Review 1：The room was not clean. The sofa (bed) had remnants of popcorn, food particles lodged under the cushion. The carpet/rug was stained with some liquid or food. The sheets were colored and looked like they weren't washed recently. The bathroom was dirty, soap and bubble patches all over the bathroom walls. The toilet bowl itself was dirty and even though it was washed, it wasn't properly done. The bathroom sink was not properly cleaned up. The pillows are small and not a standard pillow. The shuttle bus drove us from the hotel and dropped us off at some bus stop, we had no idea where we were headed to and no information on return shuttle back to the hotel. Restaurant was closed on Sunday and at breakfast, there were very little options available.

Review 4：Everything was great. Staff was wonderful, beds were comfortable, clean, breakfast was terrific. They had everything you could possibly want for breakfast. The shuttle bus to metro was very convenient and the price was very reasonable!!! No complaints here. I would stay again. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Review 7：I stayed in room 427. This is key, because right below the room, on the windows side, there is a single floor annex with 2 big air conditioning units and an industrial kitchen fan. The noise which they emitted was very loud, and even more so at night. I could not sleep. When I complained to the front desk person, he shrugged that off. I ended up sleeping in the lobby half the night. Keep away from that section of the hotel. I would never stay there again.

Review 8：There was only one person to handle the "front of the room" atthe height of the breakfast rush, and it wasn't enough. Also, oursafe battery was doa and couldn't be used the first day, thencouldn't be opened when we arrived back at the hotel the followingday. The engineer who fixed it was very competent, but remarked that theproblem keeping the safe from opening was known to the safe company andthere was no warning on the safe for guests (you have to be careful notto interfere with the locking mechanism and it's not easy to avoid).He had only been on the job for a week but intended to recommend basedon our experience that a warning be put on the safes, but this was veryannoying as it had obviously happened before. Also when I went to checkout, the desk clerk on duty tried to charge me for use of the safe forthese days, which I objected to. She did take it off the bill (itwasn't much - just the principle of the thing), but customer serviceshould have told her not to do that as soon as I let her know there wasa problem.

Review 9：The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, especially the frontdesk clerk who gave us restaurant recommendations (sorry, no name,but he told us he came from Peru), and the engineer who fixed thesafe in the room.

Review 10：Old fashioned room and poor noise isolation. The worst was when people where getting late into their room, you can hear everything '-( Really to keep in mind if you are looking for a quiet stay. If you are planing to reach D.C. center, be aware of massive traffic jam to go & return

Review 26：The facilities are elegant and in good condition. The complimentary hot breakfast is the best I've ever had, includes eggs and bacon. Location is handy, right on interstate 270. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The room is equipped with everything, fridge and microwave, and they thought of every detail, even a 2-roll toilet paper holder and recycling baskets. Free coffee around the clock. I can't think of anything lacking there.

Review 27：It wasn't as close as we had been led to believe in our search process. We had to fight rush hour each day. I think we got in a loop with Google in their effort to give preference to this hotel. Still it was fine other than distance.

Review 36：Our 2 boys cut the bottoms of their feet on the swimming pool. I did not go in but they got out with their toes actually bleeding from the rough surface. THERE WAS NO HEAT. When I asked at the desk how to get the room warm they informed me there was no heat in summer. They advised opening a window but there were no screens and we were on the 4th floor. I was worried about bats coming in so it wasn't an option.
