Review 1：A lovely hotel slap bang in the middle of town and close to shops, restaurants and bars. Our room and bathroom were enormous and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was extensive and there was plenty of choice.

Review 6：On arrival, the room smelled foul. A rancid smell of drains and sewers. Clearly a problem somewhere. Likewise a leak from the shower that soaked the bathroom floor. Fortunately we had booked a large 'luxury' room. This was in reality by no means large, and therefore I can only assume that the 'normal' rooms are minuscule.

Review 7：Hotel Quartier Latin is well situated in a delightful small town, with good car parking, close to shops, restaurants and parks. It has an attractive albeit small swimming pool, and a good though fairly expensive spa. Thankfully, the hotel is very quiet and the breakfast buffet good. The brasserie serves good cocktails and meals and stays open until late.

Review 8：- there is a charge of €5 per person for use of the swimming pool; even for children although they are only allowed in between 18:00 and 20:00. When we questionec this the charge was quickly removed, which is good. However, it is an unneccessary nuisance. A hotel of this calibre should not charge for pool usage. - even though children are allowed in the pool between 18:00 and 20:00 they were asked not to make noise. This is not fair on them and in this case it is better to be clear at the outset and not allow children in the pool alltogether. - restaurant should have a children's menu.

Review 9：- the hotel had a charge station for electric cars, where we could charge our car for free; - great restaurant with excellent food; we had lovely diners; - excellent breakfast; with a good choice of food; - comfortable, spacious family room; - friendly staff.

Review 10：The hotel seems to be on several different levels and 3 elevators get you to parts you probably don't want to go! Not one of the lifts serve the Garage however. The restaurant is automated and variation to the menu is not an option.

Review 12：I booked this hotel because its facilities: sauna, swimming pool, spa etc. Despite on payment it was ok but...the oerning time of these facilities is definitively NOT suitable for a traveller: 10-20h. I could not use them. I also was a bit surprise to find the WC room separate, without bidet and without lavatory! I know this is a traditional use in this part of Europe, but I say it is not a good use. This is not hygienic.

Review 13：This hotel is really comfortable. Very good room and wonderful bed. Staff very professional and welcoming. Impressive building (an ancient monastry). Parking for free. Just in the centre of the town, which is a pleasant place.

Review 17：If we have to mention something, it would be that the rooms are rather dark, because of the dark carpet and the aircon is switched off centrally. When one wants to use it, you have to ask to switch it on.

Review 28：Very very nice hotel, not modern, not old in the decoration, well-furnished. The persons are very cheerful. In the room, the system of air-conditionning is perfect: not blowing to you directly when you are sleeping! The situation is excellent: in the centre of Marche-en-Famenne. And the breakfast is the best I have ever eaten in a hotel: fresh fruits, fresh juices, croissants, mellow scrambled eggs (not dry at all) and the sublime "tarte au café" (coffee pie)! All of this in a splendid small city!

Review 29：Hotel is located in the center of town, walking distance from key attraction and restaurants. The staff was very delightful , warm and kin to help. The room, was quite and comfortable although it was located above the hotel restaurant. Great Breakfast !!!

Review 39：1. It is not mentioned ANYWHERE in the ad (on Booking.com) that SPA access for the hotel guests casts 20€ per person and with 2.5 hours limit ! Beyond the fact that for the room rate they charge, one can definitely expect the access to the SPA to be included and unlimited in time (as has been the case in all hotels with SPA I have been in my life), hiding it in the adverts of the hotel is being dishonest and is very disappointing (many other guests commented on that too). To make things worse, we could not actually use the SPA at all, even paid, as it was fully booked ! The reason - the hotel allows people from outside the hotel to use the SPA (paid of course). We find that totally unacceptable. The room we had was less than what we would expect for the room rate, the water flow in the shower - merely a trickle... not good enough. We shall not return to this hotel unfortunately for the reasons mentioned above and suggest Booking.com to check more thoroughly the completeness of the adverts of the hotels they publish on the website.

Review 40：Staff - extremely polite and friendly, especially a waiter called George in the restaurant of the hotel, that has a great sense of humour and so adds entertainment to the meal... The area is nice and location very good. Excellent bed. The quality of the food in the restaurant is excellent.

Review 41：Rooms in the old part of the hotel could receive a renovation (especially) the bathrooms. Please add more power sockets to charge our portable devices. Offer at least the swimming pool in the spa free of charge to the guests of the hotel.

Review 42：Staff in the reception was so helpful and resourceful with all our requests! The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the town. Private parking is available without prior reservation, spacious rooms, nice lounges and restaurants, nice bar, spa facilities accessible from within the hotel. Good wi-fi internet connection. Vintage cars and bicycles available for rent. Excellent food in the restaurant with great terrace. Our room was really warm on a cold night with no need for heating. Well deserved the 4-stars!

Review 43：A strange fishy smell permeated the corridors. Slightly dated furniture. The swimming pool is just big enough to fit 2 people; three is definitely a crowd so the picture was taken with a very wide angle lens.

Review 112：I had booked 4 rooms, room only rate. When we checked out breakfast had been charged to each bill and receptionist told me that I had to tell them we did not require breakfast when I checked in, I was never asked. Breakfast 18 euro too expensive for what you get. After a DISCUSSION she took the charge off the bills as if she was doing me a favour. They have rooms with breakfast included but she did not except I booked room only.
