Review 1：Water park was fun, my friends and I had a great time, it's a little more aimed towards kids... But we are all in our early 20's and still had a blast! Beds are pretty comfortable and the room was neat and clean! ☺️

Review 5：We loved the hotel and the waterpark. It was just perfect for an 8 year old and a two year old. They had a movie matinee for the kids and a craft session... very kid friendly! Will definitely come again with the grandkids! :)

Review 8：The pillows are absolutely horrible. Everyone in the group complained how awful they were. The heating/cooling system was aggravating. Was difficult to regulate room temperature.

Review 9：The staff tried to be accommodating since we had a family gathering and had 24 people attend. The rooms were clean and the waterpark was nice. Shuttle service to main casino was appreciated.

Review 10：The wave pool was down when we showed up. Then, someone pooped in the pool at 6 pm. My kiddos didn't get to do much but the splash pad.

Review 12：Our room did not have hot water when we arrived. We called the front desk and maintenance came out quickly, he was able to get hot water to the sinks but the water to the shower was still lukewarm. We also requested a crib for our 4 month old when we reserved the room but they did not have any more available when we arrived. We were aware this could happen, but it was still a little disappointing.

Review 13：We loved using the water park, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfy. We were also offered a 20% discount on our room because one of the features of the water park was not available.

Review 14：The climbing wall never opened and there was another attraction that was already slated to be closed down. There was no reason for the climbing wall to remain closed both days. We asked and were repeatedly told that it would open but never did. The 2 attractions for older kids were closed. We were informed that the wave/boogie board attraction would be down.

Review 15：Waterpark was underwhelming! The main reason we chose your hotel was the surf machine but it which was shut down. The waterslide was fun for our 12 year old but rest of waterpark was for small children. Many other places offer much more in water park features and we drove a long way. We did like going to casino but when we compare to other casino experiences - we did not like it. Parking was limited and no valet at the hotel - it was sleeting when we arrived so it was miserable to park and unload. Rental for cartoon movie in our room was $18 - ridiculous! Plus tax! Overall no intention to come back.

Review 17：It was colder in the 3rd floor even with the heat on 80 degrees. Also in the splash area I had my tablet wrapped up in a towel & housekeeping put it in the laundry & we later found it she just thought they were dirty towels.

Review 19：Manager Dan was rude...We ordered a movie for the kids and it took over a half hour. When it did come on it shut down. A woman at the front desk offered it for free but the night Mgr Dan called the room being arrogant & rude to my daughter in law reversing his employees decision. My son went to the front desk and asked for the Mgr to file a complaint. The Mgr. Dan leaned against the counter, folded his arms and stated he was the Mgr. in charge and no one was above him, and his decision was final. Both he and my son were raising their voices and the Mgr. called the Police, who came to the Lodge. This situation could of been handled more appropriately by both parties but from a guest viewpoint, arrogance, abbuse of authority create a bad repetition .

Review 21：We went to the water park for my son's second birthday. He loved wandering around the facility. We spent hours going down the slides and swimming in the pool. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful.

Review 49：There were several issues with the room including, the tv did not workwhen we arrived, there were food remnants left in the microwave (Yuk!),the bathroom sink was clogged & ver slow to drain and one closetdoor would not roll / close. The water park portion was mediocrewith the surf ride closed for repairs / maintenance, there was nocorresponding reduction in the entry fee. I was also charged an entryfee just to sit in there while my 12 year old son used the facility.

Review 52：The main reason we went was for my granddaughter's birthday and all she talked about was the flow rider and it was not working, had we known that we would have cancelled. The vent in the bathroom did not work and we brought our own cake and had a hard time finding where we could celebrate her birthday.

Review 57：I had booked a room on the first floor on July 30th, 2015 for September 12th. Upon checking in the room was on the third floor. I was told because I didn't book the room directly with them, the room wasn't guaranteed. I was disappointed with that answer.

Review 59：The room was fabulous. We left your hotel and traveled on to Mackinac Island to stay at the Grand Hotel. Our room at your hotel was much better then the Grand which cost a fortune to stay there. We would love to come back to your resort in the future!!

Review 70：This Stay was beyond amazing. We were staying for our anniversary after finding this out management upgraded us to a king suite. The Rooms were amazing very well cleaned and it was very very modern design. There is no breakfast but the restaurant had great meals and room service. For the people that are looking for relaxing spot other then the water park they do have a separate hotel pool which is nice for the adults. The water park is a nice touch for a family but they do have a nice tiki bar and cafe in the water park. Location was great close to many restaurants and shops. Also only about a mile from the casino which they provide a shuttle for if you don't want to drive. I am beyond happy with my stay at this hotel and will be back. The staff was great as well always friendly.

Review 71：The room was freezing even after I adjusted the thermostat. The phone was very temperamental as far as getting them to actually sit on the charging plates.

Review 77：The room was very clean. Wifi was excellent. The waterpark was Amazing. The food from both the restaurant and snack bar was very good. We loved the idea of renting one of the cabanas. It was a great way to have a central location for resting and checking in with the kids. Having shuttle service to the casino was a plus.

Review 98：When I arrived, the representative was unable to locate my reservation. I was told to pay now (a much higher rate) and then call booking.com to handle the matter with them afterwards. I asked the representative to check again and he still didn't see it. At that point a manager respondedly very curtly that there was nothing he could do about it and then said, so what do you want to do (as in are you going to pay the rate we told you or what?) He seemed rushed and bothered that I was even patronizing the establishment. When I addressed his rudeness to another person, he calmed down and made a few calls. About 10 minutes later, the reservation was located and he got me checked in with a smile. I, too, was frustrated with the situation of not having the reservation come up. But certainly, if I was keeping my cool, I feel like he should have, too. I did thank him for his time, the effort in locating the reservation and smiling at the end. It reinforced that people are human; therefore no situation can be perfect, but that redemption goes a long way.

Review 117：The nature of the water park of course makes it a popular place kids, especially on a cold rainy weekend. The place was overran with loud, overjoyed kids for most of the day- and I expected that. Things kind of quieted down around 8 pm. That's when you can jump onto the slides with very little wait!

Review 118：Me, my husband and our toddler stayed at the hotel after being rained out at our family lakefront cottage. We made a reservation early in the morning and was able to get an early check in! I was very appreciative of that! Our room was very clean and comfortable, with modern decor and furniture. The microwave came in very handy for heating up little meals for our toddler. The water park itself was pretty fun! We took turns breaking away from the child to enjoy the two water slides! There were mini slides, pools, a lazy river, and spraying water everywhere- most of which allowed my toddler in with a life jacket and adult supervision.

Review 119：Could not control the TV volume @ the TV or on the remote. Could not hear t he program. Direct TV signal not good, kept losing the show. Pool cold, hot tub warm not hot, sauna and steam room not working.

Only downside - hotel restaurant - just avoid it and enjoy the other nearby chain eateries. Nearby casino, onsite golf and even an affiliated rv park offer something for everyone! I will be heading back soon!

Review 126：Need to police the hallways, had rude people in the hallway at 3:00am F-bombing for 1/2 hour. Was terrible and then the little kids hit the hallways at 6:00am.
