Review 1：Receptionist made us feel wary on arrival. So many rules and regulations around not removing anything from rooms made us feel quite on edge. Signs everywhere from tv remote at reception to the rule book advising not to remove the dish washing liquid!!! Is it really necessary after all your lodge was only place on our road trip from jhb to ct to take full payment before arriving!! PS. Think you need to replace duvet inners as they were hideously worn out

Review 3：The service is not really great. Checked in on time at 14:00, but our unit was only ready after 16:00 and only after I asked them to hurry. We only got our towels the next morning. No aircon which I missed during the afternoon naps.

Review 9：The mattress is old (Like a rock) a flat sheet would have been nice, the WIFI is none existing when I went and Enquiry about it the guy at reception said they had problems with it for the last couple of months , no soap in the shower,ceiling fan noisy, when we check in they ask if we want the room to be services we tick and say YES and the room was not serviced it's a shock after you been out the whole day and return back at 20h00 and no bed been made and no dishes was clean.The swimming pool was empty. It's a nice location but can improve

Review 15：Its location, right on the water's edge, overlooking the Sentinel peak, was breathtaking. Extremely good value ~ easy, walkable access to restaurants.
Review 16：That you had to drive to get to the beach. No direct access to the beach from the resort. The shower was not working and leaked all over the floor.

Review 33：The sea views were amazing and the place is neat, tidy and clean. Its serene and very calming. The cottage is well equipped and its a home away from home. A pity our stay was so short. Flora Bay is AMAZING!!!

Review 35：There really needs more comfort in the apartments. The rooms are too sparse with no touches of comfort. In the bedroom no bedside lamps. No wifi. The lighting should have dimers which would help. The location is outstanding but the rooms disappoint. The web site shows a pool. But was disappointed that there was a pool but not in operation.

We made it clear when we booked that this was a golden wedding celebration which was almost ruined, the only saving grace was that the management agreed to refund us for the nights we did not stay but we were still charged for the 2 nights we suffered there. Coupled with that we then had to find alternative accommodation which was very difficult , and wasted 2 days, due to holiday season. We would definitely not recommend Flora Bay until such time the work has been completed when we may, reluctantly, look again.
