Review 1:Airport shuttle was terrible! Called 3 times and waited over 45 min to get picked up from EWR in the cold. Hotel staff apologized on the phone and said van would be sent right over however we waited 30 min and finally called again and got same apology.

Review 3:The walls are paper thin. The adjacent guest had the TV on full volume at midnight when they returned and then snoozes their alarm about 3-4 times which we heard everything of.
Review 4:Very comfortable bed. Dark room when closing down at night. Nice facilities. Nice staff in the restaurant. Held on to our luggage while we did a day trip out.

Review 7:The shuttle services was incredibly poor. My experience with the service was bad, both on arrival and departure. once I arrived at the airport I called the hotel from the courtesy phone. We waited for over 45 mins for the shuttle. We saw shuttles for various hotels pass through numerous times. We even joked then that it appeared that we chose a hotel with bad shuttle service. When we got to the hotel I discussed our departure details with the front desk clerk. We were only staying overnight and had a 9 am international flight the next morning. He suggested that 7 am shuttle was best and I said good 7 it is. The next morning when we got to the lobby at 6.45 to check out the clerk asked if I booked the shuttle because it was not recorded on the shuttle schedule. He further stated that the shuttle was full and we would have to take the 7.30. I told him that we had an international flight and could not take that chance. He said I would have to ask the shuttle driver when he arrives if we can fit. He went on to state that the airport did not get very busy until 10 am so the 7.30 shuttle would get us there on time as well. I told him we can't take that chance. When the driver came I told him I needed to get on this shuttle and he assisted ( it was 3 of us each with 2 pieces;lots of bags). To conclude we got to the airport and by the time we were done checking in and processed through security we had to run to our gate. We barely made our flight.

Review 9:I called for the shuttle; they said it would arrive shortly. 1/2 hour later I called again; they said it had been at the airport but would send it back. Called three more times; in an hour it had still not come back for me because "traffic was very heavy and just to be patient". Finally another shuttle drive felt sorry for me & two other gentlemen and we got to the hotel. It turned out they NEVER sent the shuttle back and had no explanation for why it never came to get me & the other two gentlemen.

Review 17:We booked this hotel as it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle service. We arrived by train from Manhattan and although you can see the hotel from the train station you can't walk there, you have to catch the air train to the airport and call the shuttle service to pick you up. This adds about 45 minutes on to arriving at the hotel. In the morning we got up early for the shuttle and the driver never arrived. We needed to be at the airport by 6am and after an hour of waiting the hotel finally called a taxi (at 6:15am) to take us to the airport. There were 6 of us and they only called one taxi so we had to wait for the driver to go to the airport and come back to take us. We were then made to pay for the taxi. While we really hope nothing bad happened to their driver the hotel handled the whole situation terribly, they didn't care about any of us getting to the airport and had no plan to help us out. Our score is only bumped up because of cleanliness and comfort. We would not stay here again.

Review 24:We needed an early sleep, but you could hear anything that was going on in the corridor and even in other rooms. Airport hotels should not only be soundproof to the outside, but to the inside as well. There should be two doors between the bedroom and the hallway and they need to be sealed better. The restaurant is efficient and friendly, but serves junk food.

Review 34:No vegetarian options for dinner!? Extremely poor express breakfast - nothing worth consuming - just fat and sugar. Shuttle bus at 6:30am was late - not a worry you want at that hour when catching a plane. Location is in the middle of airport car parks. Limited options for getting off-site - taxis are very expensive so had to use uber.

Review 36:Shuttle took over 30 minutes for pickup, driver made me fear for my life, and the van needs new brakes (metal on metal grinding). Built cheap, all doors (including room door) are hollow thin metal type; so you can hear everything from a room when walking down the hallway.

Review 62:Being at the airport is a huge advantage if you are flying out early. The bar there and the staff were great meaning didn't have to go out for a beer.
Review 63:If you are staying here it is probably because you have either just arrived at Newark airport or are planning to fly out. If you are departing, then it's probably really important for you to get to the airport on time, so you expect the airport shuttle to leave on time....but: We prebooked the night before and were in the lobby 5 minutes early as instructed, however 15 minutes after the time when the shuttle bus was supposed to leave, it still hadn't showed up. (Another guest told us it is because the shuttle driver leaves to do private taxi trips - not sure if this is true of course.) We had to take a taxi which overcharged us.... BEWARE! I will never stay there again.

Had bathtub/shower combo that was way high to get into and very slippery. My husband slipped and cut on arm. I'm short and very hard to get in and out, really held on tight. Reported to front desk and they said that walk in showers available, instead of tub, but need to request this at checkin or on reservation.

Restaurant on site open 4 pm-12midnight, so convenient for a bite before turning in after,long day of international flying. Had full bar also in restaurant. Rooms large, had safe, and coffee maker in room. Good value for the dollar. Staff all very helpful and kind.
