Reviews for Loews Minneapolis Hotel
Review 1:I paid up for a 4.5 star hotel and received much less. Over paid for transportation, buffet was below average.room was not properly restocked for our second night. Very disappointed.
Review 2:Location
Review 3:Towels were too old and looked dirty to use. I was afraid to use it because they looked nasty.
Review 4:Clean building, quietude, decoration, beautiful artifacts location, proximity to restaurants and shopping areas
Review 5:Breakfast for two for a 125$ pretty ridiculous for dried up cold breakfast. Pancakes couldn't choke down. Presentation was great ,wish it tasted as good as it looked.
Review 6:Almost everything!
Review 7:In room dining trays left for 12hours in the corridor The valet parking wasn't able to do his job We had to call twice the front desk in order to have someone to help us with our luggage
Review 8:The view The bar The location
Review 9:Great customer service, excellent food, location. The bartender Greg was amazing! The spa was incredible and Tiffany is a great massage therapist! Love this place!
Review 10:No ice machines. You are supposed to call room service for ice. We did. 2 Hours later still no ice. Called again, still no ice. $35 for valet. Didn't stay only got half the room refunded.
Review 11:Quick Check-in.
Review 12:The bathroom sink was slow to drain, and guest services did not seem too concerned about our issues. They preferred to attend to other customers instead.
Review 13:Excellent location and top notch hotel. Stayed here on our wedding night and the staff signed a nice card and had a bottle of proseco for us, truly awesome
Review 14:No area for pets to exercise and relieve themselves without walking the downtown streets. The elevators system was a disaster. it seemed the building was built in stages.
Review 15:The furniture and shower were great. Soft bed and room to move in the shower
Review 16:This hotel was absolutely amazing! It was gorgeous and clean. Our flight came in early at 9:00AM and they held our luggage for us. In addition, they gave us a call when the room was ready around 1:00PM and let us check-in early with no additional cost. Also, the views from this hotel were breathtaking. The location to the public transportation system and nightlife was great too. Everything is a 5-10minute max walk.
Review 17:hotel was beautiful & the service impeccable. The location was perfect. The food at Cosmos was excellent. We will look to stay there again as well as other Loews properties!
Review 18:Have to change elevators to get to your room. There was no morning paper for what you was paying for the room.
Review 19:Close to target field. They had clean room and awesome bathroom.
Review 20:I stayed on the 20th floor. At 7am, construction noise started on the 21st. For my inconvenience, I was offered a free cappucino.
Review 21:They make better cappucino than Starbucks.
Review 22:Price for the room was out of line for the space. I might have a nice bed, but no room, felt like I was in a small box.
Review 23:Location and staff was the best!!!
Review 24:I didn't get to stay longer.
Review 25:The view,The staff, The fact that on my 40th Birthday I was given a bottle of wine while I was away to lunch, with 2 cards from the Hotel and staff with wild flower seeds to plant!
Review 26:The room we were given was in rough shape; to their credit, the hotel employs a very helpful, professional maintenance worker, who got what he could to work. The base wifi was sluggish, so you pay for the premium connection. Construction work began at about 6:30 AM immediately above our room. I question the wisdom of keeping that particular floor of the hotel in service during construction. You're probably losing Loews money in the long run, as friendly staff can't always make up for short-sighted management decisions. I would go out of my way to avoid a Loews hotel in the future, regardless of how good the location was.
Review 27:The location was great. The staff was very nice.
Review 28:I decided to do valet parking because of convenience but to my surprise I had 2 big door dings on my passenger side of the car. Not impress with your valet service if that is how they treat guests vehicles!
Review 29:The hotel stay was great! We were very comfortable and it was conveniently close to the event we attended.
Review 30:My food in the restaurant was cold. I sent it back, but it was still cold. Tha was pretty disappointing, because the food is pretty expensive.
Review 31:The room was very comfortable and quiet. This was important because we planned the night to "get away."
Review 32:No music available. Docking station was for older version of iphone/ipod.
Review 33:Front desk was extremely friendly; Valet service was also helpful and accommodating.
Review 34:The housekeeping staff knocked on the door twice before 8am to see if they could clean - can't they wait until we check out? Also, the room smelled stale when we arrived; not pleasant.
Review 35:Have to use two different elevators to get to your room. The furniture of the rooms was worn and stained. The couch was stained and takes were beat up. Curtains wouldn't close completely so outside light would always come in. I would not recommend this hotel for the price.
Review 36:The lobby is calm, well decorated, and gives a look of a nice hotel.
Review 37:Construction which did not allow us to valet our car for over 40 minutes. Almost caused us to be late to daughters wedding reception. Very poor planning for a weekend date
Review 38:Flashing light in our room from a light in the closet going out. Phone wasn't plugged into power or phone jack.
Review 39:We made a last minute drive up to Minneapolis and reserved a room with a jet bathtub and waterfall shower. The staff address me by name and the hotel itself is stunning.
Review 40:No bathtub was a disappointment for the cost of the room.
