Review 1：Had do not disturb sign on door. Left to explore the boardwalk, came back to the room, sign was off door. Found things stolen out of room, personal belongings. Also overcharged me for an extra day.

Review 2：Nasty halls. Exterior carpets needed vacuuming and tile floors were nasty - except for lobby and eating area. Back building floors were just as nasty. Exterior doors didn't lock even though the signs said you would have to use your room key for access. This area was accessible from the parking lot so any derelict could access the building, making it a security issue. Pool was green.

Review 4：We stayed in the presidential suite and the room is large but the furniture is very worn and uncomfortable. The remotes don't work to either of the tvs. Most of the channels did not work. We were informed at breakfast there were no pancakes or waffles because of management if not on the weekend for cut backs. They should put a sign on the waffle maker saying out of order so you aren't standing there trying to figure it out.

Review 6：The hotel is in desperate need of a facelift. In my room, the a/c sounded like an engine it was so loud. The lady at the front desk was just miserable looking (didn't smile, looked stressed/agitated). When we got to our room, there was a dirty towel in a drawer and dirty wash clothes behind the fold out couch. The tub had a bottom portion that was coming loose and had dirt and hair on it. We needed more towels and were told to call housekeeping...so much for guest service. I called housekeeping and they didn't have any. When they cleaned our room, they didn't replenish the hand towels or wash cloths, and we never did get those extra bath towels. The hallways had a really bad odor and were dark and dingy. I can't say that we will stay here again

Review 10：That's when we checked in that we were under the impression that's there would be a hot meal breakfast, but to wake up and see cold breakfast and having to travel 3 miles to McDonald's and get a hot breakfast is not cool. They should serve hot breakfast and cold. If that would be a chose.

Review 12：I arrived late in the evening, the girl at the front desk was very nice, helped me find a rest. that would deliver and even made sure to book the exact same room for me on my return trip. The room was very clean and comfortable. It's right off of the highway and very easy to get to. HOT shower and even good shampoo and conditioner :) Very nice place to stay

Review 13：An employee thought I didn't belong. She judged me by what I wore a purple white and grey winter r fall cap with a fuzz ball on top and yarn as pull string at the ear covers. A purple thermal and green zip up hoodie. Jeans faded but not toren. She asked with a pleasant smile while walking as I sat to eat. "Sir are you a guest here". I replied " Would you like to see my room key". Her pleasant smile vanish as she turns to walk away.

Review 14：The château was quiet. I did not hear any noise besides the traffic. The breakfast is plenty!!!

Review 15：The breakfast bar was mediocre to begin with but the waffle and pancake machine were broken and there was not hot water for the tea. Bathroom was a pretty awful set up. Bathtub was strangely put together, it was opened up on the side so you could see into it. Toilet was very close to bathtub.

Review 33：The lobby and outside of the building looked fine. An old style thatappeared to be kept up. I was so disappointed getting off the thirdfloor elevator. I felt as if I was walking down the halls of a deep downdumpy projects building like you see on tv. There were tv's blastingthey doors. You could hear conversations going on plain as day. Laundrybags ( a bunch) piled up in front of doorways that remained for hours. Icame within an inch of turning and running out. I got to my room. It wassemiclean but felt very dirty. The couch was ripped up. Glasses in thekitchen area were not clean. Trash in the sink. I only stayed because Ihad checked 4 other nearby hotels and there was no room. I was in fromout of state for a family emergency. The bed was very neat and clean.That was the only place I would sit on or slept in that room. Thebreakfast was grits and sausage only. I was there at 7:15am andEverything else was empty.

She said no give them to the morning clerk. When I go to check out I give the gift cards to the clerk only to hear "We are no longer part of Best Western" I can't use those. Why was I able to book as a Best Western and why did the evening clerk not say something when I showed the gift cards?!!!!!!

Review 42：The owners have not updated the two rooms we used. We asked to be moved because the mold smell was bad. The air conditioner was on its last legs, gurgling as it tried to cool the room.

Management should take more pride in their hotel than this my wife and I won't be back I would rather pay double the price and stay somewhere else than stay her again! You could here other people in other rooms, not the best place for being quit. Build cheap , thin walls. I think they need to look at sound board before dry wall to make the rooms quit.

Review 65：The room was dirty and there were several smears on the mirrors. A couch in the room looked run down and nasty as well. The sheet at the bottom of bed had hair on it and one lamp shade kept falling off. I also noticed was seemed to be smoke on the ceiling of a non smoking room.

Review 67：Floors to the elevator or stairs was always slippery. The bathroom was decent, but there were faucet heads missing when using the sink - also there was a constant drip from it.

Review 68：Location with a car was great - center of the casinos, near the Red River District, I-20 and I-220 Bed was a soft mattress that I found comfortable. Not too noisy that kept us up.

Maid took maybe 3 minuted to spread up the bed. Room was not cleaned. Room was dirty. One TV worked marginally.

Also, breakfast didn't seem to last for long - when we went downstairs around 9:40, they had already stopped serving it.

When asked if we could swap rooms, I was toldthey were booked up for the 3 nights we were staying. The Breakfast waspoor and the staff for it very unfriendly. WhenI let them know thecoffee was out, they have me a look as if I shouldn't have derby itall. I've had better breakfast at hotels half the price. They pickedthe food up 10 minutes before they closed the breakfast bar,it is onlyopen 6-9. I will not go back to that hotel again.

Review 90：What I liked most was checking out and leaving. This was easily theworst Best Western I have stayed at.

Review 91：The bathroom left a LOT to be desired -- like cleanliness. It could have used some elbow grease and a little TLC. The toilet was LOUD when flushed. My 7 year old would flush and run out of the bathroom. The WI-FI was horrible and we would only gain access for 2-3 minutes before being kicked off. We have unlimited data on our phones, so it wasn't that big of a deal -- primarily an annoyance. The staff was less than cordial. But to be honest, that is kind of par for the area.

Review 92：Breakfast was awesome! We stayed 3 nights and could have had something completely different each morning. The location was great for getting around town. Parking was simple and secure. There is a kitchenette in the room, with a full size refrigerator/freezer, even a dishwasher!!

Review 106：My one complaint is about Check in. I reserved the room online and upon Check in, I paid cash for the room. The front desk wanted to charge an extra $67 to my card during the stay in case we messed something up in the room and then give it back at the end of stay. This was never told to me ahead of time. I didn't appreciate them taking my money and who knows if they would give it back or not.... I refused to let them do this to me. The manager was very nice and approved me to stay without taking extra money from me. There has to be a better way to deal with this issue. I understand that some people have NO respect and destroy things but not all your customers are second rate citizens like that!!!!
