Reviews for Quality Inn Near Grand Canyon

Review 1:The beds were hard. The kids slept pretty good but we did not. There was a mini fridge in the room but no microwave. There was only one in the lobby. The breakfast was until 10 but about 9:30-9:45 the waffle batter ran out and they didn't fill up again. As we were waiting to leave in the lobby the lady with the mop was cleaning the floor right near us. We almost had to lift our feet as she mopped. She seamed upset that we were there during her cleaning time.

Review 2:It was right off the freeway and very easy to find. Front desk allowed a late checkout. There was an area in the back by the pool where the kids played in the snow a bit before we left.

Review 3:The blond girl at the front desk/ reception could not have been more rude and unwelcoming to us. She should not be there

Review 4:3 min away from polar express

Review 5:– No elevator (only 2 floors) – HD tv with no HD channels – TV sat too low to watch comfortably _ Janky ironing board. – Not enough Wifi band with.

Review 6:– Clean room and carpet – Abundant parking – Decent sized breakfast hall – Friendly staff – Decent fridge

Review 7:The walls are very thin and we were woken up two nights in a row by our neighours talking, watching tv and so on.

Review 8:Very friendly staff, close to Williams town centre, nice spacious clean room, very good breakfast choice.

Review 9:Pure breakfast and too small dinery for that big hotel.

Review 10:Very good location, if you are planning to visit Grand Canyon. Easy to find, right on the roadside. Clean, spacious, free parking.

Review 11:Nothing all good

Review 12:There nothing to say hands down very clean and nice place definitely will be back soon . Thanks again for a great weekend my family enjoyed it .

Review 13:The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was decent and filled us up. Overall this was a great value.

Review 14:We had issues with the bathroom and we notified them before going to dinner and we returned and it was not resolved. So we were asked to fix it with a tool or change rooms, they placed us in a disabled room and when I requested a regular room, they have me another disabled room.

Review 15:It was right off the highway

Review 16:We were fine with the hour commute into the canyon however others may not be?!

Review 17:The brekfast was by far the best we have had included in a room rate across our 6 week journey of the states. We have been staying at motels so perhaps that is why but the selection of both hot and cold and variety was greatly appreciated

Review 18:a bagel and peanut butter for breakfast would have been nice. Also, my husband is handicapped and cant walk well. The front desk told him to park in the handicap space out front, then assigned us room 216 clear in the back, and it turned out there was parking in back, just 2 rooms from us. He really struggled to get to our room and the desk girl could have really helped that.

Review 19:breakfast was good, tv worked. Good Price. Our handicapped room was really nice.

Review 20:The coke machine and the vending machine are on two separate ends of the hallways. Lol Not an issue in the least. Loved this place.

Review 21:Can't say enough good things about this place. Will definitely stay here again. The location is right after the interstate 3 minutes from downtown Williams. Definitely newer compared to other hotels in the area.

Review 22:Given keys to rooms which one had not been cleaned. The smell of fruity cleaning products permeated the rooms and even the halls throughout the facility. Made me a bit ill.

Review 23:Close to good food choices. Away from the city a little.

Review 24:A lovely place close to Bryce Canyon. We got a beautiful room with a private shower and toilet. Very nice landlady. Unfortunately, we did not stay for breakfast

Review 25:Very bad coffee No fruit for breakfast

Review 26:Good base for visiting Grand Canyon. Williams is a lovely town. Tasty breakfast. Nice outdoor swimming pool

Review 27:I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. The "eggs" don't get served until 6:30 which means for the early traveler those aren't available and I found the coffee to be not drinkable (some kind of dispensing machine).

Review 28:Convenient to the highway and fuel stations. Parking was ample and easy to use. Overall the entire facility was well taken care of.

Review 29:Breakfast time was a little chaotic as it's served in a small space so places to sit run out quickly.

Review 30:A lovely hotel with nice rooms in a great location for Williams and the Grand Canyon.

Review 31:We were disappointed that the pool was closed despite the fact that the weather was really nice. After hiking the Grand Canyon, we were hoping for a relax in the hotel's jacuzzi but that didn't happen until we got back home.

Review 32:The staff were friendly and we enjoyed staying in a quiet place.

Review 33:When we first arrived experience with desk clerk rooms were not ready & refused to text when rooms would be ready. Rooms suppose to be ready at 4pm we came back at 4pm and still Not ready! but 2nd desk clerk was professional and helpful.

Review 34:It provided easy access to Grand Canyon National Park.

Review 35:toilet plugged up, desk clerk came with plunger and partially cleared. left plunger for me to plunge every time used toilet. told us no rooms available to change even though still selling rooms on net. no other service people available.

Review 36:THE COST WAS EXTORTIONATE FOR WHAT YOU GET. The breakfast was disgusting, one toaster only part working and slow. Only 24 seats in eating area, which is shared with the reception area. Brakfast choice very poor. No lift. For the cost, this was the worst hotel of our trip by a far.

Review 37:Large room, comfy bed, fridge.

Review 38:Poor receptionist struggled to book us in and could not help with any advice - very ordinary hotel over priced ... We moved down the road for half the price and nicer people. Breakfast on horrid polystyrene plates and plastic forks.

Review 39:Swimming pool (although jets did not work in jacuzzi

Review 40:My complaint is with both ,not only the quality inn. It is also with booking.com. The reservation was not a reservation at all. When we arrived we were told we didn't have a room. After showing the confirmation the girl said we can give you one night. We then had to go 7miles down the road to a $200 a night hotel.

Review 41:"Nothing" we had no time to relax as we had to move out the next day. Girl at front desk acted like she could care less about the mixup

Review 42:The room was suppose to be a strict no smoking room. Strong smell of cigarette smoke was found in the room. No elevator to the top floor. We had to carry out 40+ lb luggage up the stairs. I was shocked to see the house keeping ladies carry their service carts up the stairs...

Review 43:Staff were helpful and friendly.

Review 44:When I checked in the room smelled like it recently had a flood or something. It was extremely musty smelling. I told the front desk and they said they would check into it. Which didn't happen. My second night, when we got back to the hotel at 11pm, the door would not open because the security latch inside somehow latched itself. The front desk came down and tried to get it open. They couldn't, and didn't have anyone working maintenance either, but somehow I was able to use a room key to slide in the door jamb and get the latch open. The next day i came back to the room in the evening and the same thing happened. This time it wouldn't open with a room key after 30 minutes so the staff told me to do what i needed to get in the room. It was 10pm again! So...we had to push the door open and break the door frame. Woke up the people next door and I'm sure they werent happy either. Once we got in, we saw that the room hadn't been serviced allday. I'm sure the housekeeping staff couldn't get in either and never told anyone. When I went to checkout, the front desk asked what happened to the door. I explained and she pulled a tool out of the drawer that was made specifically for that. Apparently the other staff working the previous 2 days didn't know about that. Pretty frustrating.

Review 45:I liked that it was located right off the freeway.

Review 46:The people above us were very inconsiderate -loud thumping both nights and mornings-woke us up-husband called and it stopped the first night-mornings were very loud thumping -second night he called again/stopped briefly then started up again-we were not happy!

Review 47:Easy highway access good staff

Review 48:The room smelt musty, there were a couple of hairs in the bath (these did not belong to us) and the hair dryer power socket did not work, although reception sent up a spare hairdryer immediately after it was reported.

Review 49:Staff were polite. A free snack pack was provided upon arrival. Breakfast was pretty reasonable.

Review 50:Found this Motel ideal base to visit the Grand Canyon and was pleased with the comfortable beds and room in general. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good with enough choice for most palates. Would recommend no problem.

Review 51:Perhaps out of town if you want to eat but only a short car journey.

Review 52:Great location close to interstate. Staff very friendly and all hotel very well presented and clean. Great place to stay if you are going to Grand Canyon

Review 53:Stayed in room 139. You need sidewalks at the end of the buildings to make it easier to get from the parking lot to the rooms... It was difficult rolling the luggage across the rocks. Also, the wheels on the luggage picked up mud and brought it into the building after it rained. This was inconvenient. And please address the problem of weeds ... they are full of stickers and became a problem when walking my dog.

Review 54:Friendly staff, clean room, loved the shower... drains well w/ good water pressure. Breakfast was good. Location was close to the interstate and town. Loved your Dog Friendly Attitude.

Review 55:Very expensive for quality of room. No elevator. Pillows were terrible. Beds not great. Parking not convenient to rooms. Broken ironing board not replaced

Review 56:Convience of lication

Review 57:Our bedroom door was unlocked after being gone for over 12 hours. Door did not shut completely as it should. Front desk said maintenance would look at it, but never did. Front desk on duty was rude and dismissive!

Review 58:Everything was great

Review 59:Front desk woman was very nice. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a mini fridge in the room, it wasn't shown as an amenity. Just a 2 minute drive into town.

Review 60:town of williams AZ was nice enjoyed the local shops and the cafe had good food and the pies were amazing! would recommend staying at Laquinta. an hour from grand canyon but enjoyable.

Review 61:Very poor WiFi, the worst I have had on all the places I've stayed at, at half the price!

Review 62:Best breakfast, the buffet attendent " Margarita" kept the entres filled. Kudos to her and her bright smile.

Review 63:Exceptionally ordinary for a pretty steep price. Nothing actually wrong just poor value for money.

Review 64:Location reasonably handy to GC South Rim and Williams township.

Review 65:Very busy breakfast area, had to grab a coffee and yoghurt and eat it outside!

Review 66:Friendly check in, big room with comfy beds and great wifi. Even a coffee maker - we didn't have one in our hotel in Vegas!

Review 67:breakfast area was way to small for the number of people staying there...we were lined up waiting for a table, and the eggs they served were terrible...otherwise, it was all good and I would stay there again. Turned out that "booking.com" did not save us any $$. Same price was given to a walk in for the room....

Review 68:Wi-Fi not too good.

Review 69:Large comfortable room, very friendly helpful staff, excellent breakfast choices. Only an hours drive to Grand Canyon. Would definitely stay again.

Review 70:Breakfast was processed - margarine, horrible juice, white flour/bread everywhere. Fake eggs, lowfat milk, yogurt, etc.

Review 71:Our room was comfortable and clean.

Review 72:The proximity of the Hotel to where we had to catch the Grand Canyon train. The Hotel was absolutely the best place we stayed our whole trip. We would recommend the hotel to everyone.

Review 73:Property is in very poor condition. There is a long list of items in the room that didn't work. Sink drain, vent fan, faucet, electrical plug in. Poor lighting. Dirty room. Very slow wifi.

Review 74:Check in and check out.

Review 75:Our door didn't work which could have been a problem as staff on the desk seemed unsure what to do. Luckily we were travelling with family who had a interconnecting door so it was ok. Also breakfast time is very busy and served in a small area. Having said that, for what you are paying it is great value!!

Review 76:Great price and breakfast included.

Review 77:Free wifi worked great and the staff was very friendly. I pulled into the hotel well before check-in and they were able to accommodate which was very helpful.

Review 78:I was disappointed in the pillows - too thick for my taste. Would be nice to have a variety of sizes. But, that is minor! Everything else was great.

Review 79:Rooms are very nice. We found nice places to eat in Williams. The live entertainment at the Depot restaurant was a nice way to spend our evening after many hours on the road.

Review 80:Nothing

Review 81:Very quiet off highway however it looks as they are upgrading and opening new road don't know how it will be then good breakfast. Great staff. plenty of parking. well priced.

Review 82:Wifi kept disconnecting, other than that no major issues.

Review 83:Ease to check in, used online service to register for room about an hour before arrival. When I got there they already had my info which made it a breeze to check in.

Review 84:Remodeling first floor, so some dust

Review 85:Indoor heated pool, frig and coffeemaker in room and of course free breakfast. Property managers were very pleasant and always smiling

Review 86:No elevator and not suitable for disabled persons. I asked for first floor was denied.Second floor was given was refused for availability first floor. I have a permanent cast on left foot was forced to walk two flights of stairs...Never again When asked for additional towels, on duty front desk was rude and behaved very in appropriately .sent e mail to manager as asked. Same morning left hotel and wouild never return

Review 87:Breakfast Buffet was O.K. Rooms were always clean Was centrally located

Review 88:Front desk girl was not very attentive..was too busy trying to answer phone while checking me in.. Major problem: 11:30 pm the fire alarm started screaming in my room!! Scared my Grandaughter to death!! Then the room smelled for hours, like the heater was burning! Thank God there was no fire, because apparently, the staff had no clue the alarm was going off!! So we froze in the room because we couldn't use the heater without the alarm going crazy! Not very impressed..Spent a lot of money to visit The Polar Express & have a great family getaway, but was disappointed..

Review 89:The room was clean.

Review 90:The only thing we didn't like was that the lobby was not connected to the rest of the hotel.

Review 91:The hotel was very easy to find and at a perfect location just on the edge of town.

Review 92:I didn't like the bed. It seemed too hard and I didn't think there was enough blankets for warmth.

Review 93:I thought the space was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 94:We seemed to have some problems with the room keys resetting and we were locked out of our rooms twice in two days. Not all of our room keys would open the outside door either.

Review 95:Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast attendant. The breakfast was well stocked and when something ran low it was just moments before it was restocked.

Review 96:If we stay at this location again, we will get our 2 adjoining rooms on the 2nd floor. The people above us were very rude and noisy until after midnight, then started back up again early in the morning.

Review 97:Nothing - it's a basic hotel which has everything you need

Review 98:The primary reason I've chosen this hotel is its proximity to Grand Canyon Natl Park (just 1 hour drive north). Staff was very welcoming and they serve a decent continental breakfast (4.5 out of 5). Room was clean and bed were comfortable.

Review 99:I liked the lady that's manning the continental breakfast. She was very helpful and full of smile. Definitely a great way to give someone a good morning.

Review 100:I brought to the attention of a night time hotel staff - she charged a lower amount for for one of my two reserved rooms. It was a mistake but she would not honner the charged price. Thankfully the staff in the morning honnered the price charged and refunded the amount.

Review 101:The hotel is located very close to the train debot. Rooms are clean and appear to be newly remodeled. Hotel provided a free continental breakfast which was great as there were a variety of foods to choose from.

Review 102:I am sad that we wasted our time staying at the Best Western Pony Inn & Suites in Flagstaff. I wished that I booked more time at the Grand Canyon Quality Inn instead.

Review 103:Wonderful staff; professional, kind, welcoming, friendly with children. Good breakfast; attentive breakfast attendant. Our room was clean, accommodating . The hotel is situated in a quiet part of town. You can't hear the trains or traffic from the highway. Close to all the restaurants and train depot.

Review 104:We only had a problem with the front desk lady who said she didn't have any rooms cleaned upon our arrival but only took about 5 minutes to actually find one after asking her cleaning staff.

Review 105:I was able to check in a little earlier than 3pm through booking.com so that worked out really well!

Review 106:This hotel was an economical, wonderful stay before our day trip to the Grand Canyon. Even though it was close to the freeway, our stay was quiet and comfortable.

Review 107:Beds were very comfortable. And our receptionist was most helpful with the internet connection in the lobby. It is the first hotel you see when leaving the interstate - great access after a long drive.

Review 108:The man at the counter almost appeared aggravated that he had to deal with us - not pleasant at all. He rally shouldn't have been on the counter.

Review 109:Loved the restaurant in Williams, where we had dinner that night.

Review 110:IT WAS ALL GOOD

Review 111:I LIKED THAT THE PLACE WAS JUST AS IT WAS DESCRIBED. A WELL PRICED CLEAN & COMFORTABLE PLACE WITH POOL, JACUZZI, BREAKFAST, FRIDGE AND WI-FI.

Review 112:- breakfast can be very hectic, sometimes there are no tables available, so you gotta be lucky

Review 113:- Big and clean rooms - good wifi - Quiet - Load of parking - nice breakfast - Williams is a nice town at night - Relatively good location when planning on visiting grand canyon

Review 114:Noise from floor above - ask to be located upstairs if this would bother you. Staff responded to a complaint very quickly.

Review 115:Location. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast choices. Spacious breakfast room.

Review 116:I could not stay longer.Had to move on.

Review 117:Quiet location, easy access to all things, vary comfortable, clean, caring staff from management to housekeeping. Thank you for making part of my vacation great.

Review 118:Was expecting lower quality because of the price. Booked for 2 nights but alas, the water main broke on the 2nd day so we had to make other plans. Would recommend w/o hesitation!

Review 119:the buildings were not very clean, the electronic door locks to get in did not work most of the time. the screens on our window had two holes in them 1 inch in diameter, the only vending and ice machine I could find were "out of order" If you want " cheap" and not good , this is your place.

Review 120:I picked this on line several months ago. we were on a seven day vacation to Arizona . after some pricey places , I picked this by name and it was only 200 yards from the interstate. the price was right.

Review 121:There was only one vending machine and on coke machine and they were both out of order. The window leaked and we had to out a towel on the ledge to soak up the water. The fan on the heating snd cooling unit rattled. The pillows were very flat and did not provide any support for sleeping. The room was defanitley not worth the $170.00 + tax that we had to pay to get out of the rain.

Review 122:The quality of the Wifi was extremly low and it did not work most of the times. Or you had to go into the Internet in odd times, like at 4-5am, then it would work better.

Review 123:The room, size, layout, comfort, it was great. Breakfast was really good as well, but to crowded = too many people for not enough tables.

Review 124:but some distance from the main action in the heart of Williams, so to go to dinner or the Wild West Show or the shops, you have to drive into town and park.

Review 125:a nice facility

Review 126:Just about everything! Staff was rude, hotel was run down. Called fortowels because there were none at the pool. Had to walk back to our roomfreezing cold. We had to call again and got towels 3 hrs later.....Worst hotel stay ever!!

Review 127:Conveniently located right off of I-40

Review 128:Our room was not quite clean, someone else's dregs were still in the coffee machine and there was a rather shabby feel to the bathroom. Breakfast was chaotic and served on plastic plates, which we felt was not commensurate with the price we had paid. The staff gave us wrong information about the Grand Canyon which made our visit more complicated than it need have been, if they had just told us they did not know the answers to our questions it would have been better.

Review 129:The location was very good for our trip to the Grand Canyon. Our room was quite pleasant. The staff were friendly. The town of Williams is really interesting and we had a fabulous steak at Rod's steakhouse.

Review 130:we had some problems with the neigbour room . The staff was helpful and able to change our rooms to quieter area. It was quiet and nice to sleep. Summary: nice to stay , to Grand Canyon south 1 1/2 h trip.

Review 131:Hot tube did not work! Had to fix toilet. It would not stop running! A sign was on the tank to hold handle until flush was complete. It needs a properly designed handle system !! Not a sign!

Review 132:Location. Breakfast .

Review 133:Carpets were full if hair, I asked them twice to clean it up but it has not been done, bfst area way too small and few options

Review 134:Nice big rooms, comfortable beds, very quiet, good wifi
