Review 2：The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is very well maintained in terms of cleanleness and its got everything a traveller need. I enjoyed the queitness and nature. Oh I almost forgot the private beach and the fact that its close to all the amenities such as Mall.

Review 3：Upon our arrival the aircon wasn't working and it was extremely hot. Only after the 3rd request/ complaint did the lodge call out a company to come and repair it. The beach is very unsafe - during high tide there is literally no beach with trees and parts of the banks being pulled into the ocean.

Review 4：The rooms were clean and comfortable and the convenience of having everything close.

Review 5：Chaos with our reservation, very unfriendly reception, cause they didntfound our 2. night - gave us the feelig we did somerthing wrong. Wantedro book another hotel for us. Need time if you are at the restaurant.Min. 2 hours, but the food was very good. Very tiny pool for so manypeople. Seaview only from the bar, not from the lodge. Wifi never works,no matter what they tell you. Once shortly at the sundowner bar!

Review 6：High secure with first gate and second gate at reception with boom gate.Own garage for each car. Beautifull view and very nice staff at thesundowner bar. Beach nearly private.

Review 8：Very beautiful place excellent service from the restaurant and the bar the only challenge from the bar kitchen was to wait for our meal for more than 2 hours other than that we had a great time

Review 9：We did our booking through Booking .com and when we arrived at the lodge "booking .com" did not do any booking for us !! although we had our confirmation letter stated that we were booked .

Review 10：After we discovers that booking .com didn't do our booking the lady at reception made a plan so that we had a room to stay (It was not what we booked but at least we had a place to sleep !!So ya we did enjoy our stay with them and will definitely do it again .

Review 11：The only thing that was a slight pain was that sometimes it took very long to fulfill your order, which you may have to collect yourself at the end, but you're on holiday so be patient.

Review 18：Breakfast: No cups,saucers & spoons. Had to ask. Waiter brought me wrong breakfast after a long wait. I then waited again for omelet : it still had transparent egg white inside (gross!). 2nd day dirty cutlery, poor service again. Turn around time for business people needs to be quicker and the cold meats and fruits need to be replenished quicker.

Review 28：We loved the beach access and the view from the decks! I don`t know another accommodation that close to Richards Bay`s beach. The wooden cabins are very cosy and clean,we loved the tropical vegetation that surrounded us. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others. The friendly staff are great and we enjoyed our food thoroughly at your restaurant!

Review 29：Not a bad experience, but the interiors walls look plastic. could be over varnished. maybe a softer look to match the flowing curtains and crisp white bedding.

Review 30：the Serenity, the helpful staff, crisp bedding, cleanliness, cabin staff /ground staff very quite. just love the block out curtains. honesty of cabin staff. left my cell phone before i left reception advise that the cabin staff had phoned to say my phone was left in the cabin, and delivered the phone to me.

Review 31：The tranquillity, the space between the wooden chalets. The birdsong when you wake up. Being away from noise. Hearing the Fish Eagles call and being able to sit on the lookout deck and to see the sea.

Review 35：Was a real value for money! Very comfartable and so nice. Aircon was a life saver unfortunatley the free wifi was a myth. Sundowner bar is a must, best cocktails, great staff and spectacular view!

Review 36：One's fingerprint has to be registered to be able to gain access to the beach, which took about 20 minutes. When we tried to go to the beach the next morning, the system did not work. Upon phoning reception, we were told that all fingerprint registrations were lost, and that we had to return to the office to repeat the procedure. The gate could not be opened remotely.

Review 38：I liked the environment, cleanliness and comfort of the place. The friendly staff even the chef at the restaurant that first day when I arrived was so friendly. everybody there was so caring, I had no water at some stage and that was quickly attended to and the lady from the reception walked to come and check whether the problem was fixed and also called at night to check whether I need anything. professional staff indeed.

Review 39：We did not like the breakfast we had at the restaurant, we had an aftertaste of reused oil, also the restaurant was out of certain products when we had diner and the waiters that served us where not aware of it.

Review 57：Imvubu lodge didn't make our booking, they blamed booking.com, but when checking out I saw the email that they received the booking. They didn't listen to our additional requests. A monkey tried to get into our room in the night. The receptionist on check-in was patronising. We didn't receive ice-creams in our room like all other guests

Review 58：We attended a wedding at the venue and it was incredible. Our room was walking distance from the reception. We saw crocodiles on the lake.

Review 59：I booked this place specifically because on Booking.com it stated there was WiFi in all rooms. When I booked in - I was told there was none. Chalet was still being cleaned when we arrived...30 mins after stated booking in time. Floors were gritty to walk on. Hairdryer did not work, fridge had not been wiped out, tea not replenished. When it came time to pay... they requested 200 rand more than the stated price with Booking.Com..... It was all just poorly done!

Review 60：Could not say there was anything to like per se.... adequate was about it.

Review 61：When we try to shower the first night, we found that the coldwater tap was broken.The handyman could not fix it the following day and we had to move to another unit. It was not handled very nicely and with any sympathy. They let us feel as if it was our mistake, especially the white gentleman that was with the handyman the second time when they say we must move to another unit. The problem is not the broken tap or the fact that we had to move but the way it was handled. The only other thing that was a problem for us was the very small tv set in the second unit.

Review 62：The beautiful surroundings as well as the clean and comfortable unit. Also the peace and quite of the place. a Very nice and comfortable bed with fresh , clean linen. The office staff was very efficient , quick and friendly when booking in.

Review 63：There isn't any proper access to the beach (half the stairs aremissing), the power kept tripping in our room (the staff said "NOTAGAIN" - so needs to be sorted out) then the tv wasn't workingin our 2nd room. It was just the moving from chalet to chalet late atnight that was an inconvenience.

Review 65：We were given a room that smelled strongly of smoke and did not look like the pictures online. When we asked to be moved to the room that we booked we were told the hotel was full. The beach is nearly 1km walk from some of the rooms. The sun decks are surrounded by barbed wire. The rooms were tired looking, but clean.

Review 69：The front office staff are very incompetent,they do not answer the phones,in the middle of a morning shower the power cut and I had a cold shower,it only came back after 3 hours, poor house keeping,the toilets were dirty and there were condom wrapping beside the beds which was absolutely disgusting.
