Review 1：The room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable and it was in a lovely location. Friendly welcoming staff and watching swallows drink from the pool while we had a delicious breakfast was a special bonus.
Review 2：Everything: the comfortable stylish rooms, the beautiful location, the private terrace with barbecue facilities, the friendly hosts, the exceptionally good breakfast, the service and the welcome. We loved the "extras" like complementary sherry in the room, the welcome drink, the helpful advice for our trip.

Review 20：This place was absolutely amazing. From the moment Sophie (the incredibly cute and well behaved dog) greeted us upon arrival, to a personal see off when we took the road again. We really could have stayed more days here as it was only an overnight stay as we were embarking on a 4000km road trip. You can't get a better location. Literally on the Kowie River bank. The friendliness, cleanliness, hospitality and caring staff were unmatchable. And Dale the barefoot chef works absolute magic in the kitchen. We certainly give this place 5 stars. And hope to be back whenever we visit Port Alfred again.
