissatisfied with booking.com's advertisement of this hotel because it isn't true. And I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay and feel like my entire payment for the stay should be refunded. Hopefully the better business bureau can and will help me with that.

You could see the splatter from the spray on the walls, phone, TV, etc. Bugs in globe of light fixtures, shower head came off while showering. Place is right next to liquor store, will not stay again, luckily it was just an inexpensive grab some sleep layover spot. Staff was good, just a run down older hotel in a party beach area.

My advice: do not stay in the rooms with multiple beds if you are a single person or couple because it seems that these types of rooms are all on the same side of the building and you WILL hear your neighbors and their loud children! haha

Review 66：This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. The room was extremely clean and upkept, and I wasn't concerned with my son running around without shoes. He also absolutely enjoyed the pool and we spent most of our stay at the pool. The bed was very comfortable as we're the pillows. I'd definitely book here again!

Review 69：The sheets and pillows were fealty and yellow. Me and my boyfriend had to run to the local walmart to buy sheets and pillows, Lysol and bleach. It was just nasty the windows were steamed up. The fee breakfast is not accurate and it's not clean enough to even think about eating or drinking anything. Everything was old dirty and out of date. There is only 1 ice maker which is @ the office. Which was ridiculous. Who wants to come on vacation away from home & deal with that.

The hotel is not even close to what is represented in the pictures online, old, musty, rundown. Yes we have pictures to prove this complaint.

Review 96：Not a great hotel! Our shower drain didn't work and our toilet wouldn't flush and acted clogged the whole time. When we complained about the toilet, the staff gave us a plunger and asked us to plung it! The plunging didn't work because the whole toilet was malfunctioning. The breakfast was ok, because of the waffle maker, and location was fine, but I would seriously suggest spending the extra money for a nicer hotel.

Review 97：Other motel guests were noisy into the night. Popcorn ceiling in our room was peeling off in several places. Faucet in bathtub/shower would work only on shower--couldn't get it to switch. One lamp didn't work at all--very little lighting.

Garbage can had mold in it and the sofa table had dirt caked up in every corner. I had to wear socks at all time, which also turned black on the bottom.

Review 134：Poor lighting. There weren't enough outlets and nowhere to plug inlamp that was there. You have to wear shoes while inside or bottoms offeet turn black. Too many appliances plugged into one outlet extender. Inoticed this, but turned on coffee pot anyways. After making coffee weturned it off, even checked twice. When we left and came back they wereairing out our room. Maintenance guy was nice when he told us coffee potwas left on and it melted all wires, ruined microwave, outlet andfridge. I told him we made sure it was off, light was off and he saidthey're supposed to shut off automatically anyways, not really ourfault. So, we were shocked when we were charged an extra 236.00 at checkout. I explained that we turned it off, but it was their word againstours. We lost. If you do stay here, which I don't recommend,don't use any appliances!!
