Review 1：there was a couple above us with a dog that barked quite a bit at night & and woke us in the morning , if i'd have known they alowed pets i would have requested a room away from any pets

Review 2：only stayed one night , it was all we needed for a quick getaway , neat & clean

Review 3：Besides the position, it is a bit overpriced for the accommodation, that is basically a nice vintage style motel on the beach. But these are the Hamptons, baby...and it is still cheaper than the other hotels in the area, so I guess we cannot complain too much.

Review 4：The position is amazing, right in front of the ocean, literally steps to the beach (mind that here there are dunes that cover the full sight from the rooms). We enjoyed the morning sun from our balcony, listening to the powerful ocean waves, sipping coffee and catching glimpses of the sea. And we loved the vintage marine style of the hotel. The room was big and clean, the bathroom quite small but ok.

Review 5：Area rug and shower curtain are dirty. Toilet seat is old and doesn't fit the toilet bowl properly. Bed cover has a cigarette burn hole. Room just needs a few little tweaks to be a great room

Review 12：The bathroom door wasn't really a door - it was mostly a makeshift sliding thing that gave us no privacy. You could hear everything. It was definitely not what I was expecting. I have never seen that before in my life and was not shown in the pictures.

Review 16：Corner of the room had water damage from a leak , as the paint is damaged and bubbled. We had a double bed ,room .Although very clean ,Our beds were not comfortable.they kind of had a pit in the center ,were creaky, and one had a rip in the sheets . We did hear our neighbors talking outside, say that their beds were comfortable so maybe it's hit or miss . For one night it was fine , but if I had to stay longer it wouldn't have worked out .

Review 17：For an overnight stay the room was good . Big airy with a nice deck off the back. Double bed and flat screen tvs ,nice bathroom and very clean .

Review 18：We reserved two rooms and paid more for the second room as we chose a room "with ocean view". It was almost impossible to see the ocean from that room - the hotel only has very partial views of the ocean but does not flag that when offering "ocean view" rooms for booking (at higher rates). Very deceptive. Also, the mattresses in both rooms were VERY soft and you could feel the springs sticking through the mattresses, creaking each time you moved, which made for a VERY uncomfortable night of sleeping. The deck around the pool looks like it has not had any proper maintenance in years; the overall feel of the place is tired and old. Not worth the expense of staying there at all.

Review 24：We were thrilled with the location. Having never been to the Hamptons or Montauk before, it was a wonderful surprise! We found a beautiful nature conservancy on our walk and hiked on a trail along the eroded bluffs beside the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on our private deck and looking at the sand dunes. While we couldn't see the ocean from our room, we left the sliding glass doors open at night and enjoyed the sea breeze and the sound of ocean waves. For us it was perfect! It was very conveniently located for restaurants and shops. If you like to walk, you really don't need your car for anything.

No space in bathroom to store toiletries. It's off-putting that Oceanside Beach Reaort cuts corners like this b/c it's very expensive to stay here even midweek in high season.

Review 65：The lack of change-room/bathroom facilities except in guest rooms was inconvenient. Kitchenette and its appliances were outdated: pots and pans with scratched non-stick coats, no two forks or knives matched, and the placement of items, sink and counter was uncomfortable.

Review 66：Everything was great. We stayed in the Executive Queen suite, which allowed unobstructed views of the dunes and ocean. The suite enjoyed privacy and despite the busy summer time, it felt private. The check-in desk was very friendly and courteous despite our midnight arrival outside of desk hours. The location - walking distance from the action and town - and a minute away from the ocean was superb.

Review 75：We had made reservations for the two of us to spend a long weekend in montauk together. We had an unexpected change of plans and needed to add 2 inlaws and two children. We spoke with the owner and she was very gracious understanding and kind and allowed us these extra guests last minute for a reaaonable fee. The place was fantastic and so near to the beach. Literally feet away from our room. Also the pool was clean amd well kept up. The rooms were beautiful and modern and clean. The staff was friendly and we had a fantastic vavation. I highly rrecommend! Special shout out to the woman behind the desk who's kindness made this possible. We will be back for sure as we travel every year to montauk for pleasure. :-)

Seriously, I mean absolutely zero. The layout of the room was weird. The best window and view was where the coffee machine is located, and the bathroom.

Review 129：not enough parking, some of the spaces seem very unsafe, you are almost in the road. the a/c units are lnked together - 4 rooms together. if one of the 4 has heat, the other 3 have no a/c! there was a wedding party that was very loud, and kept us up for hours, because we had to have the windows open with no a/c. the maid left coffee but no cups, and never even left a spare roll of toilet paper. when it was mentioned at check out, the person in the office said "oh i'm sorry" we felt we should have been offered "something"

Review 130：the room was clean, and newly painted. you have an ocean view from the walkway, and their are chairs, and benches outside each unit. the location is good - walking distance from town, and across the street fron the beach.

Review 131：There was no Wi-Fi while we were there, there are no blow dryers in the room (we were able to borrow one but had to return it the same day and borrow it again the next day...), we stayed in room 9 and were woken to the sound of furniture being dragged back and forth and heavy stomping both mornings around 6:30 am.

Review 132：Location was good - access to the beach was easy and close, and access to the town was good as well. Staff that checked us in was very helpful with activities and local information. Room was comfortable, property was nice.

Review 133：Wi-fi only worked if we stood by the door. Anywhere else in the room the signal was out of range. Bed was not comfortable, it was very stiff. A/C and heating unit was not working.

Review 135：The sliding door to the deck didn't open all the way, there was no hairdryer, and no carpet. Because there is no carpet, 1st floor guests can hear every sound through the ceiling from the guests upstairs. Our neighbors to the north put heels on and walked back and forth starting at 5 am and sounded like horses galloping back and forth. Forced awake by bad sound deadening.
