We would suggest up dating and upgrading ALL of the linens they have seen better days.The room appeared to be newly painted and the window coverings appeared to be new as well, so if linens were updated the room would be great.
Review 8：The entire place is run down and dirty. Pool and Hot tub closed and green. Beds and pillows were awful. Rates were very high for the property. No flexibility on check out! Paid for an extra night since we checked out an hour late.

Although the included breakfast is normally available from 7:00am, it was available from 4:00am on this particular day, to accommodate the schedule of guest who were about to participate in the inaugural Yosemite Half-Marathon. Front desk staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
Review 11：Room was noisy. Beds very uncomfortable. Room shabby and needed a deep cleaning. Comforter and blankets very thin and old. Breakfast was the cheapest possible food available. Neither nutritious nor tasted good.

Review 14：Our Room was large but the top cover on the beds were wrinkled like they had been slept in. The carpet was sticky, you couldn't walk around barefoot. The room looked like it was missing furniture. We ended up driving home and not staying the night.

Review 16：The interior of the room is outdated. The sheets were see through (probably from so much bleach). The pillows were not even fluffy, very flat. And there aren't any covers or bed skirt to cover the box spring. The bathroom, specifically the tub was dirty on outside. The cost (holiday weekend of course) was outrageous for the room quality.

Review 32：Because of a screw up at booking.com, I ended up with 2 reservations. At first, the owner refused to cancel one of them. Booking.com was worthless in helping with this even though it was their fault. I thought I had booked this room, but had not received an email. I called booking.com to find out if the booking had been made. They said that I did not have a reservation. So, I made another one. After a significant time, the owner agreed to refund one of the credit card charges. Breakfast would have been better if the 2 waffle makers weren't both plugged in to the same power strip that kept tripping the circuit breaker.

Review 34：1) The pile of trash behind the building--clear it out asap! Eyesore!! 2) Needs more sheets and newer sheeths on the bed. The fitted sheet was too thin, and can see the mattress so it feels like there is no sheet and sleeping directly on the mattress. 3) Need newer pillows 4)Update the shower fixtures and toilets. Flushing is too noisy and it seems like toilet waste alot of water through flushing-need to conserve water!!!

Review 41：Afternoon "manager" on duty when we tried to check in stayedon phone for 10-15 min + without even looking up to acknowledge us, sowe left for the Visitor Center and came back. She was dressed like shewas the one driving 5 hours on a road trip, not like she was themanager. Breakfast was a bunch of processed white carbs & sugar--fruit was limited and in poor condition. Definitely price gouging forthe summer season in this location--paid less than this for a 4-starresort in other mountain areas mid-summer! My 8-year-old called it"America's worst Value".

Review 57：Somehow I booked this room when I thought I was booking the Best Western. Not sure how this happened but I take responsibility. As soon as I realized what I had done I called to cancel as the reviews were awful. I was told the reservation had not yet shown up so I was to call Booking.Com. Booking.Com was very helpful, they called the hotel for me and asked for a cancellation. Even though it had been only a few minutes and the reservation date was a month away they refused saying they would change the date but not cancel. We were going to be charged so we went with it. Some staff was ok, others were so busy texting we couldn't get their attention at the the front desk. Ice machine didn't work. The room felt dirty. Noise from adjoining room early morning showers woke us. Lights had to be flipped several times to work, Lobby bathroom was out of order. Poorly managed and run down.

Review 64：This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in and I have traveled widely. First, they did not have our reservation because one of their staff members has continually failed to confirm bookings from a second party (we booked through booking.com) Apparently, he does this quite often. Luckily (?) there was a cancellation, or we would have been out on the street with no place to stay. When we finally entered the room I was appalled. The toilet had a predominant black ring around the bowl. There was hair in the sink. The room was musty. The bathroom in the lobby was filthy. It looked as though someone urinated in the corner and covered it in paper towels.

Review 66：The bed and pillows were terrible. The sink faucet was not really attached properly to the counter and would move when you tried to use the sink. The drain was also open without a plunger. Breakfast had very few options.

Review 99：I looked up this hotel on line> I was looking for a hotel with a Spa, this one had one. After a long day of hiking, a spa was much needed. Once back at the hotel, I was told that the spa was "seasonal", which was not indicated on the web page. I also went to a nice steak house and had two huge steaks left over, which we planned on saving. After placing the steaks in the fridge, the next day we realized our fridge did not work. I informed the front desk, and the young clerk told me, "yea, the owner knows we have a lot of things that do not work around here". I was shocked to hear this.

Review 120：1.We stepped into the shower after walking on the carpet in bare feet to realise how dirty the carpet must be from the dirt that came off the bottom of our feet. 2. Some of the light globes had failed and needed replacing. 3. The bottom of the entry door needs machining to avoid destroying the carpet in that area. Just small items really, no serious criticism.

Oakhurst is a bit like the modern-day Wild West and it is spread over some distance (as we found out when walking to a restaurant). It has a unique charm though

At the recommendation of the desk clerk we went to the BBQ restaurant down the street and the food was good and with big portions.
