Review 1：The noise from cars on the local highway (Manatee Blvd) carried into our room. I'd suggest choosing a room away from the main highway if you're a light sleeper.

Next morning I find out that I was charged more than double of what I really had to pay. It took about 40 minutes for the staff, who apparently was the cleaning lady covering at the front desk!, to correct this error.

Review 39：There is a large gap between the handrail and the walkway. A small child could easily step through it and break a leg. Keep them on the building side of the walkway.
Review 40：We were accused of something from the day before in which supposedly another manager came to the pool to warn us. My husband and I didn't check in to the hotel until dark and we never went to the pool. No person at all ever spoke to us about anything until I checked out. I told Maria that wasn't us and she didn't care to hear any of it. We are here on business and do not need this kind of stress from a hotel. I'm a dental hygienist and my husband owns his own business who travels alot. I can tell you that not only will we never stay, or recommend motel6 we will let everyone know in any and every kind of way not to stay there. Watch out because if you ever say hi or smile at another guest you could be asked never to come back. Even when you don't you could still be accused of it. If you stay in this hotel make sure you know every guest and everything about them because motel 6 expects you to.

Review 98：I will never go back there again. It was horrible. I made the reservation in advanced and checked in around 10:30 on a Saturday evening. As soon as I entered my room I saw a cockroach. I called the lobby and asked for a different room. They said they were full, but they could refund my money. I asked them where was I suppose to go at this time when I didn't know the area? They said to talk to the Manager Penny in the morning. So I did end up staying. I wished I had stayed in my car instead. In the morning I found 6 more cockroaches climbing up the wall, so I was out of there by 6:15am. As I checked out I asked for Penny. Apparently, she does not come in that early but I was told to call later. I left several messages for her the next few days, but she has not bothered to call me back. I had stayed at this motel 1 day last month in a different building near the lobby which was not full of bugs.

Review 102：we are drag racers and your motel is not that far from bradenton motor speedway. it is close to everything around the racing area.
Review 103：no drawers for clothes, no clock in the room, had to pay extra for wifi everyday, no tissues provided, only 1 shower towel given each day I work an outdoor job I would have liked more than 1 shower a day, some of the housekeepers came to early 1 day and refused to come back, wasn't givien a clean comforter (there was a cigarette burn in it which is how I know it was never changed making me wonder of the cleanliness of the room itself daily) the tv had less than 10 channels and half of them were fuzzy, after the booking.com fee expired and I had to pay for additional ngts the fee went up to almost $75.00 p/ngt, quality of the room is not worth the price

Review 105：WI-FI was horrible. It would have been awful if it had been free, but it came at an additional $2.99 per night and, even worse, per person using it. We were traveling together for a church conference and BOTH needed access to the internet. I explained that prior to making the reservation but no one informed me the $2.99 charge did not cover the room, but rather only one person and one device at a time. The service was very slow and unreliable. I was knocked off multiple times during the first night I tried to work. After the first $2.99 charge, I improved my productivity with the puchase of a large Blonde Roast at the nearby Starbucks for less than $2.99 and sailed through my tasks at, by comparision, blistering speed. I would add that the TV channels were also extremely limited, not bad for a short stay, but could easily become tedious for a lengthy one. I was lucky because the NCAA was playing and being covered so the minimal variety was not as troublesome as it could have been. I doubt I could have survived lousy TV that I could not supplement by decent WI-FI.
Review 106：Staff was friendly; housekeeping stayed on top of everything (I was there 3 nights and always had everything I needed). A/C and heat worked fine. Ice machine iced and vending machine vended. The pool was clean and convenient. Good value for the basic traveler.
Review 107：The special requests we were asked to list if we had any were not met. Unacceptable. We requested checkin to be 1:30 to prepare for a wedding at 4:00 after being at the beach. The room was not ready and we were quite disappointed and embarrassed to be late for the wedding. Due to that we will not use Motel 6 ever in the future which is Motel 6 loss as we travel frequently and stay in motels besides weekend get away. Why ask special requests if you dont intend to accomodate? Also at 10:15 in morming housekeeping was knocking asking when we would leave besides 2 times after we said we would go at checkout time.Checkout was noon. Alittle pushy. Alot unacceptable.

Review 110：when we checked in we went to the room and found the neighbors had 2 dogs. they barked at us for opening the door to our room. went to office and the clerk quickly changed us to another room. the room was a great value, nothing fancy but all we needed was a place to crash for the night.
