Review 1：It's a motel. The appearance of the motel is not pleasant
Review 2：The owners were very nice. Room was very clean, comfortable beds, and we felt very safe.
Review 3：The location is very convenient to US50 but we were not bothered with highway noise. The price is very reasonable for this area and the room was more than adequate for sleeping and showering. The owners are very helpful to resolve any problems which might arise.
Review 4：We had cigarette smoke coming in from adjoining rooms and took it up with management. The mattress cover was stretched and well worn revealing the dirty mattress underneath throughout the night. The shower curtain bar looked like someone did a pull up on it - barely attached to the walls and the towel bar was missing altogether. I couldn't sleep as the walls were paper thin - revealing every movement of our neighbors next door.

Review 6：Room was too "perfumed", trouble with shower handle to adjust water temperature and get turned off without a leaking drip afterwards, no grab bars in shower, no heater for bathroom.

Review 10：I asked for a nonsmoking room but got a room that reaked of smoke and I'm still coughing. My room had a "handicapped" shower and the hot water was turned down so I had cold showers while my friends in the room next door had hot showers.

Review 14：This is a little motel with very clean, nice rooms. It is only 5 minutes away from Placerville in a quiet area just off the freeway. They have a well-kept garden in front and everything we needed in the room. It was well worth the price. I'd stay there again any time.
Review 15：Staff was extremely rude, was there for one night with friends for a music festival. They Charged me an extra 250$ for smoking in the room which we did not, then they continued to accuse us of having multiple people coming in and out of the room when we were asleep the whole time. Had no good reason of why they charged us besides them saying the maid saw us smoking in the room

Review 26：The only redeeming quality to this place was the pool. After a hard day visiting my Mom in hospice I was looking furwars to a swim and they closed the pool down before night fall. Disappointed.

Beds are comfortable with decent linens.. but those bed spreads have to go. Solid colors in a neutral tone would give the room a more modern appearance.

There are multiple outlets, a comfortable bed, a good air conditioning unit, wifi, along with coffee, TV and a refrigerator that makes the room very functional. Great price and all you need for a couple passing through. The pool was nice and clean. They take care of the property. You don't think resort when you see it, but it surprises you on being a nice place to spend a night. It is near HWY 50 but quiet.

Review 67：Parking lot needs repaving. We had to wait about 15 minutes to check in because the lady at the desk was on the phone - in the back room. Wasps in the water feature right outside our room. There were many room issues that needed to be addressed in our 4 rooms (broken front door, missing shower curtain rod, burned out bathroom bulb, mildew in a bathroom). When my husband took the burned out bathroom bulb to the front desk for replacement, she made him go back to our room and call the maintenance guy and give him him the numbers on the bulb, instead of taking care of it for us.
Review 68：The motel itself was built in 1950, doesn't look like much has changed on the outside. I'm one for nostalgia though. The pool and garden were VERY clean and well kept. The rooms were clean. We were welcomed to check out the rooms before we booked. Staff was friendly. Microwave and mini-fridge in each room. Appears they are trying to update the rooms. The room rates are good, as long as they don't raise them.
