Review 1：My son got severely hurt with a door hinge that sticks out more than it should. He fell down and cut his forehead living him a terrible permanent scar.

Review 2：The water park and the hot tub

Review 3：During the winter many of the attractions are closed. The town has a lot more to offer. Food at the Kilborn City grill is not good im my opinion. Large portions of low quality food. Stay away from the pizza place at the water park ! They had like 50 not in use tubes in the lazy river that made it difficult to pass through them.

Review 4：Rooms were spacious and clean. The indoor water park is awesome. The Shuttle service is nice for the rooms that do not have a direct tunnel to the water park. You just try some Fudge from the gift shop!

Review 5：Way too noisy neighbors. Not the hotels fault since it was New Year's holiday during our stay but the noise was our biggest complaint

Review 8：The service and assistance provided by the staff was great. We had a family emergency in the middle of a snowy night and the reception and security staff were really quick in getting us the medical support we needed despite the challenging weather. They were also really friendly and caring for our situation, and followed up with a call to make sure we were fine afterwards. The resort has all facilities and entertainment needed for the whole family, we really enjoyed our stay.

Review 9：Front registration staff seemed undertrained and slightly rude. Could not answer question about room upgrade that they offered to me via email. She got defensive when i told her she was incorrect about the rooms availability and said that the upgrade was a "lottery" and that I didn't get one. Fact was I wasn't looking for a handout I just wanted to pay for my upgrade room at the offered price and was lied to and told they were not available. I got on chula vista website and found the upgrade room available for purchase which means it was available, but was not given to me as prmoised. Also waterpark was not staffed adequately and had waterslides with no lifeguard at times, and was always out of towels because they had no cleaning or support staff to check on the hundreds of towels lying around the waterpark

Review 10：Overall good experience. Indoor waterpark was nice and had plenty for all ages. Tunnel from main hotel to waterpark was nice to keep you from having to outside in the cold to get to and from your room.

Review 11：I have several issues. One is with booking.com. While they accurately described the room. They buried the fact that it was off sight from the main hotel deep in the description. Very misleading. I find it ironic they are only asking about the facility and not their hand in my satisfaction or lack thereof. The chula Vista itself us fair. It seems over extended and not very well cared for. The key didn't work, the toilet didn't work. The fireplace didn't work. For that they like to throw breakfast vouchers in your face.

Review 12：It was a good place to take kids. When I alerted the staff of the problems with room, they attended to them.

Review 13：Our room was dirty it had not been vacuumed right there was crumbs and pieces of food to the side of the beds and the beds smelled horrible I was really upset that we had a villa room but it wasn't what I expected

Review 30：Property located outside of Wisconsin Dells proper - which offered a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the main drag. Also appreciated all the new pans and kitchen utensils in the Villa.

Review 31：Indoor waterpark not as big as other Dells resorts (Kalahari, Great Wolf, Wilderness). They cram a lot in there, but missing a wave pool. Basic rooms smaller than Wilderness.

Review 32：Great setting - nice views of rivers, a little removed from Dells traffic, but still close. Try taking the River Rd route instead of the main highway.

Review 33：Both nights we stayed at the hotel we ate at the restaurant that's right in the lobby. The first night we had good service but the second night we didn't have very good service at all. It took forever to even just get our water. There was only a couple tables so it wasn't that busy. Also our waitress seemed very impatient and a little snippy.

Review 34：I loved the villa that we had! It was very nice! Having all the kitchen amenities was awesome! After being at the water park for a couple hours it was nice to go back to our villa and have a snack and use the stove and stuff! I was bery impressed! Also we really enjoyed the water park!

Review 35：Cleaning staff did not replace towels and shampoo,conditioner almost everyday we were there. We would look for them in the hallway and get our towels,shampoo etc. To make sure we get them.

Review 37：We had 3 rooms adjacent to each other facing the wooded area and river. Very clean and comfortable. The activities were excellent as there were both older and younger guests. The wave pool and adjacent restaurant were a favorite.

Review 38：The room was cleaned good but bathroom had black mold on ceiling and door was splintered at bottom with nails exposed! Balcony screen door hanging half off track and they didn't clean off balcony. Indoor water park needs a lot of TLC Peeling paint and a lot of rust and dirt. Second day we were there they had a leak and shut down water slides! They had no available mechanic! Was not happy!!

Review 41：Keys demagnetized (which easliy happens) so we had to drive back to the main lobby to fix them. Also upon arriving we entered our room and their was already a family in that room. We were both quite surprised. Had to drive back to the lobby to get a new room. Hotel offered complimentary breakfast buffet for the next day which was fantastic!

Review 42：My family loved it. Big waterpark compared to other hotels with comparable rates. Great buffet for breakfast, clean room, and they gave complimentary waterpark wristbands to a family friends that came to meet us for the day.

Review 44：It was beautiful! We loved the closeness to the water parks! It wasn't huge, but we like being able to find each other pretty easily. We had read some reviews about bed bugs, but we had no issues. The master bed was really comfortable, but the kids said the other beds we're less comfortable... The staff was great and answered our requests for shampoo, towels, and toilet paper etc quickly and with a smile. We had a great time and will definitely be back!!!

Review 45：To begin with, we arrived a little earlier than the 4:00 check-in time, so we walked around the complex and returned at 3:58. There were several other people also waiting in line. The line curved out the door. A blonde woman who was at the activities deck to the left of the registration desk, asked everyone to curve the line inside the building and to wait until someone could help us. Everyone complied. There were 2 people at the counter to help about 50 guests that were complaining about how unorganized this was. Soon more people came in to register, the blonde woman told them to go to the head of the line, since everyone else was in a single line for one counter person. This really caused havoc with all the people who had been standing in the line as told. I was near the front of the line and once I was finished I asked the blonde woman her name since she did not have a nametag. She snapped at me, it was Hetty. I told her I was going to make a review of the resort and that I felt what she had done was upsetting to the guests and that most of them were very disgruntled. That was just the beginning. We had booked a villa. When we opened the door, the room stunk of cigarette smoke. This is supposed to be a completely smoke free resort. Our 19 month old grand-daughter had fallen asleep while we waited in line so, we opened one bed to lie her on the sheets. The bedding smelled of body odor. At this point I called the front desk. Someone answered and said she would transfer me to someone that could help me. I was disconnected. So, I called back and no one answered. Then I called booking.com and talked to an agent that tried to resolve the issue. She said that the resort would move us to another room if one was available. Since the baby was sleeping, I just asked for clean bedding and pillows. When I went out into the hall to talk to housekeeping, there was a broken mirror leaning against the hall wall and one there was broken glass and soil all over the carpet.

Review 46：The only part of the water park that was comparable to other newer resorts was the wave pool in the back of the resort. The indoor water park was dark and dingy and had a strong chlorine smell.

Review 47：The sink clogged the night before we left and we didn't put anything in it.

Review 48：We stayed in a villa and it was pretty nice. We enjoyed having a full kitchen equipped with cooking utensils. The balcony was also a plus.

Review 49：Ice maker did not work on our hallway. Refillable souvenir cup would be a good option. Kids eat free option for breakfast buffet. We didn't get our wristbands upon check-in, so we had to wait in line twice to get our stay started.

I have never seen so many lady bugs in all my life !!! they were everywhere....Now lady bugs may not be the scariest of bugs but when u wake up to them crawling all over its very disturbing ...sink in both bathrooms were clogged, toilet had trouble flushing in one of the bathrooms.

Secondly, the free Wi-fi was not adequate for the number of guests; it was "on and off" our whole stay. Thirdly, we thought that 10 a.m. was a late start (why not have adult swim time from 7-9 a.m.?), and that the hours were quite limited overall. Also, the lifeguards didn't seem to even speak English!
