Reviews for La Fuente Inn & Suites

Review 1:The wifi didn't work couldn't get my email done. The heater made a bad noise at 3am had to unplug it and deal with a cold room till the time to get up. Took my complaint to the desk in writing and gave to the desk clerk who didn't read it didn't apologize didn't care that I was uncomfortable most of the night and lost sleep!

Review 2:Nice room large comfortable bed, room had a sofa.

Review 3:Love this place! We stay here a couple times per year and the staff is consistently excellent. The rooms are clean and nicely stocked with toiletries and always clean and fresh. The grounds are tropical feeling with a lovely pool area and the bbq area is very nice too.

Review 4:The only thing was we were on the first floor and we could hear the person above us. Especially the walking around. The bathtub was rusting by the spigot?

Review 5:Staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and well furnished. Motel grounds were safe and well groomed. Breakfast was good food and staff was well trained.

Review 6:I didn't have a bad experience per say. I just wish the crib that I got wasn't so rickety. The girl didn't know how to set it up either. I didn't feel comfortable with it so I just made due with what I had. I didn't use the crib.

Review 7:The bed and linens were incredibly comfortable. Plus, the staff was extremely accommodating. They had complementary food and drinks mornings and evenings. The grills were clean and had a beautiful courtyard.

Review 8:Wireless internet said "Open" when I tried to log in. Then it would tell me that no internet connection could be made. It never gave me the chance to enter the password. Also, the channel selection for the TVs in our suite were plenty. Yet, when entered, the channels did not match what was seen on the TV on many of the channels.

Review 9:Hmm one of the ladies in the front desk was kind of rude

Review 10:I liked how pretty it was and beds are super comfortable I recommend people staying here more beautiful at night (:

Review 11:We booked a 2 night stay & had a first floor King Suite. The peopleabove us starting stomping back & forth around 9 pm and lasted allnight long. Neither of us got any sleep & I was upset that peoplecould be so inconsiderate of the people below. The next morning I talkedto the hotel staff about the bad situation. They told me that the peopleupstairs had two large dogs. I think that may have been part of theproblem. Both dogs must have romped & played all night. We weremoved to an upstairs room for the second night. We found out the floorsare very squeaky & that there must not have been any insulation inthe walls or floors. We could hear talking in the rooms next to us &below. As we walked in the room each foot step made loud squeakingnoises. This place had a very good rating per your information. Thinkyou should re-evaluate the place. I will never, never be staying thereagain !!!!!!

Review 12:The staff were very friendly and helpful. Each person had a greatpersonality. I think because of them, the hotel is still in business.Nice breakfast served daily,

Review 13:The door stuck, so it was not fun. I could not find a direct website to the hotel, so I booked through booking.com which cost more.

Review 14:Great free happy hour from 5-7pm with free mixed drinks as well. The staff were very welcoming.

Review 15:It's a beautiful relaxing place that is affordable, breakfasts are the best and the happy hour is relaxing and we always meet wonderful people, many we have met on previous stays.

Review 16:Absolutely the best value for my money of any property I've lodged when in Yuma. Beautiful interior courtyard with clean large pool. There are gas grills in the courtyard. All entrances to rooms are inside lock gates. Beds comfortable. Rooms clean. I had an extraordinary low rate offer that went up $20 the next time I came through.

Review 17:The beds are very tired and the rooms are on need of electrical repair but other than that they were clean and secure.

Review 18:Staff are very friendly. Happy hour is a great get together. Breakfast is good.

Review 19:I needed a clean, quiet room for my brother to stay while traveling. He was very tired upon check-in and the front desk gal took great care of him. He was checked in quickly and conveniently, as I paid for his room with my credit card through booking.com. He said the room was very nice, relaxing, and comfortable. The breakfast served was real good as well.

Review 20:Dislike the pet fee; my pets are cleaner than most children---and adults.

Review 21:Quiet, not overly crowded. Liked Happy Hour and the fantastic breakfast with a start time of 5 am (many times I cannot partake of a breakfast because I have to leave before they open it; this trip was more leisurely, but I still was up and ready to eat by 5 am). I didn't have a chance to try out the pool and spa, and I left trying to think about when I could go back for my own personal retreat for a couple days. ;-)

Review 22:The wi fi did not work in my room - they failed to tell me it was out in that area and I didn't discover it till I was undressed and ready to relax. No instructions on how to work the tv. Pillows were awful and air conditioner kept turning off even though the room was not cooled completely. Room smelled very stale like it had once been a smoking room.

Review 23:Good location - close to freeway and restaurants. Staff was very nice and tried to accommodate me.

Review 24:Toilet problems in the night, plunged myself, no maintenance staff in evenings. Maintenance fixed the problem the next day. Dove hunt opener. Seemed a little expensive. Probably the time of the year.

Review 25:Nice Grounds, pleasant staff

Review 26:WiFi wouldn't connect. Room key needed to be replaced. No big deal.

Review 27:All staff very sociable and helpful. Everything has been thought of here as far as whatever one hopes for at a hotel...all amenities available, ice machines abundant, pool close, nice, very satisfied visit. Will stay again on way home.

Review 28:My room was very dark. I was on the first floor by the exit to parking lot and very dark and rather depressing. I was there for only one night so no big deal. It would be nice if there was a restaurant in the hotel.

Review 29:There was no hassle with my service dog and the staff were very friendly. The happy hour and breakfast were great. Happy hour was a great idea..The aground were lush and pretty.

Review 30:Only enough shampoo, conditioner, coffee creamer and sweetener for one person (although I'm sure they would have provided me with more if I had asked). Air conditioning blew up the window under the curtains instead of out into the room (took longer to cool the room...they were going to check it after we left), hair dryer quit when I was using it ( though they offered to replace it right away). Carpet a little worn.

Review 31:Great breakfast, so wasn't expecting to be offered such a variety, Belgium waffles that you can make yourself, cheese omeletes, sausage links, vegetable cheese omeletes, variety of bagels, toast (that you toast), variety of cereals including oatmeal, (different kinds), yogurt, coffee, teas, hot chocolate...this was worth the extra money. I also was surprised at the quality of shampoo and conditioner. Appreciated the soft towels, the soft comforter, big screen TV. King size bed very comfortable. Pool and spa looked very nice and they had towels available at the pool. Wish the hotel in San Diego was as nice. Would enjoy spending more than 1 night here. Staff very nice and helpful.

Review 32:Housekeeping did not clean the little coffee pot in the room, stale coffee still in the pot when we got back to the room 2 days in a row. We did not have them clean the room the 3rd day.

Review 33:Staff, Beautiful courtyard, nice size pool, breakfast and happy hour.

Review 34:It wasn't a big issue for us due to our age and health, but we didn't see an elevator for upper level access.

Review 35:Room was clean and comfortable, happy hour was a bonus and breakfast was great. Surrounding courtyard and pool was wonderful.

Review 36:noise from room upstairs, people were up all night tromping around, and floors squeaked, very hard to sleep.I was in room 101

Review 37:Beauty, location, large pool, nice rooms, pretty lounge, friendly staff, security of property, parking,, I really liked this hotel

Review 38:Having to leave!

Review 39:Beautiful courtyard with huge swimming pool. Complimentary happy hour with appys and drinks in a nice banquet room (adjoining the courtyard patio. Full breakfast with make your own waffles bar.

Review 40:Thought large private party in the garden area inappropriate for a public facility, considering the amount of cases of beer and their unsupervised small children in the pool area.

Review 41:The property was beautiful and convent to shopping. Nice happy hour and very comfortable suite.

Review 42:The carpet in my room needed replacement or at least tightening.

Review 43:The location was close to a convention I was attending and handy to Sam's Club (which had the best price on fuel) and other stores for shopping. Restaurants were within walking distance.

Review 44:We stopped here for a quick overnight en route from Phoenix to San Diego and wish we had more time. Beautiful grounds, big and comfy rooms, gorgeous pool with cabanas and hot tub, could keep us happy for days rather than hours.

Review 45:Didn't get to take advantage of the happy hour, the lines were very long. More variety at breakfast would be nice we had the same thing all 4 mornings we were there. It was good but a change would be welcome.

Review 46:Loved the facility, it was very comfortable to stay in. The pool is very nice and the location near the mall is convenient for shopping and eating. Walking distance to both. The hot breakfast was nice every day.

Review 47:This will become my goto hotel in Yuma...Good location n all the amenitities built around a poolside courtyard with outdoor grills available for guests. Pets allowed.

Review 48:Some areas of the suite could use a little refurbishing, but not much.

Review 49:The courteous staff. The clean rooms. The breakfast was great. Happy hour is a nice touch...

Review 50:Staff didn't know where certain city locations were ex Sometton tamale festival which is why we were there and the location of the huge Yuma flea market

Review 51:Location

Review 52:The plastic ware at breakfast was flimsy. I know that's picky, but it was to flimsy to cut the waffle.

Review 53:Very nice courtyard. Quiet, given the fact it is next to the freeway.

Review 54:Nothing everything was exceptional.

Review 55:Happy hour, hot tub and breakfast were super. The next morning we were on our way to the dentist in Mexico when we found the battery dead in the car. The receptionist advised the dentist of our situation and arranged for a hotel van to come to our rescue. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will use them again next week and again in the future. Thank- you for allowing me to share our experience.

Review 56:Absolutely nothing.

Review 57:I read all of the reviews but experienced none of the problems others had. It's not a Four Seasons but it is comfortable, clean, friendly and well located. It will be my stay of choice on a return trip.

Review 58:The Room was very clean, it did not smell. It was just very nice. The Cleaning lady was very nice and polite. The breakfast was very good and the attendant was very nice and friendly. The lobby receptionist was very nice. The grounds were beautiful. I felt like I was staying at a Hampton Inn only it was a lot more reasonable. I will be staying from now on.

Review 59:Someone's animal being allowed in a room I have to be in. They should inform people that they allow pets! One barked off and on most of the early evening.

Review 60:Didn't!

Review 61:clean white sheets and cleanliness of rooms and facility. Happy hour was great as well as breakfast. The value for the money for the rooms. Would stay again.

Review 62:The staff went out of their way to make you happy. The pool and garden area were like a nice resort complete with cabanas. The Breakfast was great with hot food. You have to be there for the "Happy Hour", appys and drinks. "Wonderful"

Review 63:No elevator. We arrived after midnight and very tired. It was hard on the back dealing with the luggage.

Review 64:location is great. Just off the freeway. Rooms are nice and roomy. We will stay there again.

Review 65:We could hear a lot of walking and noise from the room above us. Next time we will ask for a room upstairs.

Review 66:The grounds and pool were very nice. Everything about the room was updated and clean. We did like the breakfasts and happy hour.

Review 67:The side gate was left open during the day when it should have been kept closed. Other than that I had a great stay.

Review 68:I liked the, room. Breakfast choices were good for me. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Review 69:The only negative and I have to be picky to find one was the area between toilet and shower/vanity was tight. A little uncomfortable for anyone over 6'. But this is splitting hairs!

Review 70:The setting made you feel as though you were in a park not just a row of rooms. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Review 71:Nada

Review 72:All of the rooms face into the courtyard and pool area. It's beautiful and serene. You'd never know that the motel is right off of the interstate. comfortable rooms, great breakfast and Happy hour. If you have to stay in Yuma, this is a great place to do it!

Review 73:They advertise happy hour appetizers in the evening. However it was one tray of chicken wings which they never refilled. It starts at 5:00. We arrived at 5:15 and they were all gone and didn't replenish.

Review 74:I don't think it could get any better! Excellent! Clair welcoming us and Xochitl Manager were over the top excellent! Thank you for a great trip!

Review 75:OMG - What an incredible treasure to find in Yuma, of all places. A perfect little oasis with everything you'd want, clean room, quiet, gated, perfect parking. The rate$ were so good that it is amazing it wasn't packed and overbooked!

Review 76:Our room needed updating. The carpeting is not worn but along with the couch and desk chair needs a deep cleaning or replacement. The tv was weird and reception iffy on certain channels. The outside trash cans needed to be emptied more often and there were cockroaches around the one nearest us. Fertilizing the grass with steer manure led to a massive fly invasion outside. They probably don't have this issue all of the time.

Review 77:The room was adequate with a sitting area in addition to the comfortable king-sized bed. The staff were very nice and responsive. The pool area is excellent with a hot tub and plenty of seating plus 4 cabanas to hide from the sun.

Review 78:There was only one thing that I didn't like and that was the low toilet. It was hard for me to get up from but I made it

Review 79:This was in a perfect spot near to everything. The staff was amazing. I wanted a handicap room but there were none left but the room I was given was ok near the pool could go just outside door to smoke in a nice patio area

Review 80:Nothing.

Review 81:Liked the interior entrances to the rooms and how the Inn is built around an open area with mature trees & plants. Beautiful & relaxing! We also enjoyed the free breakfast, well supervised & plentiful even during the last hour of serving.

Review 82:We never have time to check out the inviting pool

Review 83:This has become our regular overnight between San Diego and Tucson. Quiet, clean rooms. Happy hour and breakfast included.

Review 84:I had multiple problems with the key card. It didn't work at the gate or my room. I asked a guess to help me and he could not get it to work either I went into the office looking for help and the girl at the desk got angry and yelled,at me. She had given me the gate key for the room. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and the wonderful location

Review 85:I liked the cleanliness of the room and the comfort. The handyman helped me out with my luggage and he was so helpful and polite. The pool area was wonderful. I was traveling alone and felt very safe

Review 86:Staff were helpful and friendly.Facilities were comforable ,clean and happy hour and breakfast was great. Close to shopping and restaurants.
