Review 1：The shuttle van was broken down so I had to pay for a cab from the airport and back. The room and facilities were pretty beat up. The breakfast was subpar. The TV was 25 years old.

Review 5：Overall my room was dirty and worn out. Holes in the carpet, stains on the blanket. The bathroom was the only part of the room that felt clean. I did not feel safe here because the building was accessible without a room key.

Review 9：The room wasn't clean, there was broken glass on the floor of the balcony, the AC unit was really loud when it cycled on and off, the building itself was really old-school, the breakfast was a joke, the bed was hard with only two small pillows - I could go on and on. Never again.
Review 10：The landscaping, no locks on exterior doors, the desk clerk said the room was not ready until I agreed to pay $35 for an early check in. So she basically lied to my face. The rooms are old looking.This property is way over priced for the quality. I wouldn't waste my money here again. Reminds me of the movie "The Shining".

Review 12：the cleanliness of the rooms and the facilities was not good. Cobwebs in various places, dirty halls, stained furniture, dirty balcony, and peeling paint. Front desk asked how the room was and when i let them know the room was dusty they shrugged it off...no apologies

Review 15：All the people working there were great. We got in about 3 am on a flight from Bradley and the desk clerk was awake and cheerful. The next morning, a different desk clerk was very helpful
Review 16：Their website says in 3 places they have a 24 hour complimentary shuttle, they dont. Their clerk at the front desk quickly shut down that idea. There is no elevator, the room was not clean. I sat our 11 month old baby on the floor for a minute and she had trash in her mouth. There was a take out box under the bed and something sticky on two different counter spaces.

Review 18：The place was old and lacked any updates. They would benefit from a maid service with attention to detail. Our room was dirty and musty. The key card reader was rusty and took about 10 swipes to finally read card and open. The sink was broken and shot water out in a very erratic stream that got everywhere. The breakfast was a nice thought, but poorly executed. Some bagged bread loaves a toaster some unappealing pastries and empty milk and coffee which they seemed reluctant to fill at 8am when breakfast ended at 10 the coffee cups had lids next to them that did not fit.

Review 20：1. We chose this hotel because of the indoor pool - but it was cold, the room it was in was cold, the corridors were unheated. 2. The TV didn't work - could only see the edges of the pictures. We asked for help, but no one came by. 3. We switched off the heater, but it kept coming off and on all night, and it was so noisy that we didn't sleep.

Review 22：No wi-fi. Pool ice cold. Worker said they were out of but ordering almost everything for their breakfast offering. Outside of building falling down in places. Bathroom lightbulbs burning ceilings. Cigarette whole in the blankets in the non smoking rooms. Staff very unfriendly or willing to help. We had 3 separate rooms and all of us used my credit card to reverse but paid with different credit cards upon arrival. The card use to reserve was also charged on top of accepting payments so now I need to wait 14 days for a credit. Unwilling to take my card and reverse/refund. Reserved king beds but they had non. My daughter bought candy and accidentally left it on the counter. When she went back to get it she was told she would have to buy another because she was unsure if she was the one who left the candy behind, which she found. Why would she go back for it if it wasn't hers. Just an awful experience, we tried to get another hotel but were unable to cancel this one.
Review 23：It needs a lot of exterior work. Cleanliness should be a higher standard. Felt like people may have been living there and that was uncomfortable. The continental breakfast should have higher standards. And the people servicing the breakfast were not following health guidelines for proper food service according to the FDA.
Review 24：We liked the staff and the pool area seemed nice although we didn't use it. We also liked the easy accessible location.
Review 25：They have no WiFi, they had ice cold pool water, unsecured entries staircase had an odor. No ice bucket, . No refrigerator. If you stay more than a day, you had to requests housekeeping to give you full service or they will just change towel and empty trash.

Review 27：Room wasn't clean and ac took awhile to kick on. I had reserved a room with a king size bed upon arrival the only king size beds were handicap rooms which we accepted but there were marks on the wall spiders in the restroom and it looked like the floor needed vacuuming

Review 30：We wanted a relaxing weekend getaway and the website for this hotel is false advertising. The indoor pool was freezing and they said there was a free hot breakfast with up to four hot items...there arent any hot items. We asked about it and the receptionist said they no longer offer that. We wouldn't have book this hotel if we were aware of this. I sent an email about this and noone ever got back to me. I will never stay there again. Completely false advertising on the webpage.
Review 31：The first room they gave us was dirty, the carpet was wet the room smelled . The second was better but had to switch tvs cause the first didn't work, the housekeepers didn't leave any toilet paper or extra towels that we asked for. So when we came back to our hotel room after a very long and late day we had to call down to get toilet paper and towels cause we had none!!! Very disappointed

Housekeeping is approximate, breakfast is minimal and the hotel, which is being turned around after bankruptcy, is a bit of a ghost town. Management was sympathetic and helpful and made amends by offering one night free. The place has potential but there is lots of space for improvement.

For$121/night I don't expect to find black mold in the rooms,stains on carpet, dust everywhere, a broken remote, etc. The pool wasfreezing, my daughter loves to swim & I normally can't get herout of the pool but she couldn't take it & was only in for about5 - 10 mins. There's two tacky chairs in the entrance are that areleft over from their Howard Johnson days that need to go. Littlelighting outside so it's very uncomfortable going to & from yourcar. Last year we stated there and the beds were awesome, the beds theyhave now seemed to have come from a used Hotel auction somewhere. Wedidn't care for the guy at the front desk he seemed to enjoy makingit difficult to check in. The "free breakfast" bar wassomething you would expect to find at a cheap hotel not one where wepaid $121/night!! Last year we had a great experience there, thisyear it was terrible due to "new management" changes. We willnever stay there again!!
