Reviews for Comfort Suites Visalia
Review 1:Parking is hard, but that is not the hotels fault. Otherwise I was extremely happy with my experience overall.
Review 2:I was very happy with this location overall, if I ever need to stay in a hotel in the area I would go back to this location.
Review 3:Stuff very unhelpful. They didn't had our booking.com reservation. I asked the front man to call booking.com and resolve but he refused. He didn't know what to do. Looked like it was hist first day at job.
Review 4:A lot of space on parking
Review 5:Everything was very clean and the room was huge with a sleeper sofa also. We had an adjoining room with our son's family and grandchildren. Breakfast was great and it was a good place to relax after a day of seeing the Sequoias.
Review 6:Location in front of parking and doesn't seem very safe Staff not friendly and welcoming It didn't smell good in thé lobby and the elevator
Review 7:Nothing
Review 8:It was quite scarry. Two guards at night in the entrance and two policeman who came to visit the room next to us did not gibe us a very safe feeling
Review 9:The breakfast was nice
Review 10:I had to step out of vehicle to enter parking garage. A small annoyance, but it could be corrected with a new reader. The elevator was a bit concerning. Very slow, but constantly made erie squeaks and squeals.
Review 11:The breakfast was outstanding! It made all the difference as we spent long days exploring Sequoia NP. Internet was excellent as well.
Review 12:I booked a room as a base for a trip to the Sequoia National Park. I travelled alone so I got plenty of space in the room (205), which consisted of two parts: studio and a bedroom (+bathroom and kitchenette). The staff printed out some tickets for me and kept my luggage while I was exploring the park. In general I was satisfied with the hotel.
Review 13:The elevator was so small and it made a lot of noise and well at breakfast the area weren't clean very sticky
Review 14:The staff when I first got there was nice and the breakfast was good
Review 15:The toilet seat was poorly attached and moved every time it was used. Complained to the desk on day 1 and after 6 days no one ever fixed it. The ice machine on 3 floors did not work. The "eggs" for breakfast was empty 2 of the mornings. Not refilled with fresh eggs. The pastries were taken away when we walked in at 9:15am. Rude evening desk clerk. The slowest elevator in the world. Can here the elevator going up and down from the hotel room. Horrible
Review 16:A little difficult to find. Parking was confusing at first. The room was hot as an oven. The AC had everything comfortable after 10 minutes. So all in all my complaints a minor.
Review 17:You staff is outstanding. Restaurants nearby.
Review 18:The facilty was in need of repairs in the bathroom. The couch was very uncomfortable. WiFi was not working in the room.
Review 19:The facility was clean. The breakfast was good.
Review 20:The hotel looks pretty old and could use some renovating. Bathroom could've been and looked better.
Review 21:Suite-style room with living room and sofa. Good WiFi. Excellent location (downtown Visalia). Good, warm breakfast.
Review 22:The hotel is located in the old town area which had lots of shopping for the wife while I was working and best of all, right next door to a brewery. Great food! It's not the Hilton but was very nice and had the old town feeling. Great value for the price.
Review 23:The stay was perfect for a single mom of 5, They served a great breakfast for the kids to eat before going to school. The staff was wonderful smiling at the children as they entered into the hotel. There was enough room to comfortably..
Review 24:The fruit juice wasn't real fruit juice.
Review 25:Clean, quiet, & well-equipped (I needed the fridge). I also appreciated your efforts to protect the environment, use less water, etc.
Review 26:Breakfast area was a bit austere.
Review 27:Close proximity to a range of restaurants and an 'American Graffiti' feel to the town of Visalia. Suites were very good value. Rated at 8.5
Review 28:Location and compared to the Marriott next door for $20 less that we have used in the past for adults night out not disappointed ! Taxi service for travel out of town almost the same cost one way as the room !
Review 29:It was a comfortable stay for a trip to Kings Canyon. Loved that we were so close to downtown dining and got awesome sleep. The choice of soft or firm pillow was a nice surprise. Breakfast and coffee hit the spot.
Review 30:The shower head had a geyser spewing out the top and all over the ceiling and the duvet cover was dirty with make up.
Review 31:Nice breakfast and the staff was very helpful. Easy access to the Convention Center and the downtown area.
Review 32:Would have prefered sink in the bathroom.
Review 33:Great size room with a sitting area with TV as you walk in. An additional TV in the bedroom. Only stayed one night but nice and quiet. Lots of places to eat within walking distance.
Review 34:the location of the room next to the parking lot, no gym facilities, no pool.... had to travel to another hotel to use pool and the gym. also the staff only had two permits for the gym???? why???? you staff should be given multiple permits to use the gym... staff could not provide gym passes to other guest because someone was using them... BAD IDEA

Review 94:Our street-side room had some noise issues, but nothing that would keep me from booking again.
Review 95:Covered, secure parking. The front desk periodically goes out there, and they alerted me I had left my lights on. Property is easy walk from cute downtown shopping and restaurants.
Review 96:Rooms are outdated. Staff was not very attentive. Wifi was fairly poor. Only one very slow elevator.
Review 97:Located near several nice pubs and restaurants. Fine location.
Review 98:After the first night, the coffee in the room was not replenished. Breakfast was served on paper plates with paper cups Spa is closed due to renovation, the renovation itself was not bothersome

Review 102:not found so far
Review 103:It is easy, everything...parking, centertown is next block close, do not miss the brewery 100 yards far for dinner, breakfast with a nice choice and room for many tables
Review 104:The staff was friendly, and when I complained about the key not opening my door - I got a discount of the room charge. Also good breakfast. And perfect location in downtown.
Review 105:Beds were too firm. There should be option for pillow top on mattresses. Elevator was very slow
Review 106:Location to downtown and area destinations. Breakfast bar had good assortment but we stayed 5 days so got a bit repetitious. Some day to day variation would be nice.
Review 107:Room had a stale smell
Review 108:Good hotel right off the highway yet close to Visalia center. Great if you're visiting sequoia park or are on the way to Yosemite . Room was very big with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Free wifi
Review 109:Could do with another elevator, one very slow one for the whole hotel!
Review 110:A very central hotel. Large and well maintained rooms. Great breakfast with a good range of choices.
Review 111:Excellent friendly staff. Rosie was particularly helpful. Every facet of our two-night stay was excellent to include allowing breakfast overflow to be seated in the conference room.
Review 112:Hotel in poor condition. Carpet rippled in hall looked like the propertyhad not been updated since the 70s. Hotel was more in line with Motel 6in value and certainly not worth $99 or more per night. Free breakfastwas a plus but had to eat standing up sine the room was way too smallfor multiple guests.
Review 113:We booked online and put in Threee rivers and this hotel came up we did not realize that Visalia was 50 mi from Three rivers. So we cancelled our second night to stay in Sequoias. 100 miles a day for 2 days just to go back and forth to park was not convienent.
Review 114:Nice area with lots of restaurants walking distance from hotel. Room was clean and hotel was well kept, great breakfast options.
Review 115:We liked your bedroom set-up. We had a double bed plus we had the hide-a-bed (sofa couch) on the other side with the restroom in the middle. Wow! and the two TVs in each side. Plus you had the refrigerator and the lock-box. Everything was clean. All my family came to visit and they too were surprised we are all hooked on Comfort Suites. Thank you, Chris & Veronica Rendon, Fresno
