Review 1：Had troubles with toilet. It was overflowed with toilet paper I'm guessing by the guests before us.
Review 2：Loved the whirlpool located next to the window to overlook the beautiful view. Nice kitchenette and decent sized room.
Review 3：The hot tub didn't work: yes, when the jets were finally pulled out, you did get a slight swirl of water movement, but no jet induced bubbles. The strike plate on our door to the outside was malfunctioning, and someone came in and pilfered my suitcase for a $600 watch that i should have hidden in the vault, but was too rushed for our 7pm dinner plans to remember. The door pushed right open when we returned, and then at 2am, when i got up to use the bathroom, it was open and ajar again. I spent 5 minutes attempting to engage the lock/bolt safety lock below the door handle. it was jammed. Also, the door leading to the balcony was swelled shut, and took herculean effort to push open. the tv remote had dead batteries, and was not checked out by housekeeping. The mattress needs replacing, as it was soo overly soft, you felt like a gecko held hostage in a buffalo wallow. We both had sore backsides from our sleep. For the extra price we paid, we didn't get the value for our money, and will probably not return ever again. The loss of that watch was priceless, as my kids got it for me for my birthday.
Review 4：The weather was bad, and didn't cooperate, but the view was nice; the shower had hot water; the fridge kept our bottles of wine cold; the maintenance man who attempted to repair our whirlpool jets seemed nice. Next time we locals want a room with a view by the ocean, we will go to Best Western at 1300 East Oceanview, Norfolk, where whirlpool rooms can be gotten for $59 and we get a free hot breakfast of omlettes, hashbrowns, waffles, biscuits and gravy and awesome coffee. This was an eye opening experience, and from now on, we will stay closer to home. thanx for teaching us a lesson.

Review 15：The bathroom 'silent fan' did not work. After every shower the entire bathroom was hot and everything in the bathroom was wet. Asked for maintenance to look at it, but don't believe it was fixed. Issue continued all week. Would have liked the pool area to have more than 1 table and 1 umbrella. Also some barbecues would have been a nice touch
Review 16：The room was large with plenty of space so we didn't feel we were on top of each other like other hotels. It was clean and location was perfect.

Review 18：Even though we didn't fire it up during this stay, we like having a hot tub in the room. The location at the inlet and on the Boardwalk can't be beat. The area isn't as busy during the week as northern parts of the beach. This is our favorite anniversary trip spot and we will be back next year.

Review 40：Not being able to drop off my heavy backpack. Prior to checking in. So I could enjoy my ride (motorcycle)to honor the fallen Navy Seals. Was told front desk to small. Other hotels bend over backwards to accommodate their guests. Expecially for a good cause.

We think someone tried to get in our room because the door was lock when we went out but was crack when we came back, we had a do not disturb sign on the door. Nothings was taking..

Review 64：While it may have been a little dated I'm more concerned with the view and the room size both of which were excellent. Its on the fringe of the beach which was perfect for us. If you're seeking more activity try the 22nd street area. Overall the staff and house keepers were very pleasant. Tremendous views!

Review 67：There was an event that weekend and we checked in on Sunday night. They started taking down all the stage equipment at 6:30 in the morning. It took them 3 days to take it down. There are also military planes the fly over early in the morning and are very loud.

Review 70：The Schooner is in a nice location at the south end of Virginia Beach. The Inn is right next to Rudee Inlet and Grommet Island Park. This is great if you have kids. Ours loved the playground and it was fun to watch the fishing boats leave for the day. The hotel is also within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. There is easy access to the boardwalk and beach as well.
Review 71：Not enough comfortable seating in room. Everything is bit dated. Bathroom is small. Understand that it is a beach location but it was a bit pricey for the level of quality.

Review 74：The view was of the ocean was exellent, the room was clean and well cared for. The kitchenette was a welcome surprise the staff was friendly ,however,though no fault of Schooner Inn, many of the other guest were rude and inconsiderate.
Review 75：No extra seating in the rooms. The only place to sit was the bed. The kitchen facility is adequate, however, there is no place to sit and eat what you prepare. They will only issue one parking pass per room. This was very inconvenient as I came from Maryland and met my friend from another state, yet we were only "allowed" one parking pass, even though the lot was never full. The front desk people were not too friendly, nor helpful. Plus, we were given bogus info on where else we could park.
Review 76：This is a fantastic location with beautiful ocean views at the very end of the boardwalk and beach. The heart-shaped tub was cute and took up a very large portion of the room. Never had the chance to use it.

The pool was the perfect temperature and not crowded and the other guests were easy to get along with and not annoyingly out of control....Will stay there again!
Review 94：It is a little far from some of the attractions on Atlantic Ave. The rooms are okay but far from luxurious. The housekeeping staff could be more thorough when cleaning the floors when you are tracking in sand. But still a good value.
Review 95：The Oceanfront Room and the kitchen area are awesome. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location at the end of the beach is next to the playground and the Pirate Ship. It is close to some good restaurants on the beach.
