Reviews for dusitD2 hotel constance pasadena

Review 1:Hotel under construction. The noise woke me up earlier than I wished to get up. But should be done in a year. Cost of the parking and room service was a bit high.

Review 2:Loved the look of the hotel. Very fun place to stay. Valet parking. Bar staff and patrons were awesome and a lot of fun!

Review 3:Room size is small. The closet and dresser space are tiny.

Review 4:The staff is amazing! Each staff member was attentive, informative and willing to please. If they didn't know the answer, they would find out for us. Keep up the great work! We really enjoyed our rides in the Tuck-tuck. What a great service--free rides within a 3-mile radius. I enjoyed that the hotel was historic. The restoration is well done. I would love to see the facility when the new addition is complete.

Review 5:The breakfast was not good : stale, cold frittata; fruit not refreshed; stale breads.

Review 6:All the staff were friendly and welcoming and the overall effect is a lovely stay in a glamorous setting.

Review 7:Restaurant staff was rude and food was horrible

Review 8:Property is amazing. Pictures match. Close to the best restaurants on Lake. Room is fabulous with all the bells and whistles. Awesome bed, tv, shower but restaurant food and service were horrible The remaining staff is amazing. Always smiling and welcoming!

Review 9:Amazing staff - wish parking was on-site.

Review 10:Everything- we've stayed here before and as long as the rates remain reasonable we will continue to stay here when we come to Pasadena. Only wish parking was free or discounted. Restaurant and happy hour excellent to have in the hotel- great food! Love the innovative Memphis style interior design.

Review 11:The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is modern, beautiful and hi-tec. The rooms are well equipped and loved the Keurig in the room for a morning coffee or tea. We can't wait to go back.

Review 12:There is some construction but it really didn't bother us since we were out most of the day anyway.

Review 13:The location was great, good shopping, cafes and central to old Pasadena but less busy. Everyone working there had a great attitude and our king room was small but perfect. It had everything we needed.

Review 14:Rooms are very LOUD. You can hear everyone around you as if they're in your room. Virtually impossible to sleep at this hotel

Review 15:The rooms are very well decorated and location is great B

Review 16:The room is relatively small. Cleaner came to clean the room before the checkout time on the day we were supposed to leave. Our room was next to the construction happening at the next property, so no view.

Review 17:The hotel is clean and modern. Location in Pasadena is convenient. Like the hi-tech setup of the room. Front desk personnels are all very pleasant throughout of stay.

Review 18:There is construction going on next door, so I imagine this is why the rates are so good right now.

Review 19:The happy hour in the bar is good, and the services are great.

Review 20:Dinning closed very early and the it was not possible to get anything delivered until morning. Clarify on website that parking is additional cost.

Review 21:The hot tub

Review 22:No self parking. Valet only, but it was convenient to be able to get off and not have to worry about looking for my car.

Review 23:Loved the room, bar downstairs, location was great for shopping.

Review 24:My only complaint is the parking is Valet. $25 a night extra. I don't like leaving my car with strangers but they assured me that it's 24hour valet but still made coming and going cumbersome.

Review 25:I really liked the area. So many eateries like Urth Caffe and Lemonade. Not to mention all the shopping that can be done. The room felt luxurious and was hard to leave cause I just wanted to lounge around and relax.

Review 26:The hotel was close to my family, shopping, convenient to places to eat. I love the way you could send your request for items needed and the staff was excellent and very courteous.

Review 27:Parking situation, but they are building parking lots for their customers

Review 28:Hard to find the perfect hotel. This is really close. Great design and real new and done with high quality. A great bar with a cool barkeeper. This hotel we will book in future again

Review 29:Valet parking is expensive and there is little street parking available in the neighborhood beyond 2 hour parking.

Review 30:The rooms were contemporary, spotless, had a very well designed layout, great showers, and really comfortable beds. To address other reviews: while a bathroom wall was glass, it was a non-issue as the frosting makes them completely opaque.

Review 31:Being next to the service room because it was noisy.

Review 32:Beautiful place and in a convenient location. Very close to restaurants and public transportation.

Review 33:One of the elevators was broken, the working on had a scary point between level 6 and 7. Staff in the morning not as friendly.

Review 34:It was beautiful and the staff when we got there was friendly and helpful.

Review 35:Street front valet parking is the only option but the service was excellent.

Review 36:Fabulous interior and room design with multiple choice indirect lighting. Should win some kind of design award.

Review 37:The only small complaint is that we could hear people out on the street talking very loudly. could also here doors opening and closing at all hours of the night

Review 38:The property is decorated beautifully...the rooms were comfortable, well thought out and extremely clean. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating...will definitely come back!

Review 39:The hotel atmosphere is very relaxing the staff excellent and the rooms are beautiful we choose your hotel on the recommendation of friends we loved it and we'll be back !

Review 40:The car valet got chewing gum on the driver's side floor mat upon returning the car.

Review 41:Hotel amenities were very nice and the staff was very helpful.

Review 42:The structure of the room. I cannot believe the bathroom was pretty much in the same room as the bedroom. The doors were half open; no privacy if there was a second person in the same room.

Review 43:The rooms are on the small side, no ice machines close by but the desk person brought ice to our room. No real amenities but the pool is under construction and we were told they are constructing bigger rooms.

Review 44:I liked the contemporary feel of the rooms in an historic building. Felt very safe and the rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable, for us old farts which is rare. Didn't try the food but the lounge was well styled and lit and the servers were congenial. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Review 45:Japanese tub area lacked a little style. Glass on balcony very dirty. There is no kettle!!! No where in the fridge to put my own drinks !! ie. Starbucks Frapa's etc.

Review 46:Room size, balcony size and view. Bed was great,

Review 47:The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. Very helpful when needed and always greeted us with a "hello" or "have a nice day/evening". We were VERY impressed with this hotel.

Review 48:There is some construction going on out my window, but it didn't bother me as they didn't get started until after I was already up.

Review 49:Beautiful Property and great value

Review 50:the room was too Noisy and too small for that price... no information was given before arriving regarding the construction work just near the hotel

Review 51:clean and nice service

Review 52:the hotel is expanding so there is construction going on , but we still loved the hotel and will return.

Review 53:Great staff, loved the modern decor and location.

Review 54:Construction for parking & pool under way, which is greatly needed. But the website didn't specify valet parking was really the only option. And usually hotels offer a discount if it has construction going on, especially when it's right outside a guests' window. So the price was too high. It will be worth it when construction complete.

Review 55:Staff was great: very attentive & respectful. Bed was great. Linens were superior. Plenty of electrical outlets in room.

Review 56:The parking .... No parking only valet ... Staff didn't know answers to common questions like where , had , atm and dinner options

Review 57:The hotel was very clean and nice

Review 58:Would like the price to drop since the faculty didn't have pool or gym on site...for that price it should have more and more convenient to reach all of the amenities

Review 59:Staff was ok not excellent I messaged the staff from the mini iPad in the room to get my car ready and someone to come up to the room to help with the luggages and all called to ask but the staff told me she didn't receive the message. Then she promised that she'll take care of the request. Sounded professional but didn't follow up with getting the car ready at the valet. She did send a help to my room with the luggages but my car wasn't ready when I went outside...I had called at least an hour prior Thanks

Review 60:bananas foster bread pudding was missing the bananas - all other food was perfect

Review 61:location to Rose Bowl- modern room - clean room - friendly staff- great food- etc...

Review 62:A little noisy next to service area, but I'm sure that has to do with the particular room I was in 521 than other experiences throughout hotel

Review 63:Location, helpful staff, attention to detail.

Review 64:No on-site restaurant or room service, tho breakfast buffet was excellent. But my 90 - year-old mother was just out of hospital with pneumonia, and we needed this. We moved to a nearby Holiday Inn the next AM. Also, $15 per day parking fee. And that isn't valet.

Review 65:Fresh & modern, Excellent staff

Review 66:They were not very good at making sure everything is replenished on day two. I ran out of coffee cups. They cleaned the room and replaced the toiletries except coffee cups. Also I like a microwave in a room. keeps my coffee hot! The tablet was confusing! needs to be updated.

Review 67:I liked my room (standard king). I like the simple yet elegant decor. I liked the way the space is used. It looks small but I had all the space I needed to move around comfortably. I like the counter in front of the mirror. I wear make up before I go out and it was a very nice area to spread all my stuff otherwise that area can also be used for computer works. I like the bathroom/toilet. I have been to many hotels and this is really very different in a best way. I like the wall by the top of head of the bed. I like the yellow color too! I like the USB plug on the wall. I liked everything.

Review 68:Rooms were a little on the small side. It seemed as though one elevator was in service- long wait.

Review 69:Love the design and amenities! Drinks at the bar were amazing.

Review 70:Room was small sq. footage wise & rates were expensive, valet only parking.

Review 71:Upscale bouquet hotel, lots of modern items like am ipad that had many helpful options. Large beautiful shower, but now tub.

Review 72:There was a mix up with payment- as in I thought I had prepaid, turns out the hotel hadn't taken the money- just a shock the day of checkout, as we'd been there 9 days! The walk to the gym was probably a good 3/4 blocks- needs the spa to be finished.

Review 73:The staff were very helpful, and friendly. The hotel is quite modern inside having been refurbished. Great air con, lighting, media in rooms. Good position for the town and shopping, with nice places to eat and drink. The hotel bar is very nice, and the staff are superb- If the spa gets finished this hotel will be outstanding- well done

Review 74:The valet parking is very expensive and no one tells you that one can park on the street overnight almost anywhere for only $3 if one buys a permit from a city machine 4 blocks away. The breakfast is unremarkable - the selection is limited, the quantities small and it is quite pricey.

Review 75:The renovation of this historical hotel resulted in a beautiful, elegant and comfortable facitlity. The rooms, although on the small side, are luxuriously appointed, the beds excellent and staff is terrific.

Review 76:Valet damaged vehicle , rooms are comfortable but not large the room my wife and I stayed in did not even have a separate bathroom the other two rooms that my children stayed in were normal sized with separate bathrooms

Review 77:Location to convention center was great rooms comfortable. Staff very accommodating.

Review 78:There's a vacant lot next door due to construction ... which doesn't make for much of a view from the west side of the building ... but that's nobody's fault and won't last forever. If you really need a view, ask for a room NOT facing west.

Review 79:The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely appointed.

Review 80:NO PARKING, NO POOL BUT POOL IS COMING SOON, 250 DOLLAR DEPOSIT EACH NIGHT YOU STAY. THE WEBSITE DOES NOT TELL YOU THAT THE DEPOSIT IS THAT MUCH PER NIGHT.

Review 81:THE HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL AND VERY MODERN!

Review 82:There were a lack of facilities (gym etc) but they are currently developing the second phase of the hotel with these things included.

Review 83:Hotel was immaculate, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and well furnished.

Review 84:No free continental breakfast, valet parking and the charge for parking. No bath tub.

Review 85:Room was very clean and well appointed. Bathroom and amenities were excellent. Things you might forget were available (Q-tips, cotton balls, etc)

Review 86:The ambience in the lacks warmth. The rate excludes breakfast. The courtyard should have more comfortable tables and chairs.

Review 87:Its in a good location and within walking distance of good eateries and shops. There is a nice courtyard. There are plans for the hotel to be made larger and have an outdoor pool. It is new and very clean.

Review 88:Pleasant customer service. Always making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Upgraded our room because we wanted a tub and it was excellent. Worth the money.

Review 89:Rooms could have been a little bit bigger but there were two beds in my room and I only needed one, so if I had a king sized bed, the room may have been better.

Review 90:Rooms were very modern and comfortable.

Review 91:We originally booked a room with balcony which was jot available so was moved to a different room which was beautiful. But, There was a party on that night and the room was located at the top of the stairs by the bar, so we had no sleep !! we were then moved to our room with a balcony, which is the worst room I have ever stayed in !! The 'balcony' was a minuscule piece of shelf which over looked a building site. The room was tiny and had the toilet and the shower in the room with 3/4 glass doors. Not for the shy !! We were given complimentary breakfast which was so so but the waiting staff was so busy, there was only one lady, that she was running around and made us feel like we were a hinderence. Lastly upon our arrival, we enthusiastically greeted in the hotel by a ported who offered to show us to our rooms and give us a tour of the hotel, we explained that we did not money for a tip as yet, as we had just landed - he walked off..nice

Review 92:The staff, especially the valet staff, were so helpful and friendly. They gave recommendations of where to go with addresses and directions

Review 93:All good, nothing bad

Review 94:This is our 2nd stay at this wonderful hotel. The enthusiastic staff, hotel and valet have all been top notch. The rooms are spacious with iPads to request anything from your car from valet, room service or extra towels.

Review 95:They were perfectly nice, but they made us wait for everything. It took them 45 minutes just to grant us access to our room—even though I had called the night before to confirm, and the room was already clean when we arrived. One excuse after another.

Review 96:It's a nice hotel. Very modern. Very clean.

Review 97:The internet was exceptionally slow. I didn't need wi-fi during my stay though, so I did not check it every night or bring up the slowness when it did occur, so it might have been a one-off incident I encountered. No self-parking at the hotel, and not a lot of options to do so nearby (only found one within walking distance that explicitly said they did overnight parking).

Review 98:The location was good, but not as great as say The Courtyard just a short drive West of this property. Still a good amount of restaurants within walking distance, a Rite-Aid just down the street, and the service is beyond amazing. They really know how to make you feel welcome and they keep the place extraordinarily clean.

Review 99:Walls were a bit thin. We could hear our neighbors and people in the hallway.

Review 100:The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. We had a great nights sleep.

Review 101:Every member of the staff was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Appreciated the turn down service with fresh towels, made bed when we were out to dinner, as we were allowed early check in!

Review 102:Rooftop pool was under construction and not open. There was no gym, they tried to call over to the Sheraton and let me use their factilities but it was several blocks away...not convenient at all and this was not disclosed at the time I booked my reservation. Breakfast was ok, I ordered the egg, bacon and crossaint sandwhich. No bacon came on the sandwhich, potatoes came out after I finished my breakfast and the veggies were cold that came on the plate. Disappointing for a $15 breakfast.

Review 103:Bed was comfy, staff was nice and welcoming.

Review 104:The shower heads could not be adjusted for low flow conservation and the dining services were in transition so service was very slow. Better to have closed the service than have customers wait so long unaware of the problem.

Review 105:Incredibly friendly staff! Beautiful decor great bar and service staff, valets, housekeeping and desk staff.

Review 106:I don't think you should charge such a high daily rate to hold forincidentals. .

Review 107:The staff are AMAZING!They will keep your business flourishing soappreciate them. The rooms are very comfortable and the decor is verycontemporary/modern. The town car to the airport is an addedbonus for those who don't want the hassle of shuttle buses andearly starts.

Review 108:The ipad inside the room was a nice touch, but every time I attempt to use the ipad to retrieve my car, I had an issue. So I had to wait extra longer than usual for my vehicle. In addition, I opted for the balcony view and was expecting a decent view, instead I got a view of an empty lot. Also wished this hotel have a gym and a pool. Another thing I dislike about the room that I stayed in was the layout. The toilet and the shower did not have any privacy. Yes I did stay with my significant other but certain things I do in the bathroom I wish my significant would not hear or see.

Review 109:The hotel was really modern. I enjoyed the Japanese toilet. The staff was really friendly.

Review 110:In the pictures the rooms looked bigger. The touchpad room control settings didn't work, and had to use the manual room controls which was fine.

Review 111:I liked how the place is clean and modern. The manager there was extremely helpful. Me and my girl also enjoyed the variety of cable channels. I also like the free amenities the room came with. I would stay there again.

Review 112:The decor in the restaurant and lobby just didn't match well. The glass enclosed toilet in the room left much to desired in terms of privacy despite looking hip.

Review 113:The price, location, and helpful staff

Review 114:It is absolutely ridiculous this hotel charges $250 for "incidentals" in addition to what your room is. I still have not gotten my money back from them. I've never heard of a hotel charging so much for incidentals. Staff at front desk are terribly rude as well.

Review 115:Nothing.

Review 116:That parking costs $26 a night, but our car was brought to us whenever we needed it and we had to pay just once The hotel shares parking with another hotel down the street.

Review 117:We enjoyed the excellent service. My husband is handicapped and they were very accommodating and helpful.

Review 118:Ac didn't work 3 of the 5 nights

Review 119:iPad controls were great to set up housekeeping. Staff was pleasant and valet was prompt. Location is good- walking distance to eateries and basics

Review 120:Bellman just started helping us with bags without asking if we needed assistance, this made my girlfriend very uncomfortable.Valet $23.00 is way to much especially when you have NO self parking.I will never stay with you again.oh by the way I have been in the hotel business for 37 years.I will not be returning to your hotel.

Review 121:The only down side is if you are a "new" couple or are sharing the spa room with a friend there is not much privacy between the bathroom and the bedroom. Of course if your in a LTR silly things like that are not of much concern so my boyfriend and I were quite comfortable!

Review 122:The staff was so welcoming evertime we exited and entered the building, including the valet. The ammenities were AMAZING as well. Everything is controlled via ipad which is a nice touch. The deep soaking tub was heaven for me and my boyfriend was very amused with the bidet... now he wants one for our house :). The bed and pillows provided a rejuvinating slumber as well.

Review 123:The valet parking is a quite expensive and it could take more than 10 minutes to bring your car. The breakfast is very good but quite expensive.

Review 124:The Hotel has pretty new rooms, with a comfy bed, and huge Tv with Directv. The location of the Hotel is great and nice staff

Review 125:Crazy Decor? My husband said "at least it's not boring". The room had one paper cup for coffee. We needed two. Everything else is so classy that a couple real mugs would be even better.

Review 126:The staff, the building, the state of the art amenities

Review 127:Noisy at night people & my room was on the street. Paid cash for valet but staff charged my visa very upset. I have ny receipt. Not cool esp when i pointed it out not to let it happen

Review 128:The staff, the room was very clean

Review 129:delay in retrieving vehicles due to lack of onsite parking.

Review 130:Very humble staff; can't do enough to make your stay a stress-free experience; very accommodating from front desk to housekeeping. LOVE THE DUSITD2 !!

Review 131:They should have in-room dinning menu available in the room, but I don't see the in-room dinning menu in my room.

Review 132:The room is very modern and clean. It makes me feel very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay with dusitD2.

Review 133:The doors could be a bit more soundproofed. I had a couple loud neighbors who felt compelled to chat loudly in the hall during the night. Luckily they moved on. Also, it'd be nice if the shutters opened for full sunlight in the bedroom.

Review 134:the room was bright, clean, and very chic. Loved the iPad for central control of room functions, and the great lighting options - especially the bathroom mirror light which was a gentle blessing in the early morning. Modern electronics with ample outlets and USB ports for chargers. Bed was super comfy...and the room was overall quiet. I'd definitely come back again.

Review 135:Not a thing, no complaints!

Review 136:I loved the trendy, updated décor of this hotel and the rooms. While the room was small, it was cozy and super comfortable. I really like the ease of the valet service and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Review 137:The staff, the decor, the beautiful bathroom, and comfortable bed make this the perfect stop in old town Pasadena. The iPad in the room is genius. Lovely oasis!

Review 138:Would have liked breakfast and parking or at least one of these included in daily price. Our room although small was comfortable, but could have been a touch larger.

Review 139:Overall comfort and ultra- modern interiors that made the room fun to be in.Very cheery and friendly staff

Review 140:The forced valet parking and the delay in receiving the car. It is also not as close to Old Town as I would have liked, but it is walking distance.

Review 141:It is a clean and modern hotel.
