Review 1：No internet reception in the room, had to go down to the reception. It wasn't clear to me that you have to walk 20 min. to the centre, uphill and downhill, so the place is not recommendable if you want to explore paraty centre. However, the beaches in front of the hotel are nice.
Review 2：Nice big room, quiet. The reception lady Monica was extremely friendly and helpful, the rest of the staff much less. Breakfast choice was OK.

Review 9：Friendly staff, happy people living nearly from nothing (please, support them!). Amazing nature - rain forrest and beatiful beaches without people. Excellent food. No electricity (only solar and kendles) - you cannot find many places like that.
Review 10：the walls are quite thin and you can hear what's going on next door. Everytime someone else flushed their toilet, some water was going up mine!
Review 11：The place is spotless in every area. All the staff are always keen to help although only one of the receptionost speaks English. Rooms are large, good power shower. Good quality breakfast.The pool is really nice and not busy, although it is in the shade from early afternoon. The beach is cross the road from the hotel. There is a supermarket 2 minutes up the road (although they tried to con me by charging me extra, so check your receipt) It is 25 minutes walk to the centre of town but easy to get the wrong turn and take longer! you can take the bus named CIRCULAR to town, (the bus stop at the rodovierai is by the public phones). There is one almost every hour. or a taxi is 25 BRL

Review 14：after being told the reception is open 24h, we get back to the hotel 6 am after going out, and the door was looked and no one was there. we had to jump through the window to access to the reception!! next day, we had to wait for our busback to Rio (5pm), they didnt let us leave our bags there, first time in my life that happen... we paid 220 reais for a very poor and unfriendly service.

Review 18：This place was a fabulous retreat, the grounds were spacious, and situated right across from the water. The pool was a pleasant surprise to us. Really close (5 minute drive) to town. The place had a family-owned feel. Beautiful breakfast area on the second floor. We were allowed to use it by ourselves at night when we ordered pizza. Great visit!

Review 49：Not a negative just a reminder that this is not a hostel, no party or youth atmosphere. And that location is quite a treck from the nightlife of the centro but i liked the location right on the beach where i spent most of my time. What i didnt like was that the wifi didn't work for me in the bedroom, it was a pain when trying to rebook things. I also saw other tourists during the wcup struggling with language barriers from the staff.
