Enjoying a beachfront location in Port Alfred, this bed and breakfast provides an outdoor pool. Guests can simply walk across a narrow road and over a sand dune to enjoy long walks on the beach and a swim in the ocean. It is situated halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London. Wi-Fi is free of charge.
Overlooking the sea or the pool, all rooms are air conditioned and have satellite TV. Each features a sofa and a private bathroom. Tea-and-coffee-making facilities are provided.

Review 1：Right on the beach, peaceful but near enough for restaurants. Isobeau and Joyce were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room and nice pool. Loved our short stay, wished we had been able to stay longer.

Review 2：Some areas of the property eg bathrooms, pool shelter area and some bedroom fitments would benefit from some TLC - particularly if property is classified as luxurious.

Review 3：Isabeau is great, welcoming, friendly, attentive, helpful and informative. Guests feel cared for. Breakfasts are good and the room we had was extremely comfortable and cool in very high temperatures albeit without the best of views.

Review 5：Located on the beach front, a few streets from the center. House and rooms decorated with a lot of style. Elizabeth the owner was a great host and gave me plenty of ideas to explore the area and even called one of her contact to arrange me a boat trip. There are plenty of things to do in the area. The room was very cosy with a great view and I felt so well there. I wish I had stayed longer.

Review 7：What a fantastic location - the view was stunning especially for our little road trip . The local knowledge was also a boost as we had an awesome dinner at a local restaurant recommended by the manager .

Review 8：Rather expensive for a local establishment. The TV should be replaced with a flatscreen and the towels replaced with bath sheets. A greater choice of teas would also be a good idea.

Review 12：It is in a good location, the manageress is a very efficient friendly, helpful lady, gave us lots of tips on what to do and see. The breakfasts were very good, the rooms were very clean nicely furnished and comfortable. She made bookings for us for dinner and golf.

Review 13：time to go flat screen TV we would suggest. Little maintenance which is always a task being at the coast but nothing to actually have you put off your stay.

Review 14：The location, the ambiance, the heart and soul of our Hotess Isabeau. The hearty freshly presented breakfasts. And the fact that nothing was too much trouble even little extras were done with your pleasure of enjoyment. Isabeau has a wealth of knowledge to get you to see places you normally wouldn't think of and has personally taken great care to point these lovely places out that are safe for walking and site seing. The Beach House on the Suncoast when the weather wasn't great was our Sunny Place relaxing the beautiful decor and extra throws for the making of our own "Club Duvet" cosy and comfortable with magnificent views across the ocean. Early mornings from the room we watched the most wondrous site of all The Whales Mothers and Calves frolicking just beyond the first Breakers. All in told a piece of heaven. Thank You Isabeau your are an outstanding person , hostess at a great establishment, by far the very best in Port Alfred and we know from experiences over the past years at our favorite place in South Africa

Review 34：first class location right by the seaside/beach. Lovely sea-view from the balcony of the 1st floor room. Tastfully furnished, cosy room with comfortable kingsize bed. Caring attention and assistance by Hostess. Excellent breakfast.

Review 35：We have rented two rooms and they did not disappoint. They were extremely cosy and warmly decorated. What made a real difference in our stay was the wonderful Isabeau who was so attentionate, friendly and caring. She is the soul of the place and has proven an amazing guide - her recommendations made our short stay an unforgettable one. Regarding room choice: we had one room upstairs with see view and this one offered an incredible balcony with magical view on the ocean. It was very romantic and secluded. So if you seek quiet and serene, this should be your request. The second room was on the ground level, see view also, but since you are in the garden with a rather high gate, you do not get to see the ocean. Also, on the ground floor, you do not have a patio, and you can see other guests passing by unless you have your curtains on. So if you want total privacy and some outdoor access, it is better to ask for an upstairs room or a room in the back of the house. However, the ground level twin room offered a kitchenette with sink and microwave which was super handy. Overall, we would return in a heart beat as we have felt at home.

Review 36：Lack of lighting in the room. We were in room 2 and there was no lighting in the area around the table. Ugly central fitting as part of the fan.
