Review 1：I budget travel a lot, so I was expecting much better linens and towels for $100 a night. I get that it's an older motel, but the sheets were worn and thin and not very comfortable. Motel 6 quality. They advertise their pool, but it's filled in with cement. I get closing it, but don't show pictures of it if it's not available. Red Bluff gets HOT and I'd be mad if I booked a room expecting a pool. Especially when you have to give 72 hour cancellation notice instead of the normal 24 hour.
Review 2：Super nice front desk staff. Located near a nice variety of food choices. Rooms are large. Easy access to 99. Quiet. Well taken care of older motel. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe here. Unlike some motels, they were very respectful that I had a service dog with me.
Review 3：This was the second time I've stayed here. Price is right, everything is very clean and everything worked - TV, microwave, fridge, lights. No problems whatsoever.

Review 7：Conveniently located and comfortable. Room was very spacious. Old-fashioned but in a pleasant way. Delicious Thai food available at restaurant across the street, too.
Review 8：Did not care for foam and plastic cups. Would have preferred a couple of real glasses. Soap and shampoo were small, uninteresting, so I pulled out my spares. Would have preferred the new TV's had already been installed. No food or coffee provided, altho there was one of those make-your-own-coffee in the room.
Review 9：This was a nice older place. Plenty of room, older TV (which owner says will be replaced soon). Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Table & two chairs. Convenient parking. Refrigerator and microwave, although no utensils or plates provided. Bathroom spartan but good shower.
Review 10：I couldn't connect to the WiFi despite vigorous attempts every morning and evening. Ended up having to go to Starbucks. I also got charged $5 more than the price listed online, but I may have misread.

Review 12：The owner/proprietor was very thoughtful, pleasant and considerate. He offered some GREAT recommendations about local attractions and restaurants. The room was very clean and well maintained. This was a great value and really nice experience.
Review 13：The staff was incredible and so kind. We were driving back from Carmel and needed a place to sleep last minute because we were tired of driving. We were greeted so graciously and felt so welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. Great value for your money, clean and spacious room. Will stay here again when passing through.
Review 14：The mattress was soft. The bedcover did not seem very fresh although the sheets were clean. The fabric armchair was stained although the rest of the room was very clean.
Review 15：The guy on reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a handy Thai restaurant across the street where you can get a 10% discount if you are a motel guest. The room was really a total throwback to the 70s.

Review 18：The owner and the staff were very friendly. All the conveniences such as microwave, fridge, tv/cable, and wifi were included. The furnishings were little dated, but everything was clean and comfortable. A nice alternative to the chain motels.
Review 19：Like shopping for gas it often pays to drive a short distance away from the off-ramp. Sportman Lodge is like that. Quiet, inexpensive, big room and big window to let in light when the temps are cooler. Considering the big 6 or 8 chain? Give this a try.

Review 21：Very clean, older motel. Very friendly when I checked in. If you are on a budget or on business this is a great place to stay. Because I booked ahead when I arrived they had the lights on and the air conditioner running.
Review 22：I expected a pool because all of the photos show a pool, but zero pool. Also, it is a non-smoking motel, but obviously one smoked in for many, many years. Still has that smoky patina.

Review 24：This was a secret Gem. We wished we had seen it at the beginning of our trip. it is close to shopping, and dining. And it was so quiet and safe. We loved the vintage furniture. Not old, and in poor repair, but good, sturdy, generous and comfortable, made well furniture that make you feel at home. The owners are wonderful and kind .
Review 25：The motel while older was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was a nice sized stall shower and the towels while not luxurious were not paper thin either. The manager had turned on the air in the room before I got there which was very nice.

Review 31：the room was dirty like the walls and celling had coffee or sode splattered on it dirty hand prints the frig had mold and stuff spilled in it the shower floor had to be washed before using we went a got some cleaning wipes and had to was down the table and coffee area along with the light switches had to was the coffee maker

I have stayed at many hotels in this price range around northern california and this is the best I have found yet. iit'S clean, quiet, safe, has comfortable beds and A friendly staff. if you're looking for A cheap place to stay the night while spending your days out and about it'S perfect.

Review 74：This motel must've previously been efficiency apartments. The room I had was spacious, clean, comfortable, and furnished like home! Cable was great, and the Internet was free and quick. Parking was ample, and location was also convenient. There was no noise in the room, surprising since the fairgrounds are so near! The owner was exceptionally courteous and helpful, and even recommended me to restaurants where I could get a discount. For the price, I could not relieve what a nice stay I had! If I ever return to Red Bluff, I will without doubt return to this place!
