Review 1：Little surprise at our arrival, the cleaning fee were not included ($95), which wasn't announced at anytime when I booked the room and changes the overall price for the rental not in a good way. Also the sofa bed in the living room was a joke, not comfortable at all not even for a kid.

Review 7：The Shores is an amazingly beautiful place, situated on one of the most awesome places on the planet. The villas are huge and wonderfully appointed. Beds were extremely comfortable and the area was quiet so we rested well. We were lucky enough to have rooms adjoining the golf course and enjoyed nice sunsets from our decks. Everything was perfect.
Review 8：At least salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen would be very welcome. Small items, but can be really useful. For a couple of days it has no sense to buy huge quantities of them while small presentations do not exist.

Review 10：Beware- they give you a pot to make coffee, and a starter pack, but it's not enough to get a fish out of bed. They over did it on the cheap fluorescent lighting. At night, everything was sort of light green. and not a decent lamp to be found. Kind of kills the term "luxury," which this place should be. 4 of 5 of us could not pull out the hide-a-bed to save our lives. It took someone 6' 2" & 230 lbs. But our friend had to wait 3 hours before he could go to bed. The furniture, in general, was very used up. I'd say they are at the edge of what they can charge for this place. Also, beware; we spent an hour looking for this place. Aston shores is a private group within "the shores," which no one told us in advance. The signs all point to The Shores. If you get there, you are in the right place. push the buzzer. Someone will let you in. But what a goose-chase it was.
Review 11：Location and price were great for 5 people, for one night. It had everything we needed and the place was clean. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, which looked inviting. Hilton Waikaloa is nearby. Walking to Starbucks is doable if you're a walker. Maybe 1 mile away. I would recommend you only use this place for somewhere to put your head at night, but stay out all day, and come back and rent a movie from the office.
Review 12：Our 2 br condo was really lovely. Beautifully decorated with a large lanai overlooking the golf course, it was quite comfortable for all 6 of us. We had friends staying across the road at the Hilton which was an easy walk away.

Review 20：Very nice apartment on the top floor (very well equipped kitchen + washer/dryer). The grounds are really beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is right next to the Hilton so you can go and watch the dolphins.

Review 25：The place may be a little bit strange for people from abroad. Its simplya holiday resort in U.S.:-) Active people, especially those who do notcare about golf (everybody looks surprised here that such people doexist), will be bored after one or two days, locked between beach,restaurants and apartment. If you want to see more than resort itself,you have to use car on everyday bases. And - as usual in U.S. - its hardto get know what the final price is, there is tax here and tax there,some mandatory amendments... The final price was about 10% higher than Iexpected although some services you are not charged for (wi-fi) - butmay be I did not read all info carefully enough.
