Reviews for Yosemite Bed and Breakfast
Review 1:The remote control from another room was controlling our tv. It was funny but annoying since we couldn't always watch what we wanted.
Review 2:It was a great, cozy place to stay and the owners were very nice. The location was a little further than expected but it enabled us to see wildlife we would not have seen otherwise.
Review 3:Room was cramped for 3 people.
Review 4:The host family was friendly and served an excellent breakfast. The view from the deck was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the animals poking around. We also enjoyed exploring Mariposa.
Review 5:Clay and Joy were fabulous hosts and their property is perfect for a visit to Yosemite. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast delicious and spending time on their deck to enjoy the view and watch the wildlife was a wonderful experience.
Review 6:The biggest problem was the pocket door to the shower bathroom. It would only close halfway and get stuck. One of the towel rack was loose and hanging from the wall. They fixed the rack but the pocket door was not fixed. They thought problem was the shower door. I clarified which door so hopefully, it will be fixed for the next occupants.
Review 7:We like the location just 10miles outside of Mariposa Town. Fell in love with the decorated bedroom. It had two bathrooms - one with toilet and the other with a standing shower. The shower looked like the Orgasm-atron from a Woody Allen movie. The owner and servers were very nice and made everything family style. Wild deer and turkeys would come in the morning to beg for food. They also had binoculars and telescopes to view the many animals and the night stars. The owner's wife is a great cook. Best scramble eggs and pancakes that I ever ate!
Review 8:Waaaayyyyy way away from Yosemite . The name is misleading as you away in the middle of know where and there is quite literally nothing else around
Review 9:Nice healthy breakfast but hosts insist on not serving untill 8.30 am This means by the time you eat Breakfast , drive to Yosemite outskirts and park then have to take a shuttle bus because you arrive in National Park so late that staff will not let you park as it is full . We did not get to the actual Mariposa Grove till 12 pm which is ridiculous !

Review 11:Clay is a wonderful person, who showed us around when checking in. This place is well decorated and you can stay comfortably with seeing birds, deer and the nature. It's the best place I live during this trip.
Review 12:Clay and Joy were wonderful hosts. They made us feel at home and Joy's breakfast was delicious. The location is a dream. The birds, especially the hummingbirds, are a delight to observe. The room was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Yosemite.

Review 21:NOTHING
Review 22:CALM. COMFORT. SWIMMING POOL. LOTS OF ANIMALS AND BIRDS TO SEE
Review 23:So silent, nice environment and nature, on short distance from Mariposa with lot of restaurants. Very helpful owner.
Review 24:Friendly owners, good conversation. Beautiful setting. lovely breakfast. Made to feel at home.
Review 25:The Tv operation was a bit confusing.

Review 28:There is nothing to dislike
Review 29:Great hosts, great location, great facilities, great breakfast. 10/10. B&B as it should be.
Review 30:3 weeks road trip in west USA and definitely our favorite location, a place where you want to stay more nights as ordered, delicious breakfast prepared by lovely host Joy and Clay, dinner on the terrace with the deers and humming-birds, magic!
Review 31:It was just a bit too far from Mariposa too buy food/supplies etc for evening meal. You just had to be organised. But the location made up for it.
Review 32:The hosts were tremendous and nothing was too much trouble. There were excellent opportunities to see hummingbirds, other birds and deer. The room was clean and comfortable, with added bonus of a pool.
Review 33:We really liked this place. It is off the beaten path in the foothills. Very quiet, nice scenery. They upgraded our room and we really enjoyed the extra space. The deck on the back was so pleasant to sit and admire the countryside, birds, wildlife. Lots of beautiful flowers and landscape. The meals at breakfast were gourmet. The owners had lots of good advice on things to do, places to see, and restaurants.
Review 34:Booking.com had this place listed as 5 star when we made our reservation (currently listed as 4) but in our view should be no more than 2. Room was so small we could hardly move around. In room decor and facilities all very dated and in need of refurbishment. On reviewing the Booking.Com website we realise we should have done far more research about the property and that we were completely mislead by the 5 star rating and from reviews of the property which are unrecognisable to us following our visit.
Review 35:Clay, the owner, and his family are very nice and friendly people who strive to provide every comfort for their guests. We found it very difficult to express our disappointment to them and to say we would not be staying the 2nd night of our 2 day reservation. Location is in very beautiful countryside but around 8 miles from Mariposa which was not made clear in the property details.
Review 36:Very friendly, lovely hosts, nice and large rooms, very clean, excellen breakfast in a very private, welcoming atmosphere, prestine environment with lots of wildlife
Review 37:Nothing except perhaps we were expecting to be on the yosemite side of mariposa, but we did get used to it.
Review 38:The personal touches from the genuinely welcoming owners was in pleasant contrast to the somewhat impersonal treatment of hotels. The room was well appointed and comfortable.
Review 39:The 'outside common area' could have been cleaner/less dusty/dirty. Rooms were smaller than pictures suggest.
Review 40:Location was further out of town than listing suggested but it did allow us to see the wildlife. Breakfasts were great.
Review 41:No house keeping service and as one of the owners was away, the pool was in need of a clean.
Review 42:Great to meet other people at breakfast. Outstanding breakfast, just wish we could find room to eat it all! Comfortable room and the pool was a bit hit with the kids. The hostess was friendly and helpful.
Review 43:Nothing negative!
Review 44:Great hosts, great environment and rooms, the breakfast is really yummy as well! we enjoyed our stay very much. Close to yosemite for convenient drive. You can watch wildlife from the veranda.
Review 45:Clay & Joy, Location, Breakfast, Comfort and Peace Perfect Peace
Review 46:Too far out of mariposa for going out to eat in the evening.
Review 47:Homely feel and good breakfast
Review 48:Very quiet, beautiful view from balcony, tasty breakfast, hospitality and more.
Review 49:secluded
Review 50:delicious breakfast friendly host secluded and very quiet large rooms
