Review 1：It was outdated. VERY outdated! It was pretty clean BUT, ie-- shower clean but needed caulk. Sink area clean except the front area. Room needed a good MAJOR cleaning. Not just the same items over and over

Review 20：This place is so nasty. We all had to go buy sheets and towels because the one's they had in the room looked very dirty and smelt VERY bad.
Review 21：The housekeeping. The bathroom was dirty in one room and in the next, the tub was dirty. The floor needed vacuumed and there was a very bad odor. Maybe replacing the ac filters and steam cleaning the carpets might help. The housekeeping staff leave the doors open, however that is not working. Also the handle and cord of the blow dryer looked as though they have not been cleaned in years. I used carpet deodorizer and febreeze and that seemed to help. However, had to use it each time I returned to the room.
Review 22：The staff went out of their way to assist when needed. All three individuals I dealt with were friendly and helpful. This is especially true of the young lady that checked me in, as it took three rooms before finding one that was adequate. The gentleman, who I assume is the manager/owner went out of his way to find a remote for the television. The rooms appear to have been painted recently, it has a microwave and mini refrigerator and free wifi. You can't beat the price. And the Royal Inn is much better then the hotel next door to it.

Review 27：Not having a room key. The only weird thing we ran across was we were not given a room key. When we arrived back to our room each time we had to go to the front desk and ask them to let us in. I am not sure if this was due to us booking through a website or if they only had 1 key for the rooms on that floor. I did notice the doors on that floor did not have the electronic key readers and required an actual key. This really did not bother us as we only left once in the morning and returned once at night. The manager was very quick to open our room when we asked so we did not have to wait long to get back in our room.
Review 28：Pricing was great! Other than a few cosmetic damages the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had great water pressure. The TV worked and no problems with the cable or the WiFi. The room served its purpose well. Since we are on vacation and do not plan to stay in our room any length of time we do not want to pay for an expensive room. We rather get a good cheap room and spend our money elsewhere. The bed was large and comfortable. Extra pillows were provided and the sheets were clean. This room was perfect and met our needs. We will stay here again if in the area.
Review 29：I reserved my room online. When I checked in, the representative (owner) told me the rates were different. I understand that most hotels and motels have higher rates on the weekends. The fact that I made a reservation online, those rates should be guaranteed. I was charged for two nights which was the weekend rates then was asked to come back Sunday to pay for two more nights. I reserved for for nights online. Rooms are okay but needs remodeling. Service is very, very poor. The cleaning lady banged on the door sometime around 9:30am on both days I stayed there. No hello or good morning just what service do you need. When I told her everything as in cleaning the room like most hotels and motels do, she looked at me crazy. I settled for clean towels which she said she'll bring later on. When I got back to the room, there it was, clean towels left on the coffee table which was beside the room door. They did not empty the trash or replace the linen. They will only clean the rooms after you checkout. Needless to say, after two nights I checked out and went somewhere else. Also, I asked for an iron and ironing board. They dont have one for the rooms. The owner a ctuallyy let me borrow his and he made sure that I returned as soon as I was done with it. Since there was non ironing board available, I used a towel on the coffee table to do my ironing. I've stayed in lower motels in the past and had better service than this.
Review 30：Maintenance guy came to my room when my husband was not there with us. They never had any extra towels, towels were dirty looking with holes, Tub had some black stuff in it that wouldn't come clean, the fixtures on the wall that held the towels were falling out of the wall.

One of the sheets had 2 burn holes in the middle of the sheet. I went to the office for a new new sheet. 3. There were bugs in the room. I had to kill three bugs walking across the bathroom floor. 4. The room had a odd smell. God knows what caused that. 5. The remote control: a) did not turn on tv b) did not adjust the volume c) the remote only changed the station. This place is the worst place I stayed in on the way down to Florida Stay.

No ironing board. Air conditioner had no cover, exposing the coils and wiring. No towels in the room. My wife and I counted 13 roaches during our 6 hour visit. Very upsetting. Toilet didn't flush. Ugh...
