Reviews for Siesta Key Beachside Villas

Review 1:Renovation to bathroom. I was not informed that both of my bathrooms were in the process of being renovated. There was no tiles on the wall of shower and bath in the other room , just Sheetrock and a just painted smell. And the guy at the front desk was very cranky. The pull out couch was a joke---tiny mattress , I would not call it a mattress, springs with a plastic cover in it. horrible. Unsleepable. The regular beds were excellent.

Review 2:Great location. Nice suite. Less than 1min walk to beach

Review 3:The bed needed to be updated. The are redoing the tile which is going to be really nice, but the shower wasn't finished. It was ok, but it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Probably would not have paid that much for something incomplete. Very small room but it was all we needed.

Review 4:Obviously the location. They had some nice amenities such as bikes and hammocks.

Review 5:Upstairs unit needed more furniture in living room. Kitchen needed more and newer cooking utensils, pot and pans, better coffee maker, blender. Bath towels need updating.

Review 6:The large rooms are nice. Great proximity to the beach and the shopping and restaurants.

Review 7:for the same price I could have stayed at the ritz, literally. My room was small - basically a converted garage stall with partially finished shower.

Review 8:Property is cute and well located for restaurants.

Review 9:Amazing location, amenities, and walking distance to bars and restaurants. We absolutely loved the villas and siesta key in general! Can't wait to come back!

Review 10:When we stayed there were workman renovating the rooms which was noisy and dusty and meant we did not use the small pool. We did get a discount

Review 11:Great area and location both for beach and restaurants

Review 12:It was a great location, short walk to the beach and the restaurants. We stayed here because of a beach wedding we were attending right down the road. The only downfall we came across was the remodeling they were doing to the building across our door. But at least they upkeep their properties.

Review 13:The room was small and pricey for what it was. It comes down to location, location, location.

Review 14:The location is great. You can walk 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to the Siesta Key village. The rooms have been remodeled. They have 2 beach chairs in the room to take to the beach. And you can check out the beach cruisers for free.

Review 15:MY VILLA WAS LOCATED IN FRONT OF THE POOL. AT 2:00 AM SOMEBODY WAS SCREAMING SWIMMING IN THE POOL.. WE WERE REALLY SCARE. NO SECURITY IN THIS PLACE. PEOPLE DRINKING. I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED AT ANY FAMILY.

Review 16:The air handler for hvac very noisey. Turned off and only used ceiling fan Would have been better if Mitsubishi type ductless units were used. They are extremely .

Review 17:All new interior tastefully done.

Review 18:construction of new rental office

Review 19:We very much enjoyed the Siesta Key Beach villias. It was less then 1 block from the beach. The beach was clean and a seashell lovers dream. The sunsets were amazing. The room was cozy and updated.

Review 20:It would help if staff was more knowledgeable over phone about room check in time and sleeping arrangements. I had to call property manager, Michael, to clarify certain things the staff did not.

Review 21:Location..beach access and a very short walk to town. Very clean and comfortable villa with 2 bedrooms.

Review 22:We had one of the two bedroom apts that had not been refurbished, but it was a late booking. I think I would probably not book again unless it was refurbished.

Review 23:Proximity to the beach and the town are the huge plus factors here.

Review 24:The walls are a little thin, so you can hear the people next to you if they are having a good time.

Review 25:The beachside villas are only about a block and a half from the beach, a very easy walk! The room was clean and enough space for two! Walking distance to all kinds of delicious restaurants!!

Review 26:Old bathroom, needed work bad, claimed to be two bedroom but curtain for door. Tv in uncomfortable weird location beside sofa which was crammed behind front door. Not comfortable or convient for watching tv. Awful really.

Review 27:Location to beach

Review 28:I loved how close we were to the beach. 2 minute walk. So beautiful. If I ever find myself staying in Siesta Key again, I will definitely do another villa.

Review 29:Office closes early in the evening. Buyer beware of these fees thatare not posted: $100 for lost parking pass 10:00 am check-outw/$20 an hour fee for late check-out. As a world wide traveler Ihave never encountered so many hidden fees. A welcome packet was leftin our room, however, we were only down for a weekend and the rest ofour family was staying at another property. No time to read until itwas too late. Also, had problems paying for the room. Our bank showedthe charge had gone through, their system did not show. When I finallysat down on the plane for my return flight, there were 3 voice mailsfrom the hotel and I had only been in their office 3 hours before.Very disappointed in what appears to be sketchy management for anotherwise beautiful property.

Review 30:Location was great and property was beautifully landscaped.

Review 31:Where to start.. The listing has a lot of cool photos, but those are of the "main" buildings. We received a room somewhere down the street, having to walk to the main building and cross traffic etc to even get to the pool. Our room for 5 (179) was built in what seemed like a converted garage. It wasn't very clean (bedrooms, bathroom but especially the kitchen), extremely low ceilings, super tiny bathroom, a lot of broken things including half of the outside furniture. The WiFi coverage was spotty to say the least. The worst was that we mentioned this during checkout, the staff replied in a very nonchalant way "oh well it will be renovated in a year or so" - I'm shocked by the fact that they plan to charge guests these prices for that room for another year.

Review 32:The location was great, right on the beach.

Review 33:Only negative would be the pull out sofa not comfy at all. Would love a new mattress on it. Will bring blow up next time :)

Review 34:Unit A12 was awesome. Renovated and furnished well!

Review 35:some rooms/suites are located in a building which is much less 'sexy' than the rooms next to the pool. We were in suite 177, we had the impression to be in a motel environment. Terrace chairs next to very noisy AC machine. No windows in the bedroom, sofa bed very very uncomfortable

Review 36:The location is perfect, next to the beach and SK village

Review 37:They didn't have beach chairs and umbrella's on the beach assigned to the hotel.

Review 38:I liked the location. It's a nice place. I'm use to staying at real resort hotels so this was a little different for us.

Review 39:The room was poorly maintained. Patch work in the bathroom and in the kitchen unprofessional. The bedroom butted up against the staff housekeeping facility and where at one point there was a window they had placed a thin would panel. You could hear the staff talking as if they were in the room. When asked to be switched rooms I was told there was nothing else available.

Review 40:I liked the location. Close to the beach and restaurants.

Review 41:The pillows, I prefer a firm pillow, my wife likes something softer, but these were like a bag full of cotton balls that once your head hit it, pretty much it smooshed into the bed. The bigger issue is the hours of the pool. They closed the pool when they closed the office and if everyone was checked in for the day, they closed up and went home. The times posted were Dawn till Dusk, the pool kept getting locked up around 6-6:15. Others with kids were very disappointed to lose pool time, as were we after looking forward to a dip after dinner. Keep the pool open!

Review 42:Rooms were clean and quiet. The newly updated rooms were very nice.

Review 43:The only bad thing was that it was very hard to connect to the wifi.

Review 44:The proximity to town and the beach were amazing. We were a few steps from either.

Review 45:The room was very clean and the property well kept. Comfortable bed and roomy standup glass shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Location, location, location!! Walk two minutes to beautiful white sand beach; walk two minutes to downtown for food, drink and shopping.

Review 46:Loved the 3 queen beds, it was perfect for my mother, my girlfriend and her son and myself and my 2 kids. The layout was great. The location was amazing, a block Walt to 2 fantastic beaches and to the village. We even had a family BBQ with up to 12 visiting family members.

Review 47:The rooms are very old and run down. The air conditioner did not work, we had ants in the kitchen and a water leak in the bathroom. The whole first day was spent in the hot room of 82 degrees waiting on maintenance, air conditioning services and the plumber. The owner of these cottages should be ashamed renting these units in the condition they are in to anyone. We plugged a blow dryer into the outlet and it sparked and burned the plug. A very dangerous place to stay!

Review 48:The ladies in the office were very nice. They tried very hard to make the best of our situation and accommodate us by moving us to another room that was larger but also very run down. They offered good customer service and tried to do right by us. We did appreciate them. The location was good. Close walking distance to the beach and in the heart of the restaurants and shops.

Review 49:Only bathroom and kinda slow WiFi when too many people are on it.

Review 50:For a group of kids going on their first vacation, it was perfect. Ample sleeping opportunities and enough space for activities.

Review 51:Glasses had been put in the cupboard with mouth prints on the tops. The adjacent room was separated by a single sheet of wood paneling and we could hear their conversations as easily as our own. One little seem in the wood paneling was even open and we could see in. Very Discomforting!

Review 52:The shower head and water pressure were strong and that was awesome. The suite was a spacious 1 bedroom apartment fully furnished, designed for an extended stay.

Review 53:Although the apartment complex was advertised as newly renovated, we learned that only half of the apartments were finished. We ended up in one of the old places which looked nothing like the pictures (renovated).

Review 54:Proximity to beach

Review 55:Room was really small. We couldn't have stayed there for more than 2 nights. Other rooms looked bigger but I didn't realize when I booked online. Do your research!

Review 56:Walking distance to beach. Room was clean and modern.

Review 57:A few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. The rooms seemed noise proofed because we are near the pool and a family had a little BBQ party outside our villa and but we didn't even hear them.

Review 58:The villas were very small. The "full kitchen" is mini versions of a kitchen that is on the counter of the living room area. The oven and stove didn't work, the fridge leaked water, the room was dirty, and the pool is NOT heated at all. When we let the staff know they said someone would come by to take care of it and no one did. So I bought cleaning supplies and clean it my self. On our check out day we told the girl at the front desk and she said a manager would call us but that didn't haopen either. It's not worth what they charge.

Review 59:we loved the location of the resort and some of the staff were very friendly.

Review 60:That we had to leave ! I would have stayed another night if it was available!

Review 61:This renovated unit was very nice! Perfect location to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc!

Review 62:Our unit was not quite complete so we needed an extra mirror,(3 women with one mirror) but that was minor. I think chairs will be put outside unit as other units had.

Review 63:The owner, Michael, was very accommodating to see that we had chairs to bring to beach and even found us an umbrella. The grounds are wonderfully landscaped with little lights in trees for nighttime ambiance. Very Nice. We also liked to have parking for our visiting guests.

Review 64:Perfect location to walk to the beach and to the shopping and restaurants.

Review 65:No dishes, etc.

Review 66:Location

Review 67:Very cute place a block from the beach. Has every amenity, but still has that beachy feel.

Review 68:We had a good experience, the room Was borderline for size though

Review 69:The cost of one room being so close to the beach

Review 70:The location, very close to both the beach and the center with small restauants! And the village is super ! The beach is clean and calm.

Review 71:Beds were very soft, rooms are a bit too small for a family of four, missing cuttelery in the kitchen

Review 72:Very close to the beach and clean dacility

Review 73:heated pool was nice & the beach was close

Review 74:It was exactly what we were expecting and more, facility's and position perfect .

Review 75:Not on beach, not as modern as hotels in this price category. Just felt like someone's apartment.

Review 76:You can walk into the small town area

Review 77:Minute walk to both beach and dining. Recently remodeled room

Review 78:Newly renovated, excellent location

Review 79:Some upgrades to property needed

Review 80:Location is amazing

Review 81:none

Review 82:Property was clean, upgraded, perfect location, steps from restaurants, steps from beach.

Review 83:For us, the bed was not very comfortable.

Review 84:Love the fact that we were walking distant of the Beach and food.

Review 85:Great little bungalow in a great location. No one wanted to leave when it was time to go!

Review 86:Location was perfect

Review 87:Check out time is too early.

Review 88:Great place to stay. Quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Clean room. We loved it.

Review 89:nothing

Review 90:everything

Review 91:The price is high, the pool area is small and shuts down at sunset. The property is not on the beach, but nearby.

Review 92:The beach

Review 93:It says it's oceanside. IT'S NOT

Review 94:I liked the experience

Review 95:Have a few dishes and silverware. More towels including beach towels in room.

Review 96:Good location. Near beach and village.

Review 97:Needed an update 10 years ago!

Review 98:Only good thing is the location

Review 99:Could have been a little bigger. No fan in the bedroom

Review 100:So close to the village and beach

Review 101:Needed two bathrooms.

Review 102:Location close to restaurants and beach. Enjoyed the hammock. Villa was clean and attractively decorated.

Review 103:la ubicacion esta Cerca de la playa y Los restaurants , podes ir caminando

Review 104:Clean comfortable stay with the beach and dining with in walking distance. Loved that beach chairs were included with the villa.

Review 105:Great location to the beach and the restaurants.

Review 106:Nothing, great place

Review 107:Cleanliness, location, location, location! Great place to spend the vacation time

Review 108:When arriving early, no restroom available

Review 109:Enjoyed all!

Review 110:Twin sleeper

Review 111:Tiki hut

Review 112:Great price, comfy room, nice people, and excellent location!

Review 113:The staff was great.

Review 114:The pull out couch was very uncomfortable .... But that's to be expected.

Review 115:Great spot right in the beach!

Review 116:Only issue was wifi did not work in all areas of the villa

Review 117:Location, beds, TV, staff

Review 118:It was a short walk to the beach and to many restaurants and shops. Never had to drive anywhere during our stay.
